Really enjoyed the si mai and the shrimp crystal dumpling. They were made to order and very fresh. Everything else, pork dumplings, shrimp and pork, and the chocolate xlb were okay. Really enjoyed the Si mai though. Those were the two best dishes out of the 6 that was ordered for the dim sum.

Amazing dim sum restaurant in Beverly Hills. Love the dim sum and they were authentic. The juicy roulette is a mush order dish. Really juicy inside and with different ingredients. The skin of the roasted duck was crispy and we loved its the garlic baby back ribs was also really goods. The service was excellent and we loved it. The decoration also so nice too. They got a promotion for if u spend 50 bucks, you will get free milk bun.

This place was delicious. The pork & shrimp shumai were large! The beef chow fun was perfect! Came here on the weekend just in time for happy hour. Dark, dim, moody, red and black decor. Wasn't crowded . Servers were attentive but hey! We didn't get our fortune cookies at the end of our meal like other tables ...not nice! We tipped well too! Did they run out? Boo! I'll let it slide this time because I was too stuffed to eat some lol

Went on a Thursday night and it wasn't busy. Pork buns were pretty good and sweet. Spicy wontons were my favorite but the pan fried beef ones were not that great. The "spicy " ones weren't spicy at all so don't be scared to get those. The interior was really pretty and the bar area looked really nice.

Awesome dim sum house in West Hollywood ! I love the salt egg yolk bao. They also offer classic and authentic Chinese dishes. The restaurant is well decorated with ornaments. It's a little dark inside which can be perfect for a date night. Portion is very generous with reasonable price point. Fast and professional service

Cozy, dimly lit space with a private room, bar seats, and traditional dining room. We ordered hot and sour soup, mini pan fried beef soup dumplings (would probably opt for the traditional pork xiao long bao next time), pork buns, pork and shrimp shumai, green beans, chicken chow Mein, and Mongolian beef. Everything was excellent! Great bite to the green beans, excellent seasoning on the noodles and beef without being excessively salty. Pork buns definitely were the winners! Waiter was extremely kind! He forgot to bring out our drink orders, but he was incredibly apologetic at the end of the meal and it didn't dampen our experience at all!

Great shop for authentic dumplings! This spot was on my list for some time & im so happy I came recently The service was kind & attentive. Our server was knowledgeable about their menu & different dishes! We ordered family style & I loved they had a "lazy Susan" in the middle to share everything we ordered! We came with a party of four with reservations. We were sat quickly. The areas were clean and the food incredible!

Trip up to LA and decided to try this place. It's alright. Nice looking interior, dimly lit, well decorated, friendly staff. We came around 4:50 pm on a Sunday and it was not busy. Street parking. We lucked out and caught a parking spot right next door, but I could tell that parking could be a challenge if busy. We started with the garlic edamame and walnut shrimp. Both were good, though the edamame was a but syrupy. We then went with some dim sum. Juicy Roulette - good, soup type dumplings. Juicy Pork Dumplings - very good. Crystal Shrimp Dumplings - ok Steamed BBQ Pork Buns - good. Sesame Balls - good. Service was friendly, but a little slow and sparse. We had to ask for our check and then had to walk it up to the front to close out as no one came by to pick it up. Seemed to be a trend throughout the meal. Too few check ins, too many flag downs for service. We do not live anywhere close to this joint, so not a 35 mile special trip kinda place for us, but if you're in the neighborhood...

Came here for brunch on a Sunday, and for a restaurant that is this far out of Chinatown or SGV, it was pretty decent dim sum. Unique items were the Korean BBQ soup dumplings here, a different twist on the XLB. We had the Spare ribs, BBQ Pork Bao, Scallion pancake, and some Shu mai. Its a convenient location if you live Mid City to get some dim sum

The food was good, the dim sum had a sweet savory sauce that i loved! I would say the bok choy had a more simple flavor but still good. The customer service was good too. It's a cute casual spot to grab some lunch or dinner! They have lunch specials during the week which is great.

We come here for lunch all the time and we love it and we always get the same stuff (see pics) Food is tasty, affordable lunch options and big portions. Staff is attentive and friendly. Parking can usually be found on the street (metered) if you look for a few min. Highly recommended!

I came back for a 2nd time, this time on my birthday! Because I remembered loving it so much the first time. However, it was terrible service this time :( and on my birthday nonetheless. So it was very disappointing. There weren't that many people, they sat us down and we hoped to get taken care of quick. The 3 guys kept walking right by, started seating more people, bringing them water, taking their orders. Yet I never even got some water. I was politely staring at them hoping that they would make their way to our table. (Mind you, we weren't even tucked away in the corner or anything) Yet, they never came. It really almost felt like they were ignoring us. 25 whole minutes passed until we were able to actually stop a guy to tell him we are ready. Who knows how long it would've taken if we didn't flag him down. The food was good at least. However, now we were short on time so we couldn't order as much as we'd like. Not the best birthday lunch ;(

Had a wonderful lunch with my family here today - wasn't able to try the weekday lunch specials menu which also looks great - it's only available weekdays 12-3pm FYi for future reference! The juicy pork dumplings (soup) are a great start to have and we enjoyed the shrimp wonton soup and the salt and pepper shrimp appetizer. The shumai were also very juicy and a nice size! We had a nice table with the window in the front which was nice and bright and gave ambiance. The wait staff was attentive and checked on us frequently to ensure we had all we needed at all times. Everything was made to order but out within 5-10 minutes hot and fresh. Come check them out!

Yes, you order what you want they don't cart the food around traditional style unfortunately.

