Food is awesome here but service is another story. I ordered some food with credit card after she swipe my card she handed someone else's credit card...... I told her it's not my card and gave back to the cashier. I was lucky there weren't many ppl there, what if the cashier give my credit card to someone else. It closes at 9 and we arrived at 8:30. We wanted to sit down at eat but she basically pressured us into getting to go since they were 'closing soon.' Really neat Thai restaurant off the 10 freeway. I usually order the combination fried rice or the pad see eew "drunken noodle" with chicken and beef. Food is not that oily if at all. Not a lot salt or soy. The only drawback is that it's usually crowded so if you want take out I recommend calling ahead. read more

Finally, a great Thai restaurant in Ontario. Found this gem while working my part time job. Now as you know I have a speciality when it comes to Thai cuisine. I have been eating this great cuisine for over 14 years and I consider myself a knowledgeable person on this magnificent cuisine. Anyway back to this great little Thai cafe. I have eaten here over 10 times and can say consistently the food is on point. The appetizers are great such as the Pork egg rolls, nicely deepfriend and served with a nice sweet chili sauce. The rolls have a nice flavor to them with the fresh cabbage and carrot, not to mention PORK. Alot of other Thai places don't put meat in them, and this is a welcome addition. Also the deep fried wonton with chicken, Yummy and so flavorful. Also had the Chicken Satay, excellent but they don't include the piece of white bread toast that is traditional in Thailand. Also I forgot to mention the Laab mu Pork Salad, very tasty and refreshing with the lettuce. You can make like a wrap with them. You have to specify you want lettuce as they will give you cabbage. Anyway, nicely spiced with chili, red onion, fried rice powder, lime juice and fresh mint. I also have had their pork chow mein. A great choice and they use the thin Chinese style noodles, not he spaghetti size you get in most Chinse places. Nice chunks of roasted pork, cabbage, onion, green onion. Also the Yellow Chicken Curry is to die for. Nice pieces of sliced chicken in a yellow curry sauce with potato. Man the sauce is heaven. I have also had Kai Ga Prow which is chicken (sliced) but I order it ground with Thai basil, onions, chili, garlic in a wonderful brown sauce. This is by far my most favorite Thai dish to order and if a restaraunt does good with this you know you found a gem. The Thai fried fice is another good choice too. Only thing so far, no Thai beer Sinha or Chang to go with this spicy cuisine. Hopefully they will get a liquor license someday. As for the service, they take care of you promptly, though one time a large part of 10 caused them to miss one person in our party, but sometimes that happens. I do hope they expand their lunch selection to include some type of lunch spcial. We will see. I love this place and can't wait to go back again. I also forgot to mention that they actually have on the tables the Phik nam pla with is the Thai Fish sauce with hot Thai chili, this is another good sign that they are doing authentic Thai, I eat bowls of this stuff. My wife said the other day that I must be lying that I can't be Greek and Croatian as I have to be part Thai. You know she might be right as I eat Thai 2-3 times a week for he last 14 years. pad thai is not good here, it is very plain, they just add meat, 2 pieces of tiny green onion and bean sprouts! WTF im used to getting it garnished with peanuts, shredded cabbage, loads of green onion and shredded carrots. I will never order the pad thai from here again. Horrible experience!!! I ordered shrimp pad Thai to go since it was late. When I got home I found out that they had given me chicken fried rice. I was so hungry I ate it. I called them the next day to tell them about it and the lady that had taken my order insisted that they had done it right, and after going back and forth for a while asking them to make it right. They refused and insisted that They right. Most restaurants would have no problem with making things right in order to keep a customer happy. What's more, they wanted to see the food!!! What restaurant does that?!?!? My friend who was also with me and ordered something found out that they had also given her the wrong order. Based on this one experience I strongly recommend that youbdont go there. Besides the food wasn't all that great anyway. Would rate it 0 star but I don't have an option to do so. Now you have lost 2 customers for life ONTAR. Way to go. I hope you go out of business for being so cheap. read more

