    Mango stick rice
    Elizabeth V.

Always our go-to spot for Thai food! This time we decided to try something new and ordered the Ono Thai Chicken Basil, requested non-spicy. Of course, the Thai Fried Chicken is a must every time we order--it never disappoints. The Pad Thai was flavorful, though the beef was a bit tough, so next time I'll go with a different protein. I'd also been craving mango sticky rice and was pleasantly surprised they had it, even though it's not listed on the menu (just pictured). Service is consistently great here. I called in the order, and it was ready in about 20 minutes, just as promised. The restaurant was bustling, which is always nice to see for this hidden gem!

Not sure what happened but the quality of this place has gone down within the past year. I had shrimp tom yum a few weeks ago and there were only 4 pieces of shrimp. I ordered a papaya salad for dinner last night and when I got home and started eating it I noticed there was no heat because they didn't add chili peppers. The saddest part were the tomato slices they used. It's like they took all the rubbish parts and added it to my plate. The food here used to be great. I want to see this place succeed so do better Ono Thai.

Seriously, why is this place so good? Hidden in a small corner in Ewa, it's truly a gem! My hubby likes this pork with basil plate with fried egg on top, his favorite. My friend recommended the fried chicken and oh my goodness it's amazing and the damn plate is huge! I do go for the salads and noodles too. Can't go wrong. Everything is delicious.

Our go to Thai place located in Ewa beach. Usually it's busy but we walked in on a Saturday night and not one table was taken but so many take out orders and the phone kept going off to place more orders. The food is so good, our regular order is Thai fried chicken (so crispy), papaya salad (so refreshing), chicken pad Thai, chicken green curry with sticky rice.

I am back, back again! Visiting my dad and picking up my son to go home to SJ. I always have to make a stop here no matter what. My dad and step mom order their regulars, seafood green curry and chicken basil. Today my son wanted some pad Thai but my "go to" is their pad ki maow with pork. Love all that gravy and their quality of the food is amazing. So fresh and is authentic. Service is so nice upon entering the restaurant. I love that they play videos of food while enjoying my meal too. Coming back in October again so this time i am bringing the whole gang with me.

Female hostess and server happily welcomed and offered us to sit at any four top seater in the restaurant. She also mentioned, "You've come to the right place today." We sat at a four seater closest to the wall. Two observations was we're not offered a spice level when same server took our order. There's also no indication of spice level or preference on the menu. Go all in! Ingredients in summer rolls a.k.a Poh Pia Sod tasted very fresh and wrapped tightly in rice paper. Peanut dipping sauce was served slightly cold. Prefer to have it served warm. Thai Fried Chicken "Gai Tod" was plentiful. Crunchy batter tasted yummy! One of chicken pieces attached to a bone was on the drier side. Needed Thai sweet chili sauce to balance the dryness. Another piece without the bone tasted moist. Stir fried ingredients of Beef Pad King complemented each other; however, taste of gravy reminded me of beef broccoli. Squeezed the lime over Chicken Pad Thai. Noodles appeared and tasted more on the wet side. Chicken and tofu complemented the moisture in this entree. Our fave was the Beef Pannang which delivered a medium spice level. We loved the delicious combination of coconut milk, curry, and peanuts. Generous servings of tender beef slices, long green beans, bell peppers, and onions. Curry soaked up nicely and integrated well with white rice. Same server checked on us a few times to see how our food tasted, ensured that carafe was refilled with water, we had enough napkins, and cleared our plates in a timely manner. She also brought out a few to go containers. There's free parking in shared lot and one restroom in the restaurant.

A hole in the wall Thai restaurant tucked in Ewa beach. Has a very "homey" feel when you walk in. Came here to eat lunch with my cousin. It wasn't busy so we were seated right away. The dining space is actually huge compared to other Thai restaurants. They also had 2 tvs constantly playing in the background, very nice for entertaining customers that are waiting for their food. I noticed that there was a lot of to-go customers picking up their orders so that's a nice sign that this place is good. A few things we ordered on the menu: Curry noodles (5/5): Pad Thai style noodles with a rich creamy curry sauce! My first time ever trying this dish and it was sooo flavorful and good. I def recommend this dish! I don't see it too often on the menu at the other locations. Tom Kha (3/5): It was more on the tarty sour soup. It was flooded with lots of veggies which I like. But wish it had more coconut milk and was more creamy. Papaya salad Laos style medium (4/5): You can never go wrong with papaya salad. Definitely a Thai/Lao staple and one of my favorite dishes! I love how it came with crunchy lettuce & cabbage. I wish it had a bit more spice to it, as I like my food spicy. But overall, it was good! Thai fried chicken (5/5): They gave a GENEROUS amount of fried chicken! Enough to feed 4 people, it was sooo crunchy and good. Love this! Overall, this place definitely is ONO THAI food! I can't wait to visit again.

Panang curry - a little heat but not over powering flavor.

Are they open on Sundays? They were closed last Sunday and no one is answering the phone today also.

I walked past there today and they posted a sign on the door. they're actually closed for renovations till May 4.

    Do they have a vegan/vegetarian dishes/menu?

Their items can be modified vegetarian. We get tofu instead of the meat in their curry and noodle dishes. We always get the pineapple fried rice w/tofu! They also have veggie dishes. As for vegan, they'll advise you if a dish can be made vegan… Read more

First, found the restaurant tooked into the corner next to Buffalo Wild Wings. Upon entering, the restaurant has a great upscale atmosphere with outdoor seating. A few bar seating up front as you wait to be seated. But during this weekday lunch, there was just one other family seated. Service was quick as I already knew what I wanted. Possibly because of its upscale vibe, prices are $6 -$7 more than other places. Food was tasty. Portions are large and so I was able to take home my leftovers. Bathroom is nice and clean. The only thing is that there's a large frosted Pictor window making the restroom really warm and muggy. I would recommend this place, but not for everyday dining due to the higher end price.

Other Thai restaurants pack their curry with filler, but this place doesn't! Their curry is the absolute best and their staff are always welcoming snd friendly. I would just go here for the great food alone, but the great staff makes it with an easy 5 stars. Parking is a little rough here, but that's because people are always eating here so you may need to pack a little far away. There is only one handicap stall, and so be ready to walk a little. Pricing is fair. Things have definitely gone up, but if you want cheap Thai food you won't get this kind of quality. I easily spend $50 to $100 on two people when I eat here so it's more of a treat and not an every day meal. It's great food and so I only get to treat myself when I can afford it. We can't live in luxury every day, and this Thai food is definitely a luxury! It has been so difficult to find one as perfect as they were. So, we are very well experienced in Thai food even in Thailand multiple times. Ordered green chicken curry, Pad Si-Eiw, spring rolls, rice. The spring rolls were good, lettuce leaves were tiny but fresh, dipping sauce was great too. The green curry was so awful tasting that we didn't eat it. I've never had green curry that didn't even taste like thai green curry like this. Not sure if fill in cook at lunchtime or what but it didn't even have coconut cream in the sauce. Had to take home to fix this problem, worst ever and would never recommend. Same with the Pad Si-Ew. Totally flavorless! You could tell they just threw it together with precooked pork, precooked broccoli, and tossed it onto the noodles barely fried in a dead sauce of nothing. Another total failure. Do not recommend this or any if this is how they prepare their food. Rice was standard. Will never return to this location again. Can't imagine where or how the good reviews came from but from our experience, they weren't even close.
