    $19 paper plate breakfast special
    Mike B.

Been wanting to stop in and try this place for awhile and I wish I hadn't, the service was pleasant and the view was great but that was about it. I had the protein burger and fries and when I say it tasted like old grease that's an understatement. The egg was like rubber and there was one strip of bacon on the burger. Also the burger wasn't fresh, it was from frozen and had a nasty aftertaste for $18 bucks. The fries were frozen not fresh and dripping in oil with a nasty bitter aftertaste as well. My wife had the breakfast which was almost $19 on a paper plate with plastic utensils and was not even edible. Also why do you not have fresh syrup at that price? Again the eggs were overcooked and the waffles were burnt and very heavy and starchy. The home fries were again from frozen and dripping in oil. It's a shame that this place is charging this much for what they are serving, I could honestly get a better meal at McDonalds for less money. This place is definitely not worth what they charge!

Fried Pickles. Came with 5 spears but the last 2 were a joke.

Waited 15 minutes in line for the owner to tell us he was too busy to put a pie in the oven...he was just selling slices like a NYC pie guy. The restaurant didn't even appear to be at 50% capacity. We went home since our family is local and ordered via DoorDash instead and guess what...the owner was able to fire up the pizza oven. We have family that lives a mile down the road and we visit frequently and used to love to get their sandwiches and breakfast burritos. Truly disappointed after this last visit and will stop giving our local business to this guy...the fried pickles we ordered on top of the pizza via DoorDash were terrible. If you can't fire up a pie after someone has been waiting in line for 15 minutes then take pizza off your menu or notify your customers ahead of time that you're a slice only business...Sort of funny since you don't offer slice only orders on your website, just pies. This business has too many menu options to be effective and probably shame on me for giving them another chance.

I got a chance to go out to Onset Beach to a Cape Verdean festival that was in the area. After I left the festival, I walked across the street from the park to the Onset Beach Patio and Grill restaurant. I ordered a lobster roll, which came with fries or onion rings, and coleslaw. I asked the guy taking my order at the counter about the onion rings or if I should just get the fries. He told me that they make their own onion rings in house. One thing about me, is that I love, love, love, some good onion rings. The food came out quickly while I was sitting out on the patio, watching all the activity and the tour boats filling up with people. As soon as I got my food, the first thing that I did was try the onion rings because honestly I expected to be disappointed. I must admit that I was wonderfully surprised with your onion rings. I will go so far to say that these are the best onion rings I have ever had in a very long time. So that would be at least 15 years or more. I am guessing that most restaurants find it easier to order onion rings from their supplier versus making them in-house. But that was not the case here. The lobster roll was very good. I got it warm with drawn butter. The taste was very comparable and delicious to other lobster rolls that I have had in the New England area. I love the consistency, so nothing negative to say about that. The only thing about the lobster roll is it seemed to have a little bit less meat on it than what Ive had at other restaurants that I have been to across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Maine. But still very good. The coleslaw was good. I tasted it and had a few bites even though I do not really like coleslaw. But it was very tasty. The bathrooms were very clean, but the only thing that I noticed was that the air dryer for your hands did not seem to work when I put them underneath it. It could've been user error but I'm not sure. I will definitely be back!!!

People with celiac disease beware!!! They advertise gluten-free pizza options but they are not gluten free by any means. I saw they had a meat lovers Pizza so I figured im safe with the hamburger considering it's one of the gluten-free options on their menu. I ordered a gluten-free pizza with bacon and hamburger. When the pizza arrived I realized that there was some sort of bread crumbs mixed in with the hamburger so I asked if it had gluten-free bread crumbs and I was told no. I was then offered a salad and I declined and asked for a bacon and cheese gluten-free pizza I was then told I would be charged for it and this is all home made food not frozen... LOL LOL I let him know he has false advertisement and I wouldn't have ordered the hamburger if it wasn't already on the menu as he gluten-free pizza. He refused to make the pizza but gave me my money back and treated me like it was my fault What sense does that even make... zero! Only reason I came to this place was because I typed in gluten free pizza. Ps prices are pretty expensive for under mediocre food. Dont waste your time if you are celiac. Edit:What the FDA says about gluten-free claims and restaurants: "If restaurants or other retail food establishments wish to make "gluten-free" claims (or the synonymous claims "no gluten" "free of gluten" or "without gluten") for any of their menu items, these foods should meet all of the requirements FDA has established

Lobster quesadillas are delicious!! Filled with plump and juicy lobster! The fish and chips were very good! Haddock was the fish and it was crispy fried to perfection, not greasy at all! Super friendly and great service! Highly recommended!!