We ordered takeout on a Friday evening and this is what we ordered: Beef jerky Chicken Satay Beef pad see ew Chicken pad Thai Beef Panang Chicken yellow curry Every dish was below average!:( the beef jerky had good flavor but meat was tough. Chicken satay was very average--no grill marks like most places. My fav dish beef pad see ew, noodles too chewy, beef tough and over seasoned and greasy. Chicken pad Thai noodles were fine and flavor was good but no crushed peanuts on top and bean sprouts were soggy!:( the Beef Panang again meat was tough! Finally chicken yellow curry was ok --good flavor but very small serving! The noodles dishes were large and nice size but not much meat and WHERE ARE ALL THE VEGETABLES???? None of the dishes tasted fresh! It was like they used leftover old meat! I guess that's why it's so cheap! You get what you pay for! The menu is very limited---where's the Panang chicken option???? I totally disagree with another review about how it's better than Green Mango ( yes definitely cheaper BUT at least the food was fresh and had fresh veges!!) I have tasted MUCH more authentic Thai food even on the Westside in Santa Monica! Do not waste your time or money going here! Cannot trust the majority of Yelp reviews for this place! The only positive is that the flavor of the food was good BUT HAVING TOUGH MEAT AND NO FRESH VEGES makes me feel like I'm eating at a Panda Express. First, the staff was very friendly. Very sweet woman. The food was delicious. It's a restively small place, but we went on a Thursday evening so there wasn't so many people. It looked clean. Service was fast. We got the number 16,18,19 I believe and they were all very good. The price was perfect as well. We paid $28 for three big plates of food and two drinks. The food here is amazing my family and i were addicted to this place a couple months back we had to cut back because we didn't want to get bored of it but its just soo good. There chow mien is real good the noodles are thin and taste real fresh. The fried rice is by far the best fried rice I've tasted and the fried shrimp OMG real good too.Ive never tasted egg rolls before so i can't compare them to anything else but these are pact with a lot of taste and are delicious. Unfortunately they don't deliver anymore but its understandable they're getting busier and its a small mom and pop sort of place. The employees are always so friendly and welcoming. I come here so often with my mom and my cousin that the waitresses know us. It's a small place but it is clean and nice inside. I always order pad thai, pad se ew, and thai ice tea. The pad se ew was delicious, pad Thai, was okay, and the beef jersey was... Different. I was going to give them 4 stars until one of the servers toddlers was running around the restaurant with shoes that squeaked with every. Single. Step. It was awful. Why would anyone buy shoes like that for their child? We were there in August and they were also playing Christmas music... Random. Great and friendly service, big portions of food, low price and it tastes delicious! Ontar thai restaurant is as good as it gets. The owner and his wife are very friendly and will explain what is in the food and help you decide what to get if you've never been there. The spot is very unnoticeable in a shopping center on the corner of Archibald and Inland Empire near the I-10 freeway, but don;t let looks deceive you because tucked away in this shopping center is a gem in disguise. The place is a little small but I have yet to see it packed and have always been able to get a seat right away. My girlfriend and I decided to try a something new so we decided to give this place a shot. We were truly surprised by how good the food and service was. I tried the Pad Kee Mow and boy was it delicious. My girlfriend got the Pad see ewe (hop i spelled that right). We were both stuffed and enjoyed our food very much. stopped here last night while on our way back to phoenix. wasnt expecting much because it was in an outlet/strip mall setup and has a walk up counter with pictures of menu items adorning the walls. ordered the coconut soup and drunken noodles (#17?) with beef. great flavor for both and super fast delivery despite a nearly packed dining room. no alcohol so that was a bit of let down but boyfriend and i were both impressed with the quick service and flavorful eats. it's not my all time favorite thai place but then again i dont live in cali and this place isn't reallyabout "fine dining". would definitely eat here again. a great late night fix for tasty thai. read more
