Fun little Asian chain restaurant. I have seen these around but never eaten a one. Went for a late lunch and it was easy. Pick you item, if you want protein, veggies, and sauce. We found nearby street parking but there is also garages nearby. It is in the University District so I imagine the time of day and day you go could limit parking options, but that is based on what I saw not living in the area. So for the food, definitely would eat here again and liked the noodle bowl with spicy chicken. I had sweet potato noodles as my base, with potatoes, red cabbage, corn, sea sesame kale, cheese, spicy chicken, with Yum Yum sauce. It was fresh and delicious. Drinks have free refills.

How disappointing to come home only to find out that both bowls I ordered online were made without the rice bases. What's wild is that upon arrival, my husband had to wait for steak. Yet nobody thought to mention that they were out of the turmeric rice we ordered. I would've gladly took something else, but instead I got two half full bowls that I paid full price for. Now I'm home cooking my own rice! Smh!!

New to BIBIBOP. I have seen them around, but I finally stopped and got some takeaway. I was not disappointed. I am going to assume it's as healthy as it looks, colored veggies, tender protein, tasty sauce, and calories ( I know, but you need to know). Excellent taste. I had the steak bowl, which provided me with 2 meals, they do offer a smaller bowl. Looks like a Monday place for sure, when the local, small places are closed, or any day of the week.

We arrived in town, pre-concert, and wanted to find something healthy and satisfying ~ quickly. We downloaded the app and ordered dinner. The estimated time was 10 to 15 minutes. When we arrived early, they were finishing up our order! We were thrilled with the tasty and fresh quality of our meals. ***We plan to look for other locations when we travel for tennis tournaments ~ always looking for quick and healthy options!

I went thinking it was a full restaurant serving bibibop. It is actually a fast casual similar on style to a chipotle. Ingredients were very fresh and I had the spicy beef. Broccoli was cooked perfect with a bite, not limp and old. Everything was hot. The restaurant looked very clean and modern with good energy

Filled to the brim. Wasteful but looked good when I opened it.

Awe man I really wanted to like this place. The food was bland, maybe turning rotten in one case and sauces were wet skimpy (Doordash'ed). Pro-ish - A lot of food for an affordable price. Although, I've worked in food service ans the gave me literally 1.5 cups of rice EASY. Really wasteful. - The sauce I did get was tasty - Tea was tasty as well! Cons - Very little protein - Sauces were about a teaspoon and a half per serving. I ordered extra bc I never tried it before and it wasn't included. - My potatoes were a gross color. They were grey and off. Potatoes are tricky as they can turn but these were cooked. Not sure if they were going bad before or after cooking but they were not appetizing at all I would not go back.

This is a great healthy lunch or dinner option in Cleveland. It is located on the Case Western Reserve University campus in the University Circle neighbourhood. This area of Euclid Ave. is filled with new apartment buildings and plenty of food options. I first visited Bibibop in Columbus (Ohio) about 3 years ago when my mom got some free food at an event and told me about the purple rice. I was intrigued about the purple rice but ended up loving what I tasted. FOOD -- Super fresh and delicious. Everything comes in a small or large bowl. You first choose a base (greens such as lettuce or mixed greens, white rice, purple rice, or noodles). Then you pick hot toppings, a protein, and finally a sauce. The hot toppings are potatoes, bean sprouts, or black beans. Protein options are tofu, chicken, spicy chicken, and steak. There are also cold topping options such as kale, carrots, corn, etc. I came here before a Yelp event on 14 March 2019 and I arrived with fellow Yelper (Ilona P.) around 6:10pm. I ordered a small rice bowl with spicy chicken. I added cold toppings - corn, red cabbage, kimchi, kale, cucumbers, and carrots to my bowl. I enjoyed my dinner and appreciate that I could add as many toppings as I wanted without getting charged extra. I got some sauces on the side but they can add the sauces for you as well as you order. FREE MISO SOUP is given with every meal. All you do is grab some soup located at the end of the checkout counter. FOOD TYPE -- Alot of comments seem to be sensitive or angry that this place doesn't have authentic Korean food. Personally, in my opinion, I don't think this is meant to be authentic Korean food but I don't care too much because the food to me is delicious. I believe the owner created Bibibop as a quick and healthy food option that slightly mimics Korean food. There is nothing wrong with this food concept since so many other places have Westernised their food types to appeal to consumers - examples include Chipotle (Mexican), Piada Street Food (Italian), and Panda Express (Chinese). PRICE -- A large bowl is $7.49 and a small bowl is $6.49. The price is fair considering all the toppings that can be added to your bowl. SERVICE -- The employees I encountered were nice and fast in serving my bowl. The food here is tasty and super fresh. They serve nothing new or spectacular but I still love it. It is similar to Chipotle but about $1 cheaper than Chipotle and they offer more vegetables than Chipotle. I will be back and I recommend you visit. *** - 45 total reviews in 2019 - 254 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 15 March 2019

I am inspired by the manager here who made my day after I made a mistake in my order for delivery. THANK YOU. YOU DESERVE A RAISE. Mix purple rice and noodles as the base. Thank you to my roommate who taught me this BIBIBOP hack. I always get the tofu bowls and WILL BE coming back. They real good. As you can see, they are also loaded with the toppings. Great because you can make it as healthy or saucy/saturated as you please.