We got the hot lobster roll and haddock sandwich. Both the dishes were excellent. The lobster roll came with plenty of lobster meat and was very satisfying. The haddock sandwich was filling and was of decent portion size. The view from the restaurant was pretty nice and we enjoyed our experience. Our recommendations- Lobster Roll Bang Bang sandwich

Now they are staying open later in the season and we are SOOOOO happy! This place ROCKS! Cute little place, love the outside deck, but let's get real, it's all about the food! We've been twice now. I got the small (yeah, right) lobster roll and clam chowder combo both times I came. FIrst, I don't know who can eat the Monsta one, not I. The "small" is bigger than anyone else's I've seen. If you look closely at the last pic I posted of the lobster roll, there is an ENTIRE lobster in there. There is a full, uncut lobster tail, and two full, uncut claws, and a ton of other meat around it. Full lobster kids. The grill on the bun is perfect. While the bun is hot, the lobster itself is served cold and undressed, but with warm drawn butter on the side. MMmmmmmmmm. It's my fav lobster roll hands down. Both times I've had a few of the raw littlenecks. So good. Also last time, the BF went with me and he had the Cuban sandwich, as he is not a fan of clams or lobster (I know, and I stay with him anyway). This Cubano was INSANE good! I had a couple bites. We both love a Cubano, and this is probably the best one either of us have ever had. Great bread, and it's HUGE! All in all, great place, great food, great vibe, friendly peeps. Can't wait til next September! Woohoo!

Well my husband did go ahead and eat it- but nothing to write home about. The fried food-fries & quahogs - never had a bad one at the Falmouth location. The Mai Tai was completely watered down, but talking amount of alcohol-I prefer a drink that isn't too heavy in booze, but the juice/mixer was like so filtered it wasn't even good. We were really looking forward to coming to his Onset location for lunch, been eating at Quahog Republic since Mashnee Island- I go back to the days of The Dr. Flynn Mai Tai- this meal and the drinks may fly for tourists, but this local is NOT COMING BACK. Addendum: because my husband sent his quahog back, because our quahogs were SUPER GREASY & I sent my chowder back to be warmed up (because it arrived tepid) - the waitress pro-actively took the Quahogs off the bill & my chowder. We didn't actually, "complain " about anything, just those 2 things-the rest we didn't say a thing, it wouldn't change a thing, if we had. We didn't go to the Quahog Republic for free food in a nice waterfront setting- we went there for the good food we have become accustomed to from The Quahog Republic & sadly the food & cocktails seem to have gone down hill. Looks like we will be sticking to the location in Falmouth- they haven't let is down, yet.

Not only is the setting home-y, but the staff is all very kind and quick to greet guests. The good old home feel doesn't stop with the setting or service, but it carries through to the food as well. The food comes out looking like a true, delicious, home-cooked meal with the flavor to back it up! For an appetizer I ordered the Charlie's Chowder, which is the best chowder I've ever had, in New England or otherwise. It comes packed with scallops, lobster, and cod, and is absolutely to die for. For my main course, I ordered the Lemon Caper Cod, which was also wonderful. The piece of cod is huge, and is served with a bed of rice, seasonal veggies (mine were carrots) and, of course, capers. The fish was tender and cooked to perfection and, while I'm not typically a huge carrot fan, the steamed carrots they made were sweet and tasty! If I knew how they make them I'd become a much bigger fan of carrots. From start to finish, everything about this place is top notch! A definite must try!

The clam chowder they offer is fantastic, and the lobster roll kits they have available are as fresh as they get and are very reasonable priced at $18.99 What great about the lobster roll kits for me is it has all the lobster parts, not just the claws and knuckles which I find kind of boring.
