This is one of our regular burger spot for every time we are in NYC. Conveniently located. It's very juicy and the meat is very flavorful with the right amount of char! We always do take out as there is no place to sit and have it right there. Burgers are small and I can for sure eat 2 at a time. I was super hungry late at night, and this spot was still open near my hotel. I'd been wanting to try it anyway, so we went. We ordered the limited Spicy Jalapeño Cheese Burger, a regular burger, and fries--total was almost $20. The guy taking our order was really nice. It was about 40 minutes before closing, and we didn't want to bother them, but he told us it was totally fine to stay until 12. The regular burger was flavorful but a bit too greasy and oily for me. The jalapeño one had more flavor and a nice kick (not too spicy), and I personally liked that one better. The fries were seasoned, crispy, and hot--even close to closing time. Overall, it's a solid late-night option. A little pricey, and not my first choice, but worth trying once. Just not worth all the hype. read more

I've been to a few 7th Street Burger locations (primarily in Brooklyn) but this location is close to my job. The first time I came here, I didn't know about the app and I had to wait 20 minutes for my order. This location gets pretty crowded. After the last Yelp event for 7th Street Burger, I learned about the app. My order was the same as if I would have ordered in person. The service is good as is the food. I like their jalapeño cheeseburger and fries. They have a simple menu which seems to work. This location has several tables and chairs for those who want to dine in--I just bring it back to work. Visit & Wait Time This was my first Smashburger experience. We heard about the place from our tour guide. The line inside was pretty long, taking about 15-20 minutes to get in and another 15-20 minutes for our food. There are a few seats inside, but I wouldn't count on getting one. Luckily, there was a nearby "park" a few blocks away with a farmer's-market-style setup, so we took our food there to eat. Food The menu is simple and easy to navigate. We tried the promotional jalapeño Smashburger with jalapeños and spicy sauce, it was very good. The fries were decent, but one order would be enough for 2-3 people if you just want a few on the side. We got three burgers and three fries, but honestly, two fries would have been more than enough for our group. At the end we were trying to find an unhoused person to give our fries away. The burgers themselves were on the smaller side, making them a good snack to hold you over until dinner. I'm a single patty, impossible-meat only orderer tho but appreciate the variety for others. BUT maybe this is a new(er) addition to all of the stores? Haven't been in a whiiile. Had a craving for loaded fries but once I saw the jalapeño version, I knew. Ordered that + a glass bottle coke. Toppings: Impossible patty chopped up with american cheese, grilled onions, jalapeños + ghost pepper sauce on perfectly crispy fries. Large portion imo. I atopped in for a quick bite. I had the cheeseburger. They are a very popular smashburger as they are now in multiple locations, not limited to just 7th Street as the name would suggest. This location in FiDi is busy at lunchtime, but I was able to grab a stool among tge few tgat are available. Tourists have this place in their sites, as well, as I heard conversations in Spanish. The place was sparse, but served its purpose for fast food. My cheeseburger was good. I like my burgers thicker, but tgat would have been at a higher price point. My first time trying out 7th Street burger and it was sooo good! The inside has all tall standing tables only, no outside tables. The guy helping us out was really nice. Food came out within 10 minutes. The vibe inside the store was spot on with their music! The menu is straightforward. I ended up getting the cheeseburger ($6.50) with fries ($4.50). This smash burger is just the right amount of grease, the fries are crunchy and fresh. Honestly, this is the perfect food for drunchies. My favourite go-to for a truly cozy smash burger craving! They keep it simple with a single or double- no frills inside the restaurant but space to stand and eat. Once you order, it's a short 5min wait until you'll be served. At night and peak times it can get busy but never had to wait very long. I really enjoyed the fries as well. read more

