    Egg Drop Soup 蛋花汤

Nothing like some hot egg drop soup on a hot day! The soup dumplings cannot be skipped, great dough to filling ratio. You order everything (utensils and napkins) via QR code so very minimal interactions with workers, an introverts delight!

Order at the table via QR. Contactless or mobile payments only! We got the spicy fish filet in pickled mustard greens, pork char siu, and pork xiao long bao. All delicious! We actually ordered the spicy fish filet "less spicy" but that turned out to be no heat. Soup dumplings were great and we were able to ask for ginger as well. Staff were pleasant and helpful and helped to describe the dishes. We also ordered some items ToGo from our table and just made sure to note which items.

We tried this place based on Yelp reviews and sadly, I was not a fan. We ordered several dishes and none of them wowed me. I'm usually sensitive to salt but I had to add soy sauce to the Garlic Bokchoy, because it was bland and not garlicky at all. The shrimp and pork siomai lacked flavor and the mapo tofu was nothing like I've ever tasted before (it had a weird taste). The shrimp hargow and Mongolian beef were also just okay. We spent $90 for lunch (including tip). The employees were friendly and courteous but based on food and overall experience, we will not be returning to this place.

Delicious food made fresh. We came in 30 min before their afternoon closing time and we were the last table to leave. They didn't rush us to leave and service was great. We enjoyed every thing we ate.

This place is great but could be better. Just a couple things for you all to know. Pretty much.... They get points for food only. I went here the other day to take my daughter out to lunch, and got to try their dining experience. 1. You pay and order on your phone and the staff JUST bring it to you. That is sort of lame, it removes anything human about your experience, it also asks you to T.I.P. prior to seeing if the "insured proper service." Whatever. 2. The food. Delicious and authentic, but the vibe is synthetic. AND!!!!! 3. The young woman that work there need to watch their language, and because of society right now, I feel odd correcting them. That being said, my daughter doesn't need to learn the f word while learning what "bao" is from her father. Do better. This is not for the community.

3/10/2026: The weather was a little cooler and Momma Kiki was craving Asian food.. One Bite Dumpling for the win! I can't put enough description under the images but let me tell you about the soup that I crave and can't get anywhere else unless I go to San Gabriel Valley. This is a MUST try! If you're a fan of full flavored foods. It is the best, most unique "new to me" dish I've tried in a long while, and this is my fifth time ordering because I am completely addicted! Listed under ENTREES instead of soup, the first time I ordered I expected a platter with fish and pickled greens. When the bowl of soup arrived I was confused, but once I tasted it I was NOT disappointed! It's called Fish Filets with Pickled Mustard Greens 酸菜鱼 on the menu, the Chinese name is suan cai yu for those who know. Tender fish fillets simmered in a bold Sichuan chili broth. Sichuan peppercorns produce a phenomenon which the lips and tongue feel as though they are vibrating and go slightly numb - known as má. I order mine "less spicy" and it still has a little heat but just enough to be tasty, not to bring the pain. Regular is a little spicy for me and the "Extra Spice" must be for the real heat seekers. You can also request them to add their rice noodles to the dish if you're feeling slurpy.. it's delicious either way! The other dish, the Eggplant with Garlic Sauce is new and I'd get that again, too. Let's be honest I haven't had anything bad yet! But be adventurous and try the Fish Filets with Pickled Mustard Greens. Get a bowl to share with your table! Your tastebuds will thank me.

While looking for something different for lunch, we happened upon seeing One Bite Dumpling in our Yelp feed. One Bite Dumpling (一口香饺子坊) is a casual, family-owned restaurant just off I-5 at the Lyons exit in Santa Clarita. The restaurant's interior's layout did not give a great impression, however by the name we could tell the food was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant is known for its on-site handmade dumplings and dim sum. The menu features a variety of dim sum and regular Chinese dishes, including many vegetarian and vegan options. Ordering is via QR code using one's phone or tablet. The menu is easy to navigate. If there are any special instructions when ordering, write it in the open space provided, and they will accommodate. If you can not access, or prefer not to order this way, the front counter person would be happy to assist in placing your order. One Bite Dumpling only takes credit or debit cards. No cash at this time. While service can be hit or miss, the food was definitely worth the trip and another visit will definitely follow.

One Bite Dumpling in Santa Clarita is such a gem! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The chicken dumplings were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had that satisfying bite with each mouthful. You can really taste the freshness in the filling and the balance of flavors in the wrapper. The spicy eggplant was a standout dish. It had just the right amount of heat, rich sauce, and a soft, melt in your mouth texture that paired beautifully with the other dishes. The lotus leaf wrapped rice was comforting and aromatic, with the lotus leaf adding a subtle fragrance that made it feel extra special and authentic. Great food, solid portions, and a welcoming spot that delivers on quality. If you're craving dumplings and flavorful Chinese dishes in Santa Clarita, One Bite Dumpling is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back!

