This place is great but could be better. Just a couple things for you all to know. Pretty much.... They get points for food only. I went here the other day to take my daughter out to lunch, and got to try their dining experience. 1. You pay and order on your phone and the staff JUST bring it to you. That is sort of lame, it removes anything human about your experience, it also asks you to T.I.P. prior to seeing if the "insured proper service." Whatever. 2. The food. Delicious and authentic, but the vibe is synthetic. AND!!!!! 3. The young woman that work there need to watch their language, and because of society right now, I feel odd correcting them. That being said, my daughter doesn't need to learn the f word while learning what "bao" is from her father. Do better. This is not for the community.

3/10/2026: The weather was a little cooler and Momma Kiki was craving Asian food.. One Bite Dumpling for the win! I can't put enough description under the images but let me tell you about the soup that I crave and can't get anywhere else unless I go to San Gabriel Valley. This is a MUST try! If you're a fan of full flavored foods. It is the best, most unique "new to me" dish I've tried in a long while, and this is my fifth time ordering because I am completely addicted! Listed under ENTREES instead of soup, the first time I ordered I expected a platter with fish and pickled greens. When the bowl of soup arrived I was confused, but once I tasted it I was NOT disappointed! It's called Fish Filets with Pickled Mustard Greens 酸菜鱼 on the menu, the Chinese name is suan cai yu for those who know. Tender fish fillets simmered in a bold Sichuan chili broth. Sichuan peppercorns produce a phenomenon which the lips and tongue feel as though they are vibrating and go slightly numb - known as má. I order mine "less spicy" and it still has a little heat but just enough to be tasty, not to bring the pain. Regular is a little spicy for me and the "Extra Spice" must be for the real heat seekers. You can also request them to add their rice noodles to the dish if you're feeling slurpy.. it's delicious either way! The other dish, the Eggplant with Garlic Sauce is new and I'd get that again, too. Let's be honest I haven't had anything bad yet! But be adventurous and try the Fish Filets with Pickled Mustard Greens. Get a bowl to share with your table! Your tastebuds will thank me.

Was visiting a friend over the weekend when we decided to stop here to eat and man how glad I am! The restaurant was packed with a long wait list but it was well worth it. Once you get inside, you are shown where to sit and they have a QR code to scan to order! I love the website, it was super user friendly with good descriptions of each food as well as pictures! The interactions you have with the workers are very limited because of this. We got an order of the Pork Xiao Long Bao and just simply beautiful! They had a lot of favor and broth! It paired amazing with the vinegar/soy sauce they have on every single table. The Shrimp Har Gow was actually my top favorite item we got that. It's such a tiny item but it was PACKED with shrimp! If you're going to go, please try this dish out. I haven't stop thinking about it since. The Sautéed Bok Choy was also very delicious. I wanted something for the health, and we were both glad with this dish. My friend is a very picky eater and never even heard of Bok Choy before, but I managed to convince her to try and she loved it! This dish is definitely picker eater approved! It has a great crunch while having a lot of flavor. The Spicy Pork Wontons were solid delicious dish as well! It was my friend's favorite item! We both agreed that the sauce was the perfect amount of spicy! The last item we got was a Chow Mein! I will say it was nothing special but overall great eat and heated up well the next day! The restaurant itself was super tiny and just buzzing with all the different conversations everybody was having! I did like the videos of the preparing the food on the tv! It was very bright and clean in the restaurant! Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant! It was a great change up from the usual spot I like to go too. everything about going I definitely recommend the Xiao Long Bao and the Shrimp Har Gow!!

