One of my first 1-star reviews in a while and I feel bad about that. But this was just a bad all-around experience. With respect to food, I ordered the tofu stir fry. The menu description indicates it's a variety of veggies "served over basmati rice." Consequently, I thought it would be a good amount of large veggie pieces served on top of rice. What I got instead was essential fried rice. The veggies were finely chopped and mixed in with the rice. I was very unhappy with this dish and the false description. But despite my disappoint with the food, what was the worst part of eating here was the service. Every part of the dining experience was delayed. Drinks ordered at the start took 20+ minutes to arrive such that the ice in my drink was already halfway melted. Dinner took well over an hour to be served. And the amount of time it took for our waitress to figure out our checks was comical. I honestly don't know if that was her first day or she and the restaurant simply didn't care about customer service. But do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

Really between 3 and 4 stars here. Located within the hotel we stayed at, I made a reservation for Saturday night under the assumption it would be very busy and we would need one. Upon checking in, it was pretty much dead which told me either people eat earlier, or other people knew something we didn't as first timers. We were immediately sat and ordered drinks. I got a maple old-fashioned which was good. We decided on two appetizers to share: crab dip and burrata. The burrata was good - though I would have liked to have more tomatoes - the ratio wasn't comparable. The crab dip was very underwhelming: just like white paste. Very disappointing. For my entree I ended up going with the Delmonico steak. The potatoes (all three of them) were unseasoned. The broccolini was good. Steak was cooked medium, but just standard. I asked for a side of bacon Mac and cheese which they ended up giving a huge portion. This was solid - needed more seasoning. It was ok - would recommend trying it.

SERVICE WAS CRAP!!! It's really irritating when people who came in AFTER us get their food BEFORE us. I don't care if the waitress tells you that the food sat in the window. This would explain why the French onion soup was cold. I paid for the appetizer and drinks and left very upset! We waited 30 mins for a very empty restaurant to be served last and cold food. Won't return.

A nice, clean, comfortable place that is part of the Gettysburg Hotel in Lincoln Square. Right smack dab in the middle of all the shopping and restaurants downtown Gettysburg has to offer. Service was very friendly and attentive, and the salads were large and very tasty. The burger was enjoyable, the place was very clean, and there is a bar near the back of the restaurant that wasn't in operation when we were there for lunch, but looks like an old-fashioned tavern.

Wifey and I stayed at the hotel here and had to try at least one meal at One Lincoln while in town. We decided on lunch and had a fantastic meal. We were seated immediately near the street so we could people watch and each ordered a cocktail- Wifey had a Tito's and soda, which was very good, and I had a Perfect Manhattan, which was also very good. As soon as I looked at the menu I knew what we were both having. I ordered the shrimp and grits and Wifey ordered the baked salmon flatbread. I wanted to order the she crab soup, but it had peas so I couldn't get it...I can't eat those disgusting little green balls of ick. Our waiter was super nice and friendly, brought us bread while we waited...and waited...and refilled our waters while we waited some more. Yes, the service was painstakingly slow. To the point where Wifey needed to gobble her meal because she had to be someplace we thought we'd have plenty of time to get to...and the worst part was the place wasn't busy. Food finally came and it was outstanding, like I wanted to lick my plate it was so good. If the service wasn't so slow I'd have easily given it four stars. I'd say 4+ for the food, but the kitchen was just way too slow.

We were guests of the Gettysburg hotel where this is located. The bar is a lively scene, but we opted for the more quiet dining room, (outdoor street-side dining is also an option.) We were here on a Tuesday-Wednesday evening. Be aware that in September, the restaurants in this town close early and also many do not have their websites updated as to hours. So call before you make your meal plans. We ordered the French onion soup which was served in a little crock and very flavorful. The prosciutto wrapped asparagus was tasty but would have been better broiled as opposed to cold. I had the spring green gorgonzola salad with pecans and cranberries it was very fresh and tasty! My husband had the mushroom risotto which he said was very good.