Not a bad spot at all. This was also super affordable, given how generous the workers were when building my bowl. BIBIBOP is close to UCity, which is nice if you're living near CRWU. I wanted something healthier for dinner while I was staying nearby Cleveland Clinic, so I didn't mind walking down here to pick up some food. BIBIBOP's menu is definitely Korean-influenced, the concept being that you get to create your own bibimbop bowl. Some of the food items are non-traditional (for instance, the black beans and kale), but I was impressed that the flavors of sesame oil and gochujang were actually spot-on. I decided to include in my bowl a mixed green base, spicy chicken, potatoes, bean sprouts, kimchi, kale, carrots, egg, cucumber, and yum yum sauce. I loved that they didn't charge extra, even though I asked for extras on some of my toppings. I also liked that I paid only $7 for my entire meal. The only *very minor* criticism I have is that BIBIBOP would not be a great place for me if I'm in the mood for authentic Korean food. Otherwise, I actually liked my meal a lot. Now I wish they had a place back in San Francisco (which is where I'm originally from).

I ordered a takeout order and found what looked like a piece of yarn in my bowl. The steak is also really tough, so I wouldn't recommend it.

I have been lucky enough to eat at some amazing restaurants in North America and throughout Europe…read more I really wanted to leave a great review for this local restaurant... I really wanted to. Since a number of our friends have been to this establishment and left great reviews, I really wanted to do the same. I really wanted to. However, I'm struggling to do so. It started with our table not being ready yet, no worries there, we understand. The host took us to a lovely little alcove and sat the four of us down and we were quickly approached by the Sommelier. This establishment obviously takes their wine very seriously, almost to the point of being pretentious. But not all of us are wine drinkers. Due to an allergy to sulfites. When we looked at the list of available mixed drinks, nothing really appealed... So my wife asked for a simple vodka and tonic. She was informed that that was not one of the "APPROVED" drinks that they offered. What !?! They have vodka, they have tonic... Why can't we get what we want? When my friend requested an IPA he was informed that IPAs don't pair well with the food offerings, consequently, they do not have that option. Frankly, shouldn't that be HIS decision what he feels pairs with HIS palette and not the restaurants? Just a bit pretentious. Did I mention I really wanted to write a great review? So we sucked it up and ordered two glasses of overpriced white wine ($18 for a glass of mediocre wine) and two of the "approved" drinks offered. At this point, I'd like to state that the service we received other than the initial pretension exhibited by the wine Sommelier, was amazing. Our waiter was attentive and well trained and the support staff made sure that our water glasses were filled. Thankfully, I can leave a great review with regards to them. Now to the food... the dumpling sampler was delicious. The four of us ordered the ribs, the duck, the beef and I ordered the Dan Dan noodles. Honestly, almost all of the dishes were deliciously prepared, albeit a bit modest on the quantity of food presented. Our waiter initially suggested that these could be shared... I'm not sure how we would do that with the smaller plates offered as entrées. My noodles, however, came out as a solid chunk of over microwaved noodles, the kind that you get if you forget to take your Costco ramen out of the microwave in time. It was a solid block of dried out noodles. I was about to call our waiter over and ask that they give it another shot. When out of the corner of my eye I saw my wife giving me "the look", don't make it a thing her eyes said to me. So I took my chopsticks and pried the noodles apart, and tried to mix them with the sauce as best as I could. So to summarize; *A little too pretentious on the whole drink thing. I think they're trying too hard. *Service was great *Three out of four entrees were a success * $17 for a mixed drink is pricey but doable, $18 for mediocre wine not so much. As I mentioned, I really wanted to leave a good review... sadly other than the waiter and the support staff I find it difficult to do. Thank you

The General Tso chicken was a letdown across the board. No heat, barely any sauce, and the lightly steam broccoli came out cold and wet, which made my crispy chicken a soggy lukewarm mess. That's a fundamental execution issue. A friend ordered the ramen and had it worse -- crunchy noodles and a cold soup base. Cold ramen broth isn't a style choice, it's a mistake. Front of house compounded the experience. Slow, visibly uncertain, and in clear need of training. You can tell the staff wants to do well but hasn't been given the tools to get there. That's a management problem. The bones of a decent restaurant are here.