While looking for something different for lunch, we happened upon seeing One Bite Dumpling in our Yelp feed. One Bite Dumpling (一口香饺子坊) is a casual, family-owned restaurant just off I-5 at the Lyons exit in Santa Clarita. The restaurant's interior's layout did not give a great impression, however by the name we could tell the food was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant is known for its on-site handmade dumplings and dim sum. The menu features a variety of dim sum and regular Chinese dishes, including many vegetarian and vegan options. Ordering is via QR code using one's phone or tablet. The menu is easy to navigate. If there are any special instructions when ordering, write it in the open space provided, and they will accommodate. If you can not access, or prefer not to order this way, the front counter person would be happy to assist in placing your order. One Bite Dumpling only takes credit or debit cards. No cash at this time. While service can be hit or miss, the food was definitely worth the trip and another visit will definitely follow.

One Bite Dumpling in Santa Clarita is such a gem! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The chicken dumplings were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had that satisfying bite with each mouthful. You can really taste the freshness in the filling and the balance of flavors in the wrapper. The spicy eggplant was a standout dish. It had just the right amount of heat, rich sauce, and a soft, melt in your mouth texture that paired beautifully with the other dishes. The lotus leaf wrapped rice was comforting and aromatic, with the lotus leaf adding a subtle fragrance that made it feel extra special and authentic. Great food, solid portions, and a welcoming spot that delivers on quality. If you're craving dumplings and flavorful Chinese dishes in Santa Clarita, One Bite Dumpling is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back!

Every time I come into town, I have to go to this place. The food is absolutely delicious. One of the best dumpling spots I've ever been to! Service is super friendly and the ambience is small hole in the wall. I feel like this place is one of SCV's best kept secrets, but everyone should be going and know about this place!

I think I'm spoiled from Din Tai Fung, so the Xiao Long Bao's were not for me (and I forgot to take a pic lol). Decided to finally try this spot since we've had it on our list for a while and because we were in the area grabbing coffee. Parking is horrid. We luckily found plenty of street parking but the way this lot is built, forces you to park over the lines which literally everyone did so we couldn't even squeeze into any of the "open" spots. We were greeted by the friendly and very welcoming staff! The manager (didn't get her name) was always checking in on us and making sure we had what we needed. She also asked about my coffee and where we got it from and although they don't allow outside food and drinks, she allowed it this time as long as we didn't leave it behind. Small restaurant overall but packed and busy when we were there. They have a QR ordering system and you check out once you place the order which felt a bit weird since they ask for tip. Felt weird tipping ahead of time? Food came out really quick though which was nice. Again, I don't really like the dumplings, definitely not "one-bite" since the dumplings are huge lol! The entrees were great tho! The Mongolian beef was spicy, surprisingly but very flavorful and delicious. The garlic string beans were yummy but I also didn't care for the bbq pork buns. The bread was just not to our liking and really stick to your teeth/mouth lol. Overall still great spot for the other entrees and I do want to come back and try their black bean fish! Went off the board for pork wonton soup. Worst tasting soup I've ever had. Got up and walked out after one spoonful. Music was very offbeat and not an easy listen. Place was kinda crowded so they must be doing something right. But it was a bad draw for me.

It was a long wait (we went on a Saturday night, prime time for dinner!) but well worth the wait for a very authentic and delicious dim sum spot! The servers were kind and quick to bring our food out. You order on your phone, on their website and also pay at the same time so it's easy to get in and out (you don't have to wait for a server to bring your check). Very hole-in-the-wall vibes inside but in my opinion that's how you know it'll be good :)

came here for a lunch stop on our way to Los Angeles. Always a good sign when it's crowded and you can see the person making the dumplings by hand! They do have a lunch special, which sounded great, but was craving some dim sum. Ordered the soup dumpling, which is generous is size, piping hot and very very tasty (especially with a little bit of soy sauce and vinegar), the pork and napa cabbage dumpling (which was our favorite. I'm sure the potsticker version of these would be out of the world too!), the pork bun (which were ok, a little too much bao bun dough, but the meat filling is tasty), the taro bun (so soft fluffy with a subtle taro flavor - really good!), egg custard bun (also so good if you love egg tart filling but in a soft, fluffy bao bun). Lastly we ordered the shumai which is usually one of our favorites, but it didn't stand out or compare with the other dim sum orders. order through the QR code at the table so service is fast and friendly.