Was visiting a friend over the weekend when we decided to stop here to eat and man how glad I am! The restaurant was packed with a long wait list but it was well worth it. Once you get inside, you are shown where to sit and they have a QR code to scan to order! I love the website, it was super user friendly with good descriptions of each food as well as pictures! The interactions you have with the workers are very limited because of this. We got an order of the Pork Xiao Long Bao and just simply beautiful! They had a lot of favor and broth! It paired amazing with the vinegar/soy sauce they have on every single table. The Shrimp Har Gow was actually my top favorite item we got that. It's such a tiny item but it was PACKED with shrimp! If you're going to go, please try this dish out. I haven't stop thinking about it since. The Sautéed Bok Choy was also very delicious. I wanted something for the health, and we were both glad with this dish. My friend is a very picky eater and never even heard of Bok Choy before, but I managed to convince her to try and she loved it! This dish is definitely picker eater approved! It has a great crunch while having a lot of flavor. The Spicy Pork Wontons were solid delicious dish as well! It was my friend's favorite item! We both agreed that the sauce was the perfect amount of spicy! The last item we got was a Chow Mein! I will say it was nothing special but overall great eat and heated up well the next day! The restaurant itself was super tiny and just buzzing with all the different conversations everybody was having! I did like the videos of the preparing the food on the tv! It was very bright and clean in the restaurant! Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant! It was a great change up from the usual spot I like to go too. everything about going I definitely recommend the Xiao Long Bao and the Shrimp Har Gow!!

I think I'm spoiled from Din Tai Fung, so the Xiao Long Bao's were not for me (and I forgot to take a pic lol). Decided to finally try this spot since we've had it on our list for a while and because we were in the area grabbing coffee. Parking is horrid. We luckily found plenty of street parking but the way this lot is built, forces you to park over the lines which literally everyone did so we couldn't even squeeze into any of the "open" spots. We were greeted by the friendly and very welcoming staff! The manager (didn't get her name) was always checking in on us and making sure we had what we needed. She also asked about my coffee and where we got it from and although they don't allow outside food and drinks, she allowed it this time as long as we didn't leave it behind. Small restaurant overall but packed and busy when we were there. They have a QR ordering system and you check out once you place the order which felt a bit weird since they ask for tip. Felt weird tipping ahead of time? Food came out really quick though which was nice. Again, I don't really like the dumplings, definitely not "one-bite" since the dumplings are huge lol! The entrees were great tho! The Mongolian beef was spicy, surprisingly but very flavorful and delicious. The garlic string beans were yummy but I also didn't care for the bbq pork buns. The bread was just not to our liking and really stick to your teeth/mouth lol. Overall still great spot for the other entrees and I do want to come back and try their black bean fish! There are many other options on their menu, feel free to explore. My kids are picky eaters but they absolutely love the Chinese food from here. I of course enjoy the authentic sechuan flavor being Chinese myself. The restaurant is kept tidy and clean, if you want a dine in experience I recommend you to make a booking, walk-in is very welcome but keep note that sometimes it gets really crowded. Was surprised to find such an authentic spot for Chinese in Oak Park!…read more I came by for a Mother's Day lunch with my family. When we arrived around 1 pm, the restaurant was maybe half full. But clearly it was popular as people were coming in constantly the entire time we were eating. Even though the restaurant is called Yunnan Restaurant, most of the dishes on the menu were more like Sichuan dishes i.e. spicy. All of the food was super solid and portions were ginormous. My recommendation is to order 1 dish per person if you want leftovers, or order one less dish than the # of people if you want to finish most of the food. I don't handle spice very well, so we ordered a mix of spicy and non-spicy dishes. We shared the following: #1 Yunan rice noodles ($16.99) #32 scallion pancake ($8.99) #104 Chong qing fried chicken ($16.99) #107 braised pork belly with buns ($19.99) #109 boiled two items - fish and duck blood ($21.99) Given that the restaurant is called Yunnan Restaurant, we felt like we had to order one of the most popular dishes from that region, the Yunan rice noodles i.e. crossing the bridge noodles. I really enjoyed the silky smooth mixian noodles as well as the flavorful broth. The fried chicken was too spicy for me; I ate one piece and my whole mouth was on fire. Everyone else said it was quite spicy as well, so eat this in moderation unless you can really handle your spice. The 3 pepper signs next to this dish on the menu are no joke! The braised pork belly was delicious, but portions were on the smaller side for this one. Still, I enjoyed making a little bun sandwich with the pork belly and pickled veggies. The boiled fish and duck blood was also super solid. It was just a little spicy, so I was able to manage a couple pieces with the help of rice on the side. Portions were very generous for this dish. We all ate lots of fish and duck blood and still had a ton left to take home. They also have some precooked 涼菜, i.e. cold dishes, on the side you can buy for dine-in or to go. We got 3 of the meats - pork tongue, pork head, and and beef tripe, to go. Paid $16.99 for a huge box of these meats. We thought this was a steal too. Can't wait to try some at home!

After this I do not think we will ever come back. I truly hope that the new changes will not deter any future business. As I was typing this one item ordered came out, the fried rice, no rolls, chicken or noodles. Sad thing is our friends rolls came out when they ordered it but ours didn't....... Ugh. Best of luck. Update. We asked for the status of the orange chicken, 10 minutes later guy came back out for our friends Togo fried rice and asked again where's the orange chicken and he stated we are making it now! Ugh. We already finished the rice and noodles. Now we have to wait longer!?!? FML! Stay away from individual items and just stick with the bowls because you won't have to wait for the staff or the cook.
