Had a wonderful group dinner experience at One Dine. There was a long table set up which was above the One World Observatory fit for ~30 people. It was a beautiful layout. Sadly the day we were there, it was raining! So could not see too much or too far into the horizon. However it was will worthwhile nonetheless! We had a fixed menu with all family-style dishes, which I think is so much better as I did not have to select which mains I wanted and/or had to share with my husband. I was able to taste everything! For our apps, we had the burrata & prosciutto, smoked trout flatbread, and the hummus (which I loved! with chopped olives). For our mains, we shared the filet mignon, branzino, and the veggie pasta. Which were all delicious! I was even able to ask for the filet mignon to be cooked well-done. Which was honestly not the best. But I wanted a piece! And the sides which were a huge highlight, were the maitake mushrooms, mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese. Loved the mushrooms! Absolutely delicious! Service was excellent and food was great! I came here for a corporate dinner and as I always say, my experience is always rooted in expectations. Of course dinner on the 100th plus floor is going to provide great views and atmosphere, you just don't really know what the food experience is going to be. In this case, because our group was large, we had a pre-set family style menu that provided for a fillet option, chicken option, and a really well done Seabass option. The sides, wall, traditional, like broccolini and mashed potatoes. We're both very good. I'd say the mashed potatoes border on insanely good. In that forum, and that size group, it's not impossible for things to go wrong, food to be overcooked, we're not hot enough, but that was not the case here. The service did a tremendous job getting food to the table, everything was very good, obviously not the absolute best, but that's not why you're here. I would still put this on a very high scale and say it's worth a visit. We started dinner while it was still light outside and carried on until it was completely dark and the atmosphere inside the room and of the view made this a really great night. Adding to the experience, it's always fun having at least somebody at the table who had never been to New York City before, and you could see their excitement at a higher level than everybody else. The fiancé took me here for my birthday dinner this year. You get great food with a great view, but this restaurant is way more casual than I hoped for the occasion. The restaurant is on a balcony over the observatory, so the ambiance feels so casual as you see all the tourists taking photos. It's nice if you happen to grab a meal while visiting the observatory, but not exactly a special occasion type of place. Either way, I did enjoy the food here and their dining experience with prefix was a good deal. For $155 per person, you get 2 drinks, one appetizer, one entree, one dessert, and your ticket to the observatory. For NYC, it's a pretty good deal considering the observatory ticket is $50 and two drinks in NYC is easily $25 each. For drinks, I had the Midtown Margarita while he had The Big Apple. The Margarita was nice and spicy while the Big Apple was a fun and pretty pina colada cocktail. Next, we each had the New World Fashion for a strong Old Fashioned drink. Even if you're not here to eat, I'd recommend grabbing one of these cocktails while enjoying the view. For food, we started off with the Hummus ($17) and Roasted Clams ($24). Both were delicious appetizers and well made. Then I had the Berkshire Pork Chop ($47) and he had the Ribeye ($60). The sauce and flavors were all on point, although the pork chop was a bit on the dry side but the collard greens and parsnip helped. The ribeye was absolutely amazing though, especially the wine jus. We also added a side of Truffle Fries ($20), which was an additional cost from the pre-fix. We were both a bit annoyed though because our waiter told us the sides were $5 each, but shocked to see our bill was $25... some weird miscommunication here. Anyways, we ended our meal with Vanilla Creme Brulee ($20) and Sticky Toffee Pudding ($18). The desserts were delicious and really made me super full. They did add a chocolate birthday decor for our dessert, which was nice though. The entire meal took almost two hours, so I am glad we arrived 45 minutes early to our reservations as advised. We were able to start our meal during day and caught sunset by dessert. Once we left, it was night and we enjoyed the observatory afterwards. One World Observatory Restaurant - Stunning Views, Uneven Dining Experience We dined at One World last night, and while the view was absolutely spectacular -- truly the highlight of the evening -- the overall dining experience didn't quite live up to the price point. The food was okay, but not memorable. The filet mignon, while flavorful, was served lukewarm and undercooked in the center due to its thickness. Thankfully, the fries were excellent and ended up being the unexpected star of the plate. I ordered the branzino, which was decent, but there was something slightly off that I couldn't quite place. No lines, and I had a leisurely relaxing lunch on a perfect sunny day, with no clouds in the sky. The experience of the observatory is exceptional. What surprised me was the lunch. The menu offered something for everyone. Unparalleled dining experience! We had dinner "on top of the world" (101st floor) after visiting the Observatory, and enjoyed amazing views and beautiful sunset. The city lights at night completed the experience. We arrived early for our reservation and they were able to seat us immediately. Staff was wonderful, and all drinks and food was excellent. As noted, be aware that 18% gratuity is included in the bill. We loved the broccoli fettuccini and spinach lasagna (red sauce was some of the best I've ever tasted). What an incredible vista! The team here was incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient in their service. And off course the view is incredible in every seat even at the bar. While the prices seemed reasonable at first glance, the cost can escalate if you're solely dining in, as you're required to purchase tickets to the observatory. One aspect that struck me as odd was the significant variance in portion sizes for the main courses. Beautiful views, as expected, on the top of WTC. Cocktails were pricey at $23, but again, as expected. I enjoyed the Uptown Martini more than my partner's New World Fashion. