    Pappardele Funghi

Stayed next door at the Doubletree which I learned was actually attached to the restaurant. Restaurant was closing in 12 minutes so I got room service. Super fast delivery and piping hot. I got the Pappardale Funghi and it's delicious.

I was a little concerned when I arrived and the restaurant was connected to a Double Tree Hotel but those fears were quickly resolved. The staff was incredibly professional it might as all been connected to a Ritz and the food was amazing. Once you're inside, it's an elevated experience. The burrata was amazing and the veal parmigiana is big enough for two people but too good to share. Definitely add this one to the list.

Went to this spot after a long day of walking around the city and it checked all the boxes! The food was great and so was the service. They have great prices for all their food and they have a great bread service. The placebos attached to a hotel in the financial district and it very cozy.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I don't even believe it's even real salmon in here. I instantly spat out my food. How do you mess up pasta? I'm not sure if it's because I order through an online delivering service and the quality got lost in translation or it really is just nasty.

I came here just bc it was across the street from my hotel on a work trip so I just sat at the bar. I had a glass of sav blanc which was delicious but the star of the show was the carbonara. I've had carbonara in Italy and this was up there with that in terms of deliciousness. The service at the bar was great as well, very attentive.

Located on Stone St. near Broad St. in the Financial District, lower Manhattan adjacent to the Doubletree hotel. We went here for my birthday dinner (no reservations required). It was convenient as its entrance was within our hotel so we had to try it. The restaurant is small but has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a wine bar. I had their 'Fettuccine alla Sorrentino' and my husband had their 'Carbonara'. For dessert, we had a 'Sorbet' and 'Cannoli'. Food tasted fresh and was really good. However, I felt all was a bit overpriced for what it was. We had wine and were asked if we wanted 'still' or 'sparkling' water, so we opted for 'still'. To my surprise, they added a $9 cost to my bill for the water (that I didn't ask for). I had never been charged for water no matter how boujee the restaurant is. Another thing I did not like was the forced, automatic 20% tip on our bill for a party of 2, especially because I don't know how to feel about the service. It felt a bit awkward with the man who served us. Had no personality and seemed offended with our menu questions, as if we're supposed to know. Overall, we did enjoy the food but will not return during our stay based on this experience.

    Calamari fresh marinara

Best cozy Italian Ristorante in the financial district, if not the city. Friendly staff, charming waiters and fresh, delicious Italian dishes. Vast wine menu, helpful sommelier and tasty wines. Ambiance is white tablecloth but quaint, quiet and lovely. Calamari is light golden crispy with a delicate marinara sauce, fresh homemade pastas are outstanding, I had the ravioli. Fresh catch of sea bass was outstanding and salads and soups are fresh and homemade. Tiramisu is the best in the city!!

    Espresso martini

A classic upscale Italian restaurant with bottles of wine at the table settings to set the stage for an intimate and elegant dining experience. The food was slightly pricey but really worth the money. The calamari was lightly breaded and cooked to perfection served with a mildly sweet marinara sauce. The carpaccio was presented so well you almost don't want to eat it. The vogole was seasoned with olive oil and garlic and not too over powering. The most surprising part to me was the espresso martini. Hands down the best one I have had. Made with strong, delicious real espresso, and not too sweet. Presented with a thick froth and 3 coffee beans. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating. We sat there for 3 hours eating, talking, and laughing and they allowed us to enjoy the experience without any pressure to speed us through our courses.

    Spaghetti Carbonara

Traditional Italian restaurant located in FiDi with great food and no-nonsense service. We started with the fried calamari and baked clams - both solid. For entrees we had the Linguine Vongole, Spaghetti Carbonara and Veal Parmigiana. Both pastas were nicely prepared and the veal was impressive. Worth a visit for a good Italian meal.

    Pasta with Bolognese

The atmosphere and service was only exceeded by the exceptional quality of the food. I had pasta with Bolognese sauce. The best I've ever had. Highly recommend.

Minestrone, egg and spinach soup, chicken Alfredo. All of my guest loved the food!

Visiting New York for a 12 hours. My family and I visited this restaurant for the first time. The service is top notch! Everyone was attentive. The venue was clean, the presentation at the table was incredible. The servers were kind. We will be back!!!! Stefano! Gracias!

Fine enough experience. Pasta was tasty but was nothing special, especially for the price. The peas within the pasta tasted freezer burned. Service was fine and ambiance was nice. Overall, have had better in the city though

Update: This restaurant refunded the 50 $ tip that I added. That was an upstanding thing to do. I have altered my rating, and also want to explain that unless I find something exceptionally wrong, I'll always give 5 stars. My opinion on the food/service is just that, an opinion. No need to rank anything. So, here is my issue with this place. They automatically charge a 20% gratuity. But still include a line for tip. I didn't actually realize they included a tip automatically. It would have been nice had someone double checked as the total in tips for our table amount to 100 dollars on a 200 dollar check (give or take.) Now, I have worked as a server and That was honestly enough to give this place one star. What it tells me is that the owner pays the staff so little they take what they can, or they are just shitty people in general. Having said that, for the entire two hours we were there, no one else came in which should be a red flag to anyone. The food is fine (I'd bet it is NOT actually "homemade" pasta like they claim (at least for my dish, which was the fettuccini alla Sorrentino). As well, their whole feel is very antiquated. No one wants to be charged exorbitant prices to be given one sad roll and a cold sliver of butter. Seriously, for what became a 300 dollar check for three people they could at least give us more bread. Again, I can't say the food was bad here. But, just an antiquated restaurant and no integrity or honesty. On a plus, I was impressed that they were playing contemporary Italian music (Eros Ramazzotti).

When we entered the restaurant and took the elevator up to the restaurant, we were delighted to find free wine provided for us to pour in the elevator. Admittedly, it was red wine, so not my favorite, and it did taste cheap, but still appreciated. To start off, we ordered the onion torta, focaccia, and smashed potatoes. The onion torta was surprisingly good and tasted like a form of french onion soup. As a focaccia enthusiast, the focaccia was fluffy and delicious. We also got the charred beans, carrots, ravioli, tagliatelle, ravioli, and trout to share. The charred beans were surprisingly the long beans and not the smaller ones we expected. However, they were very juicy and better than we thought they would be. The rigatoni resembled cacio e pepe with its pepperiness, the tagliatelle tasted like standard red sauce, but i did enjoy the ravioli and the ricotta inside. For dessert, we had the basque cheesecake which was alright, but I'm not the biggest fan of cheesecake. Overall, we had a great time at Ci Siamo and I would definitely recommend ordering the focaccia and onion torta and we could have skipped the carrots, beans, trout, and tagliatelle.

I acknowledged that the server doesn't write the menu, but absolutely zero customer service skills. The service overall was lacking. Aside from taking our order, no one checked on us or came back to see if we needed anything. Our server was just hanging out chatting up the hostess.
