The menu was vast with multiple options and the food was very tasty. I was too full to try the pies, cobblers or cakes but if I'm back in Tulsa I will definitely give it a try. Useful tips: Parking wasn't bad at all as it's located in a strip mall area and getting in and out was easy. I will say if you like floppier bacon make sure to tell your server as it was crispy (still good). The bathrooms were small but that was not unexpected because it's a small diner. Only one person can go in at a time. Final: I can see why Lilly's has great reviews it's a very good diner experience, good portions and good service. I will be back.

We were the only ones there cause it was close to closing time which the made the service much better, as they were able to tend to our needs. I enjoy eating there and I especially ove being able to see the golf course during the day when I'm there for breakfast or lunch. If you haven't been, make the trip and enjoy the scenery!

The dining area was clean and comfortably cool on a hot June Sunday afternoon. The view of the golf course was pastoral. The burger itself was quite good with juicy flavorful meat. The fries were adequate if a bit salt. The Sunday brunch menu was somewhat limited but definitely recommend Rocking R for a pleasant meal.

We went on a Thursday afternoon at 4:00, so we didn't expect it to be busy. There were a few people there but not a bunch. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and shown to a booth. Our waitress brought our menus and silverware right behind the hostess. She asked if we knew what we wanted to drink and I ordered Decaf Coffee. My wife deferred to later once she knew what she was going to eat. The coffee arrived a few minutes later and I placed my order for the Belgian Waffle, 2 eggs scrambled, Hash Browns, and 2 Sausage Links. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict and a side of biscuits and gravy and regular coffee. First before I forget, I am somewhat of a portly fellow. I carry about 70 pounds more than my doctor likes, and it's all right above my belt. Remember that the hostess put us in a booth, which usually is a challenge for me, because of my extra tire that I carry. But I was pleasantly surprised that this booth was spacious. It had plenty of room for us extra large folks without trying to move the table. The coffee, was good. Remember that I drink decaf coffee, so when I say it was good, thats saying a lot. I even asked the waitress if she had forgotten and brought me regular coffee and she assured me it was decaf. When the food arrived, I was so impressed by how good it looked, I forgot to take a photo, so the attached photo shows what was left when I was full. The waffle was the main thing I was after. I love waffles, and it's hard to find a good waffle. The menu claims they are Belgian Waffles, and I cannot disagree. They tasted like the Belgian Waffles I had in Paris, so I believe they are. The has browns normally don't rate a mention, but these hash browns were soft and not crunchy, and tasted like I expected hash browns to taste, from the first bite to the last. The eggs were scrambled well, which I would have preferred loose, but that's my fault for not specifying. I also ordered link sausage which was cooked as it should be. Next time I'll order bacon. The reason I avoided the bacon is that most places either burn it or leave it partially raw. Based on how the rest of my meal was cooked, I expect the bacon will be cooked right. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

At the end of dinner we were just sitting and talking as usual and one of the waitresses motioned me over to where she and another were standing and proceeded to tell how much they enjoy me and one of the other people with me but the other person doesn't ever tip when he pays and if that continues none of the waitresses is gonna want to wait on our table. I was just dumbfounded that they had the audacity to tell me this to my face about my family. Who does that. I was so pissed off and couldn't even say anything. Right or wrong about tipping, it is not a requirement and threatening someone with service orcnot if don't tip can not be good for buisness. We have been coming to Apple barrel every week for 6 months since the day my mom passed away and it alway been comfort too us , but now i am just sad.
