Had such a fun experience - our first time at an all you can eat Korean bbq/hot pot restaurant. Server was very helpful - plan to tip big when you go here because those servers are doing a lot of work for you! You choose if your table is going to do the hot pot menu or the bbq menu or both. Then you choose some items to start with from the different sections of the menu. The food is brought out in cute little dishes and your server will suggest cooking methods and times. Then start cooking and eating! It's really fun and different to eat food fresh off the grill. The server switches out the grill with a fresh one as it gets encrusted and too smokey. I was able to stop by for their grand opening on the way back to Columbus. I got the kbbq and hot pot combo. Love that you don't have to choose just one (but the whole table must choose same thing). For hot pot, I got the szechuan butter. Highly recommend trying this one! My friend got the tum yum broth which was also good! They got the tum yum soup flavors right! The sauce/sides bar has great options. My favorite was the jalapeno pickles. Definitely went back for seconds way too many times. Service was great! You will not get in or on the wait list unless you have everyone with you on a weekend with a bigger group, so try to get there together or carpool so some are not stuck waiting outside the restaurant for others. The food is fun and so is the experience. Bring a good appetite as you want to eat all you order. One menu is a selection of food you can all put in different flavored broths to add flavor. Then bbq that you can grab sauces for and have fun cooking with the group at the table. Lol. As a businessman I would not want that liability, but it is fun the bigger the group. It was my first time here, first time at a Korean BBQ. It has a nice vibe, futuristic decor, good music (loud enough to hear but not too loud hear others). The food was great, we tried just about everything. As a first-time patron, it would have been nice to have someone walk me through the experience or recommend things to try, but we were pretty much on our own. We tried the newly opened hot pot and Korean barbecue spot last weekend and had a great time! We came on a Saturday night and when we arrived we were put on the waitlist and told it would be about 30-40 minutes, we went across the street to browse the bookstore and about 20 minutes later we got the text our table was ready. We tried their barbecue and were super happy with the quality of the meat, the ease of ordering (through a QR code at the table or via server), the sauce bar, and the drinks. We have been looking for AYCE Korean barbecue ever since relocating from California. This place is it!! The food is excellent, everything was super clean, staff very friendly and helpful, and ambiance was comfortable. We went for Saturday lunch, so paid the higher "dinner" price (which we knew about beforehand). If you like the higher end beef and seafood options, it is well worth it. Each "order" of an item is fairly small, which we really appreciated because we were able to try lots of different options. If you want more you can order the same item more then once. The bulgogi and spicy bulgogi were entirely on point, as was the spicy pork belly. The only thing I wish for was a wider range of ban chan, but the kimchi was very very good. So good! The quality and variety beats every other ayce spot in Cleveland. The Korean bbq tastes authentically Korean and the Hot pot broth flavors are on point. The spicy jalapeño pickles are so good but unfortunately they don't sell sides of it for take out yet. I'd buy an entire jar of those pickles! Szechuan butter broth was the best hot pot broth I've ever tasted. The sauce bar has great options. Cocktails were SO GOOD. We tried the Lemonade Journey, Mojito, Yuzu Mule, and Pink Drink. This is not a great place for a wheelchair. I can't sit close enough to the table and you have to be able to cook your food in the pot. Instructions are bit difficult to understand re:how to order, time to cook food, etc. Drinks are well made, I had a honey mule which was very tasty. Service was good. If I had a nickel for everytime I wished for an AYCE option in the Cleveland area, well I'd be rich. Been here for the past 7 years and I'm SO grateful that someone has finally opened a quality AYCE option within a few minutes from campus. Saturday dinner was $29.99 with the added option of an extra $5 charge if you wished for both hot pot and kbbq. Otherwise, the entire table would have to choose one or the other. As there were 6 of us and only one grill, we opted for hot pot. At 8 pm on this beautiful summer night, outdoor seating was as good as it could get! It's quieter outside and I felt that we were truly able to enjoy each other's company. Highly recommend trying the drinks here as well! I got the milk ice and was throughly impressed. However, be careful as the alcohol content is quite variable in drinks as mine was minimal alcohol, and my friend that got the mule was knocked over with the alcohol content in hers! This place is our new fav! We've gone twice in the last 2 weeks, and both times were awesome. We chose the hot pot & bbq each time. It is a whole experience. They bring the food you choose to the table and you create your own meal with hot pots and grills built into the tables. You get a wide choice of menu in categories of veggies, beef, pork, fowl, seafood, and vegan; choice of broth base; and choice of ramen, or various kinds of rice. All you can eat! It can get a bit smokey but staff is very helpful if that happens. They are kind, helpful if you're new to the experience, responsive and quick with service. Saturday evenings often have a waiting list, but the wait was not long. We also went on a Friday evening and there was no wait. But when we left, we saw several people waiting to get tables. The food and service is about average. compared to K pot, the price is the same but the quality is worse. The beef is OK (see the attached picture. You can cut better beef slice at home). The meat is definitely medium-low quality. The worst thing I feel is that the air conditioner doesn't work well since it is always smoky and hot indoor. First impression walking into the restaurant I thought it was actually very good ambiance. But beneath this ambiance is a lack of even the basics of proper service combined with average food. Our waiter took 10-15 minutes to come and introduce himself, and came across as cold and rushed. Following that was another 10-15 mins to the order. He was so slow in fact that other servers came and took our orders for additional rounds of foods. It's an all you can eat place, but it takes very long to get multiple rounds of food, which was also of very mediocre quality. The ribs were not properly seasoned, and brisket had an awful texture; it should be hard to fuck up when you're mostly serving raw food and we cook it , but they managed to make it happed; We also ordered a few cocktails as well which arrived by the time we were done eating. Paying for food was also a pain, and it took another 15 mins for someone to come and scan our cards. Perhaps all this is because they are new; but I do know that you should have things practiced multiple times and optimized before the soft opening and full launch. Customers can't be more lenient just because they are new and having a piss poor service is no exception. This was by far one of the worst AYCE kbbq restaurants I've ever been to. Save your money and go to Kpot on the west side and you'll have a much better and organized experience. read more