We had our Thanksgiving Dinner here and it was absolutely wonderful. I of course had to get the Traditional Thanksgiving Plate. Hubby got the NY Strip Steak and we shared the crabmeat stuffed scallops served with succotash. The food was yummy and the service was good. My only issues were that they didn't have any cranberry relish and the succotash didn't seem to have the shrimp they advertised on the menu. The restaurant itself is located in the historic Gettysburg Hotel with a cozy atmosphere. We finished our meal with a delicious slice of salted caramel white cake. Just a wonderful evening with good food and the best company. Thankful on Thanksgiving.

The initial service experience was satisfactory. **Issue Regarding Beverage** During the course of the meal, a mixed beverage was ordered for my wife. Upon service, the drink was found to be prepared in a manner that rendered it excessively sweet and not palatable. The issue was brought to the attention of the waitstaff, with a request that the item be removed from the final invoice due to the product not meeting reasonable standards for consumption. **Resolution and Conclusion** Management declined the request to remove the item from the bill, notwithstanding our objection regarding the quality of the preparation. Consequently, the full cost of the beverage remained on the final check. While the initial greeting and seating process were efficient, the refusal to address the concern regarding the beverage resulted in a disappointing conclusion to the visit. Though this establishment has other reviews also reflecting their policy not to remove such unsatisfactory items from the check, be aware of this lowered customer service standard before dining there. We will not be returning.

I can't tell you how many times that medium is what I usually get when requesting medium-rare at restaurants. There's a big difference between the two in terms of internal temperature, center color, and texture. This place knows how to properly cook a medium-rare burger, and for me, that's a sign of quality and sets it apart. The sidewinder fries are fab as are the homemade potato chips and either comes with burgers. The dressing on the coleslaw needs some seasoning, but the slaw itself is fresh and crunchy. The Maryland crab soup is pretty slammin', too. I favor the back dining room, not the bar (in front). These 2 areas have different vibes. The back room feels like the way a burger joint should be. The bar is, well, more bar-ish. One of the servers, Brody, provides exceptional service--a shout out to him. This establishment's name is playful and clearly informs the customer as to what their specialty is: hamburgers. I bought one of their T-shirts, perhaps that says it all.

Pretzel seemed like it was made with fresh dough and it the buttery, saltiness just made it exactly what we wanted. It's clean and dark and warm. I wasn't expecting a Cheers welcome but we weren't even created when we walked in. The hostess was at her stations all the way inside the bottom floor. The hostess was polite when we approached and sat us upstairs per our request. That's where the spell of the place evaporated. We sat about 10-15 minutes before our server made it to us. (The place was not busy outside of the bar down stairs. When she asked us what we wanted to drink my friend ordered I said "I need a second what do you recommend between...." she interrupted and said "I'll be back." It took 20 minutes to come back with his drink (Guinness in a warm beer glass) I asked for water, she didn't acknowledge me and walked away. I tried to get her attention for the next 20 minutes so we could order. She would walk past us. I tried to flag her down again nothing. After about 40 minutes she came back to take our order. We were still hoping to turn the trip around as we were excited about the menu. We ordered the shelpards pie potato skins, a bowl of cream of crab soup, a steak and the bangers stew. By the time our food made it to us we had been sitting almost an hour and a half. The soup was amazing. It was hot it was tasty the crab was forward, I really enjoyed it. The skins were mid. Some were over cooked some were just right. All of them were cold. It seemed like they were pre cooked and frozen to be reheated later. The steak was over cooked and all but flavorless. The potatoes were just wet mashed potatoes. And the beans were equally as bland. Non of it was hot. The bangers stew was... Almost edible. The potatoes. Good, onions and carrots and meat. All tasty on their own. The sauce though was ungodly sweet. So sweet that it made the rest inedible. All in all we were there for almost 2 hours. We were $91 into our tab. By the time the food came, we asked for our ticket and some boxes. We tried a few bites and left. I probably won't ever go back.

The layout is long and narrow, which gives four options for seating: the bustling bar scene, a more formal dining room with around 10 tables, a private dining room with a single long dining table... ...and an anti-social hallway with bar service and a few tables, perfect for when you've had a long day on the road and don't particularly want to socialize with anyone but still want to know that other people are alive.
