A place run by rude staff and unkempt with bad odor and dirty floors. Not going back On William street NYC

Terrible service The girl behind the counter was least INTRESTED in answering questions and was busy texting on her cell phone When I asked for the manager a man named William came out - not sure if that was his real name however he was inside in one of the back rooms and was very rude. In all the place had very poor management and had very dirty and unkempt floors Not going back.

You gotta be careful ordering from their buffet because they go by pound. The other hot food that you order from the guys are really good though. Like, I bought some bibimbap for 11 dollars and it got me full. It was really good and I loved the flavor of the beef.

Great place for a date or just to eat an shop around the neighborhood lov here an can't wait to taste the buffet style food ‼

This whole thing was $5.76 because I went in after 5PM. WHAT?!

Really not sure how this place has such low ratings. I eat here all the time. Come at 5pm for half off the sushi and hot bar. Roasted veggies and grilled salmon and allll the possible salad toppings. Once I walked in and there was a massive whole halibut that you can take pieces off of. The pics I'm posting are from different days. I'm gonna go again and take some more pics now that I know this place is so poorly rated lol

Amazing selection of breakfast & lunch! Convenient location, just a block away from Wall St station! The store is very spacious and comfortable with free Wifi :) The staff here are all friendly and welcoming! My favorite deli spot in Downtown NYC!

Chances are if you work in the area, then Open Market isn't so bad. If you're visiting--especially over the weekend--then I recommend searching for a different place to make your visit more worth it. Think of it as, would you go to Chipotle for lunch/dinner if you're visiting a new city? This is a convenient location with nearly anything your body could possibly be craving for, which also makes it a great place to hit up for lunch with co-workers. The food quality is basically what you can expect from a cafeteria so don't compare it to a restaurant. Prices are fair and if you come in after 5 PM then everything is half off.

What's there to say about Open Market? It's probably the best hot food/salad bar I've encountered, seeing how I've almost been going here exclusively whenever I buy lunch at work. I think it comes down to a good, wide selection that tastes fresh, well-made, and generally not too heavy/greasy. Give it a try! (Of course as other reviews have noted, there are so many other options here, too, but the cold/hot food bar is my go-to.) Docking a star because sometimes I see flies. Gross... but #letmelivetho.

This is a pretty decent buffet place for the neighborhood. Not a ton of seating during lunch hour, but a wide variety of food options. The grilled chicken plate is good! Tasty crispy chicken & sweet sautéed zucchinis.

A versatile lunch spot if you're not quite sure what you're feeling and down in FiDi. Selection and variety are the greatest assets of this place. You've got food ranging from your standard salad and hot food buffet bars, to deli sandwhiches and stir fry. Oh and word to the wise, this place gets busy during the lunch hour, so either go early or late if you want to avoid having to fight through the large droves of people. First time here I had a turky sandwhich, and it was like Thanksgiving! The turky was moist and not dry, had cranberry sauce, and the bread/vegtables were a good compliment to it all. The mainstay I have here is the stir fry for sure though. It's not the best of ingredients, and a little heavy on the soy sauce, but still solid for lunch at $8. The ramen is also solid enough, but nothing to write home about, I'd definitely get the stir fry if you're on the fence between the two.

$14.50 for a dry chicken cutlet with cheese on a roll, so upsetting it's hilarious lol. I'm almost sure the prices are made up as they go.

We were thrilled to find two seats at the end of the bar when we arrived. As luck would have it, the two gentlemen next to us eventually left, allowing us to slide over and enjoy an even better view of the TV for the rest of the game. I started with a Tito's and club soda, but unfortunately, something seemed off--perhaps the club soda was flat. The drink just wasn't good. To their credit, the bartender took it back without hesitation and was very accommodating. I then ordered a Negroni after the woman sitting next to us highly recommended it. I don't usually drink gin, but this cocktail was absolutely delicious and changed my mind. Since we were there for several hours, we shared an order of zucchini and eggplant chips and happily snacked on them throughout the game. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, with a nice mix of ages and people enjoying the evening. We made sure to leave our bartender a generous tip since we occupied our seats for the entire game. Even though the Knicks didn't pull out a win that night, we certainly didn't leave defeated. I'd happily return for another game, cocktail, and fun evening out. And maybe even get dinner there. Little did I know there was another big room in the ack once you past the restrooms. They were having a thriving business there!

He was constantly busy zippin around but maintained a nice demeanor and made everyone feel welcome! Must orders of mine: the burger! Although small, it comes out piping hot and the fresh white onion between the bottom bun and burger is awesome because it doesn't make the bottom bun soggy and catches all the juices from the actual meat. Love subbing the fries for a Caesar salad! Standout appetizer is the fried zucchini and eggplant with tzatziki-- crispy, hot, juicy and I get it every time!

Also, an obvious side note- You wonder how a place that's been open for, I believe, a year and a half has 1500 Google Reviews? It's because they give you a free soda if you write a 5-star review, so I guess if you have a palate for Polar sodas, you can give them a five on that site. If you're going to get anything, go for the tender combo, as their sliders, burgers, and buns are bad. Anyway, it's nice to find a Zabiha Halal spot that serves burgers and other American grub in this neighborhood. I used to frequent somewhat similar spots back in the Arabic neighborhood I lived near in Brooklyn, and it was nice to see this place open a while back. I have tried a handful of things here, and honestly, it's gotten worse every time. The first time, I got the tenders consisting of six pieces for $14, which is honestly very reasonable. The thinner pieces were a tad dry, as the batter had become overly fried, but it's hard to complain about the price point. They also came with a perfectly alright sauce called Mambo, which they list as spicy but is as hot as a spicy McNugget or similar with a light sweetness. The second time, I had the Slider Combo for $7.99, which came with two chicken sliders (spicy if wanted,) fries, and a Polar soda. The fries were honestly nice and better quality than those at any nearby fast-food place. The sliders were dreadful, however. They were dry with overly breaded chicken with no pickles or anything else to help, so I guess that's why it comes with a soda or water. This doesn't help the even worse bun, which was dry as well, and makes a Martin's potato roll look like a Rolls-Royce. The Polar drink was, as expected, a worse Diet Coke. The last time, and the last time I'll ever stop in here, I got the Classic Burger, which is their smash patty with American cheese, holy sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion. This was the worst burger I've had in ages and easily the worst smashburger, with the meat somehow being dry. I guess the bun was different as it was larger, but also as the top was charred better than the burger meat. Maybe the signature burger for $4 more is better, but I'm never going to stop for it if they're careless enough to burn a burger bun. 3 stars for the chicken tenders due to the deal. 2 stars for the slider combo, as the fries were decent. 0.5 stars for the burger. 2/5