Went in tonight to check out this place about a month after opening. While eating, I saw a family celebrating the graduation of their daughter being harassed and insulted by staff. A server incorrectly overcharged their card. The customer didn't get an immediate refund so they were not able to pay twice for their meal. Management accused them of stealing and huddled around the family saying they would call the cops. They even asked to hold her ID until she could come back and pay for the meal *that she ALREADY paid for* That's illegal and such a bad way to manage the situation. They called the police on the family and I left before I could see the situation resolve. This place is very unprofessional, literally bullying customers because of their own mistakes. read more

IF I COULD RATE 0 STARS I WOULD! DO NOT GO HERE! This is worst Korean BBQ place that I've ever been too. We always go to Korean BBQ places so we are familiar how everything works. My husband and I went with four other people. We arrived around 5pm and we ordered our food. We ordered another round of dishes but we didn't receive it until an hour later. Our waitress got mad because we wanted to switch out the tray and told us she was going to charge us extra for the food we wasted. We told her that we didn't know the leftover burnt food was edible... We finally started eating and the waitress says times up. We weren't informed that the time limit was only 2 hours and we only had 5-10 minutes to finish all the food we ordered. She forced all us to pay right away and went up to my friends face and asked for her tip. My friend said "No tip since you were in my personal space and making me uncomfortable". He was so uncomfortable that he couldn't believe how rude she was to him and our whole table. i loved the entire experience from walking in to getting the check. the staff were so knowledgeable and patient with our barrage of questions. if doing hot pot, you select your broth, tom yum for me and szechuan for my husband. both were so good! then you order an unlimited amount of veggies and protein. the selection of food items to be added is a little daunting at first but it was all very tasty. my favorites were the black fungus mushroom, shumei, and sliced beef. we ordered a little at a time to prevent food waste (there a charge of $14/lb if there's excessive amounts of food leftover). i cannot wait until we can visit again. it'll definitely be worth the cost of the babysitter, haha. read more

I came in on Saturday 6/22 for the first time and my experience was horrible. The server (middle aged woman with red streaks in her hair) did not introduce herself nor was she friendly or welcoming. As soon as we sat down she asked us what we wanted. Yes, it's an all you can eat restaurant, but my friend and I would've still appreciated sometime to look over the menu. She left and came back with our waters, napkins, and straws. She tossed the napkins on the table and rudely asked if we were ready. Once she took our orders she grabbed all of the menus and when my friend asked to get the drink and food menu she sat the menus on the booth chair next to him and walked away!!! When the hostesses would come by to refill our waters we would say thank you she wouldn't speak and would just walk away. People would come by to grab our empty trays again we'd say thank you or thank you very much; silence. There was also hair in my food. This was not a pleasant experience in the slightest. read more