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food here!!! I was a little nervous because it is a tourist trap, due to the location inside the World Trade Center, but I was very pleased with my meal. I ordered the burger, which came with red onions, lettuce, tomatoes, a sunny side up egg, OWO sauce, bacon, and American cheese, with a side of fries. The meat was great quality, was cooked how I requested, all the flavors blended together well, and the bun was fluffy and fresh. The fries were thin and crispy, and went well with both the pickle on the side (and the extra side of OWO sauce). For a drink I ordered the spicy jalapeño margarita, it had a nice little kick to it. I thought the atmosphere was amazing, we were sat next to a table near the windows (per request), and were able to watch the sunset. I can understand how people would be upset if they came here for the view, and were sat at an inside table with no view (quite a few of those). I appreciate that I was able to use our $15 vouchers (from our priority ticket into WTC) for dinner; not necessarily "just" a cocktail (as previously stated). I would not eat here unless I was already paying to go into the WTC (because a $38 entrance ticket is required), but the food and the views were worth it, atleast once!! The views of NYC at 100 stories up are absolutely stunning. I think after reading most of the poor reviews, they're based on the fact that 1. They did not know you had to pay to get into WTC to get upstairs to the restaurant and/or 2. They did not get a table near a window. read more

I visited on a Saturday night. I recommend making a reservation. It is not absolutely necessary as there are plenty of people that just walk up, but they take you quicker with a reservation. I saw previous reviews of people complaining about having to buy observatory tickets and not knowing when they made reservations - it CLEARLY says it all over the website, as well as open table, or other reservation service you may use. Be prepared to arrive early enough to go through security, and a short presentation in a theatre before making your way to the restaurant because there is no direct route (only reason I am not giving 5 stars) to the restaurant. Once you arrive, the ambiance and views are just simply unbeatable. You quickly forget the few minutes you spent to get up there. The food and drinks were amazing. They definitely surpassed any expectations I had in my mind. I had the Big (pine) Apple which was very good and refreshing. I also tasted the Cinnamon Times Square which was very tasty. Ordered the burrata as an app and it was extremely fresh, and very tasty (can be shared by 2). I ordered the Steak Frites, which was simply incredible. It was cooked to perfection, had good taste, was very tender, and the port demi it was in was soooo tasty, I could have drank a glass of it! I had a taste of the roasted miso cauliflower, which was extremely tasty and delicious (and I am NOT a vegetable guy!). We had a wonderful experience at One Dine. The restaurant manager called me one the day of my reservation to confirm and provide advices on how/when to arrive. Even though we arrived 30 minutes before our reservation time, we got table right away. We were greeted with a special occasion card. The restaurant has small, well curated food menu, and a huge drinks menu. The food and drinks all were so well prepared. Strawberry Fields ("Lemonade") was good. The Branzino was so delicious, crispy skin, with perfectly soft filet. Rest of the ingredients completed the fish. The Fliet Mignon and Lobster tail was equally a star. The Lobster tail was soft and already cleaned from it's shell. The steak was delicately cooked, very tender. We also got the Lava cake for dessert, again delicious. It was the perfect end to a memorable evening!!!! Because the restaurant requires buying tickets to One world observatory, it discourages me to visit this place more often. I will start by saying if you are a New Yorker stay far away, if you are from out of town have fun. My wife and I remember Windows On the World, and have very fond memories from that time - this was nothing like that. Don't expect a fine dining experience here. I mean the first thing the host said to me was "do you have a reservation" no problem with that but before I can answer "because we only hold it for 10 minutes". Who does that? I realize expectation is key depending on where you go. I'm not going to go to Dino BBQ in BK and expect Michellen star food or service. If your looking for fine dining don't expect it here you won't find it. We did not stay and ended up leaving and going to Nobu down a few hundred stories and few blocks over. Holy...We took the train up from Philly. We did the 9/11 museum tour and part of the "tour" included the One Observation tour/sighting. Legends runs the nice sit down restaurant...wow. Certainly a once in a lifetime bucket list item checked off. The short menu is reflective of the building, simple and beautiful. To get right down to it we each ordered something different with the intention of sharing the flavors. So...New York steak, carrots, roasted chicken and Chinese broccoli, Sea Bream, with pommes frites and mussels. We enjoyed every single bite, passing the sides around the table and negotiating bite trades with each other. The reason I'm giving this two stars is because the food was excellent and tasty, and you can't beat the view. Otherwise, months later, I'm still livid over my experience here. I was in NYC for a job interview in One World Treade Center, and decided to see the observatory and dine before my interview. I bought special tickets through OpenTable when I made the reservation that were supposed to cover the entry of the observatory as well as one entree and one drink for lunch. When the server brought the bill, I was mystified that I was charged full price. When I asked about the OpenTable special, she said, "oh that just means you get $7 off a dessert" or something along those lines. Not only that, the hostess kept asking me if I was okay. I'd travelled from another state, was extremely tired, and nervous about my interview. Way to make me feel strange about dining alone. I left a review on OpenTable and the manager contacted me. I sent her all the proof that I had been way overcharged, and she promised me a free entree, etc. next visit. Well, I contacted her with no response, so here is my review. Avoid this place - it is a scam if you buy the "special tickets." And the service wasn't great. You're better off going to Balthazaar if you want high-end, because the way they treated me is egregious and I haven;t forgotten it. read more

YOU NEED TICKETS TO GET INTO THE RESTRUANT!!! and the menu has 2 entrés and they look like bar food and taste like bar food and are way overpriced. I debated giving One Dine 3 or 4 stars. The view is definitely very nice but you have to pay the observatory fee to order off the a la carte menu. It is also a maze to get to the restaurant. The food and drinks are quite expensive. For 2 mock tails, 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes, it cost over $80 per person (18% gratuity included). With that said, the food was good. I had fried brussel sprouts and the sea bream. The food also took a very long time to come. We were chatting so I'm not certain but probably over 40 minutes. I typically avoid restaurants located on an expensive piece of real estate, i.e., with good views, etc. because food at those places is not good. I came away pleasantly surprised.