TCG Dim Sum Noodle House fills a gap that this area has needed for a long time. As Valencia keeps growing, authentic cultural food spots are still pretty limited -- and this one feels genuinely authentic rather than adapted for American tastes. The dim sum tastes fresh and traditional, the noodles have that handmade texture and flavor you usually only find in bigger city spots, and the Hainan chicken is excellent -- simple, clean, and very flavorful. If you're looking for real Chinese comfort food instead of typical takeout-style Chinese, this is absolutely worth a visit. A really great addition to Santa Clarita, and I hope they stick around.

Having gone to many great dim sum spots, this felt short. TCG is inside a ghost kitchen, virtual food hall in SCV. The chicken and shrimp shumai, XLB soup dumplings, and the popcorn chicken were all just okay. Popcorn chicken was a bit better than the dim sum. But the dim sum didn't taste very fresh. By the time we started eating them, they tasted quite mushy. There was no sauce for the popcorn chicken. Someone I know has been before on the weekend, they said the popcorn chicken then was amazing. So I don't know if this place makes their food better on the weekends, but just gives us the lesser quality on the weekdays... quite disappointed. If only the food was consistently good.

Perfect family dim sum experience for us…read more We took out my parents and in-laws for dim sum: my parents' very first time ever. We did wait about an hour, but honestly I didn't mind at all because it gave us a chance to relax, talk, and catch up as a family. Once we were seated, my parents were immediately impressed with the decor: elegant and cultural without feeling overly modern or cold. And can we talk about the tea kettles? They looked like literal pieces of art being poured at the table. Ordering was super easy with the QR code system, so my husband handled the whole spread: shumai dumplings, chicken feet, sesame balls, and more. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The ENTIRE table agreed on one thing: the chili oil condiment deserves to be sold in bottles to take home. It was that good. Smoky, just the right amount of spicy, and addictive. Now for the real test: my in-laws. They've been to *many* dim sum places and are not easily impressed. They declared this place to have the best chicken feet that they've ever had: meat easily sucked off the bone, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and perfectly seasoned. High praise coming from dim sum veterans. Most importantly, my parents' first dim sum experience couldn't have been better. They loved everything from the ambiance to the food to the overall experience. My husband and I want to come back to explore more of the menu because there's clearly so much more to try

Upon entry there is a takeout area where you can order hot meat dishes and to go menu or dine in. We got complimentary hot tea when seated. The interior is a bit dated compared with other restaurants of this type but the food was delicious. We got duck and preserved egg porridge, scrambled egg with shrimp, and a two bbq combo plate of char siu and roast pork. The porridge came out fast and delicious! We ate with the chili and white paper available at the table. Next came the scrambled egg and shrimp. We actually ordered the version with rice, not the entree so the servers got us some rice but missing the gravy. Lastly came the bbq combo plate. We thought it would arrive first since the meats were all ready to go in the takeout area. It came with some hoisin sauce. The char siu was tasty. The roast pork however was not as crispy and kinda mealy so the sauce helped.

I love Sam Woo. I have been coming here for years. Over the years the prices have gone up a lot…read more When I first started coming here, entrées were between 13 and $15 a serving. Now those same entrées are $20 and up I used to be able to order four dishes for around 45 to $50. Today I spent 65 for three entrées and it's barely enough for two people. The servings have gotten a lot smaller over the years. I understand the price of food has gone up. So I expect to pay higher prices. But if I'm gonna pay $20 an entrée, I expect to have a full meal for two people at least. And this was not that. The flavor is still excellent. And the service is bare none. I visited the takeout bar so I didn't have a lot of ambience. But the restaurant was crowded as usual. If they give us a little bit more food for the money, I'll be happy to give them a five star rating. Because I think they're worth it.
