It's ok food, but some things could be improved. It was made fresh, which was both a positive and a negative since my broccoli was still fresh and crunchy. Not al dente, but with a noise when I bit into it. Not bad since I like raw broccoli, but not really what I ordered. The decor is what I'd call upscaled fast food. Counter service is the rule here, but you can sit down at a fast food table with a table cloth on it. There was a peculiar odor that I could not place and it wasn't entirely pleasant. Yummy food at a fair price. After some marathon shopping at nearby Ontario Mills, we pulled this restaurant up on Yelp. I was starting to feel sick and knew I needed something to help me get over the cold. We were quickly seated and given menus. All of the favorite Thai favorites are on the menu. We got the Tom Kha Gha (sorry for my spelling), the spicy chicken and coconut milk broth soup. That soup combined with their assortment of hot sauces and spicy pickled peppers were excellent. It opened up my sinuses and I started being able to breathe. For my entree, I got the Pumpkin Curry with Fried Tofu. My partner got a Duck Curry. We shared pineapple fried rice. Everything was super yummy!!! We had enough for leftovers to take back to our hotel. This made an excellent second meal also! Definitely can recommend this place. I bought food here today and I promptly got sick. Food poisoning!!! Also the customer service esx terrible. I asked for utensils for my food I was give a spoon, instead of a fork in my to go order. Plenty of parking in the main parking lot. The restaurant is very small; offering maybe 10 small tables. Seemed busy, almost full, so that was a good sign! Menu has most of the traditional foods you would find in an average Thai restaurant, and the prices are decent. Portions seem to be big enough to fill an average hungry person. Staff is very small, so you will wait a while for your food.. But the lady was very kind and pleasing. Exceppent service - Thank you! One of my favorite dishes, except the curries, is Pad Thai. Many Thai restaurants are very disappointing with this dish, as its usually too sweey and mushy... Here they got it just right! I had mine with extra beef added for 2$. The beef was a but chewy, but still tasted good. The place is clean, and so is the restroom - a good sign for a clean kitchen. I felt good and welcomed, and enjoyed my food! Its hard to find in these areas a good Thai restaurant. This one is nothing too fancy or big, and I probably wouldnt take my date here, nor come with many friends, but its an excellent choice for a sole lunch needs. We love curry.. the yellow curry from this restaurant is Amazing! Very flavorful with the right amount of throat punch. The noodles were also made to perfection. Really really really good Thai food. We ordered the shrimp pad Thai, the seafood soup and the Hawaiian fried rice. The pad Thai was delicious. The noodles were cooked to perfection and it had the right amount of tamarind sauce. The portion was good although it only had 6 shrimps. My husband ordered the seafood soup in medium spicy. He loved it and said it was spicy enough. The color looked weird but he said not to be deceived by it as it was one of the best ones he's ever had. We also ordered the Hawaiian rice which was good. I was expecting more flavor but it was good. It had a lot of pineapple and not too much protein lol. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very nice and she had the biggest smile. I was able to look into the kitchen and I saw the cook had a mask on her mouth, gloves and a hair net. I'm not sure if that's the practice or if she was sick but either way I was pleased to see that. I ordered the young coconut juice but was told it was from a Can so I said nvm. Also their sodas are not fountain drinks, they are actually can sodas so there's no refills. My facility orders food from this place everyday for our physician's. The food is fresh and taste very good. We yesterday one of our providers found a molar crown in her yellow curry ...... Yuck, no one should eat there. Everyone was discussed, no one could eat there food, those who didn't get the Curry threw there food away. Our Material manager returned the tooth and ask for a refund. When asked who was missing a tooth they claimed no one missing a tooth, and that they get there curry from another place. Don't eat at Ontar Thai restaurant. read more

It's the kind of service you expect from a mom and pop kind of place. The order was ready when I got to the store and as promised within 10 minutes noted on the phone. This is still my go to Thai restaurant. It is so convenient with lovely people. The Pad Thai doesn't have peanuts to ruin the velvety texture of the noodles. I also like that I'm able to add extra vegetables to make myself feel less guilty for eating it all in one sitting. A few months ago, I moved from West Los Angeles to Ontario. One of my favorite cuisines is Thai food. I use to get it homemade from a friend who is an excellent cook. I went to another place before Ontario Thai and found it to be lacking. Ontario Thai, however is the best most authentic Thai food that I have found in Ontario. I've eaten there about 7 times already. You get a very good sized portion so you are never hungry after.