Do you have valet parking? If yes, what is the charge? Thank you.

No valet. Only street parking.

Hi I see that you listed having vegan options. Which food items can be made vegan?

They have veggie dumplings, Stirfry veggies, they have a 'chinese' menu with 2-3 vegan options, and they have Chow Fun with Veggies that's vegan.

How is the parking situation?

There is metered street parking and on weekends they have valet

Hi i'm pregnant and curious if you make sure the pork in your steamed pork buns is well cooked?

Yes it is cooked well. I like my meats cooked well too.

They don't have shrimp rice noodle roll?

I doubt it , as this is a strictly Chinese restaurant. No Thai or Vietnamese items on the menu ..

Are they open?

yes we are open from 11-8 for take out only at the moment.

I see rice flour is used - What all on the menu is considered gluten free?

Is the full menu and all dim sum options available all day or is lunch time more limited?

The full menu is available all day. I don't get there for lunch often, but the last time I was there at lunch, some items were specially priced.

What is happening with reservations? I never used to have problems but lately it seems ever Friday & Saturday is completely booked from 6:30 to 8:30. And this is for a month in advance! Is that possible?

They are remodeling

What time is happy hour?

Monday - Friday 4PM -7PM

Do they have push carts or is it table service?

Table service only.

Is food made to order? Can they make things without garlic and onions as I'm allergic?

The dim sum is, of course, made ahead and steamed to order. I assume that if you order some stir fry items, you could request that onions and garlic be excluded, but be aware that both are used freely in both Chinese cuisine and sauces and the… Read more

This will be my first time coming here and I have a party of four. If we're big eaters, how much should I expect to spend?

Between $80-$150, it's family style and depends on what you order as they differ in pricing.

Do they serve dim sum all day long? Or do they have particular hours? Thanks!

All day!

You can also order from the take out menu. BBQ Cha shiu bao ($1.20)- super good. Large. A little different, they don't use brown sugar to marinade the meat but nice and soft. Pineapple custard bun $1.80- super super good. Large. Pieces of pineapple in the sweet custard. This bun is a winner. Dan ta ($1.80)- deceivingly good. It looks like it'll be dry and not good. But the custard is soft, the crust has not texture. Whole duck ($34)- the roast BBQ is super good. Crispy skin. You see the duck fat is melted with flavor. A little bit on the salty side. But I don't think I've had a duck like this in the 626. I would only come for the baked goods and roast duck. Beef chow fun $13- I would skip this dish. It's not very good. Soggy noodles. No wok hei. Really authentic dim sum takeout spot with a good selection of classic items. We picked up egg tarts, egg rolls, shui mai, har gow, pineapple buns, and BBQ buns. Overall everything tasted really good, especially the dim sum items and buns. The egg tart was flaky and fresh, and the prices were surprisingly good for the amount of food we got. The only miss for me was the egg roll--it came out pretty soggy. The menu is a little more limited since it's mainly focused on takeout, but there was still plenty to choose from. Store was clean and service was fast, which made the stop easy and convenient. Only thing to keep in mind is there's no dedicated parking. We ended up using either street meters or a nearby lot for about $4. Overall, really solid spot for quick and authentic dim sum takeout at a very reasonable price.

So I always try not to hold that against a place because food is obviously best when you eat it there fresh. That said, the pan fried noodles were easily my favorite thing we ordered. Those held up the best and still had good texture by the time we got home. The chicken was good flavor-wise, but there was definitely more bone than chicken, especially on the legs. One cool thing though: when my partner went in to grab the order, they watched them carving the chicken fresh before packing it up. You definitely don't get that kind of thing ordering through Uber Eats. The soy sauce chicken (not pictured) was also solid, and honestly this is a great spot if you want food that'll stretch into leftovers for days. We probably got at least four more meals out of everything. Still... it didn't fully scratch that Chinese restaurant itch for me the way SGV spots do. But for the area? Still a pretty good option.

You order at the counter before finding a table, which made everything feel efficient and relaxed. We ordered the pork belly bun, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, pan-fried pork buns, beef noodle soup, and Hakka mochi. The MVP of the meal was undoubtedly the Taiwanese popcorn chicken. It was honestly better than many versions I've had in Taiwan, and I've had plenty. The chicken was crispy and crunchy without being greasy, and the meat stayed juicy rather than drying out. If you come here, order this. The pork belly bun was my personal favorite. The braised pork belly practically melted in my mouth, and everything was seasoned beautifully. Simple, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. The pan-fried pork buns were the only disappointment. The filling felt underseasoned, and the bottoms lacked the crispy crust I was hoping for. They were fine, but not something I would order again. The beef noodle soup was solid. The broth was excellent, with a depth of flavor and spice profile that I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the beef shank was overcooked and a bit too dry (乾) for my liking. For dessert, we had the Hakka mochi. It was served warm, pleasantly chewy, and not overly sweet. It was a nice way to end the meal and made me curious to try some of their other desserts next time. This was overall a fantastic meal. Not every dish was perfect, but the highlights were memorable enough that I'll gladly return. The popcorn chicken alone is worth the visit.

The food came pretty quickly and arrived before our drinks, in fact. The cucumber salad was fresh, and the cucumbers had a nice crunch. I liked the flavor of the chicken, but I thought it a bit on the dry side. The dan dan noodles and pork buns were excellent, however. The noodles were flavorful and had an enjoyable chew. The pork buns were tasty as well and filled with juicy meat. I also really liked the soy milk. It wasn't too sweet, and it had a nice thickness. The staff was friendly.