Was recommended by a friend to try 7th Street Burger while I was in N?YC, so since my hotel was only a few minutes away, I had to make a stop here. The Food: I ordered the "Double Cheeseburger" for my meal. The burger was hot and tasty. Delicious flavor with each bite. It only comes with grilled onions, American cheese, pickles and their house sauce though. So with little toppings, it makes for a basic burger, but very delicious. I do wish there was a little more to the patty, especially at this price, but its not the end of the world. Overall, a quality burger, just a little pricey for what you get. The Service: Service was good here. Ordered at the register and the staff was very fast and quick with getting orders out. The menu is small and gets straight to the point as well. The Atmosphere: Small space that doesn't have a lot of indoor seating. It seems more of a takeout spot than anything. However, the place is very bright and white, with minimal decor. Overall, a 4.5/5. Burger was absolutely delicious! Had tons of flavor and service was fast and easy. I'll be visiting 7th Street again when I'm back. read more

I've recently become aware of 7th Street Burger, this year. The hand few of times, I've been very pleased with it. I came to this new location and like another location, I immediately noticed the lack of seating. It was very warm and uncomfortable outside and decided to eat in the park. The burger itself was great and the fries were just okay. The counter man was friendly and for that, I tipped pretty well. Im a fan of their burgers and service, but the lack of seating is something to keep in mind. If I still worked in lower Manahattan, I'd patronize this location, but as in Midtown, it would be one of their other locations. I'd recommend to others, though! read more

Sooo if you expect a pretty burger then don't come here. The burger is a smash burger that's somewhat messy so you should eat in the restaurant. The menu is pretty simple. I ordered a cheese burger and fries and tried the 2 side sauces. One was spicy and the other wasn't. The cheeseburger was good, but I did add ketchup which gave it more flavor. The cheeseburger didn't come w ketchup, only the sauce. The fries are medium cut and had good flavor. They are really good when dipped in the side sauce. The staff was really friendly but the restaurant needs work. It's a big space that's not utilized well. They have 4-5 long tables that 4-5 ppl could stand around, but because of that your standing with strangers eating. They could make more room by adding 2 top tables with seating, or even a counter along the wall with seating. There's zero seating and standing while eating isn't really my thing. This is a direct message to the Owners/Managers! Y'all need to give Dariel a raise! Not only was he super kind and sweet, he quite literally convinced me in real time to buy a meal even though I was fully prepared to just go in with my friend as she ordered her food. It was everything he said it would be which was great because I would've been upset if it was trash, lol. I will say, the meat patty could've used a little more salt but other than that, the meal was very delicious. The bun was nice and soft, I happen to love and prefer American cheese on my burgers so I didn't mind it on there, and the fries were probably my favorite part of the meal. They're either lightly battered or breaded because they had a really nice crisp and crunch to them. It's also really cool that their prices aren't insanely high. I have seen 7th Street Burger online and wanted to finally try it myself. The guys at the cash register were welcoming and recommend their loaded fries. There is rap/hip pop playing which created a cool vibe. We ordered double smashed burgers and fries. There are no chairs only stand up seats so we decided to walk back to our hotel to eat. Our food was still piping hot after a 7 minute walk the bag was just drenched in oil. I enjoyed my burger. I ordered it as is. Next time I will probably opt out of onions because it was much better after I scrapped them off. The fries were decent but nothing special just plain frozen fries. My favorite 7th Street Burger of all in Manhattan. Ample room to dine for all unlike other locations where the space is a bit cramped. Clean place, everything looked well maintained. Given all the hype I'd read about 7th Street Burger lately, my expectations may have been set too high. I felt my meal was just fine, considering the price tag: a double cheeseburger with fries (no drink) rang up to around $18, including tax and tip. It's a bit more than I'd anticipate for a quick takeout lunch -- especially one of the greasy-spoon variety. I'd say the burger itself was like a messier version of an In-N-Out double double. Their fries are fatter and floppier than In-N-Out's, though. I prefer this thicker-cut style, personally (although I'm not about to turn down some shoestring fries, either -- a spud's a spud and it's pretty damned hard to make a potato not delicious). As far as I can tell, there's no seating in this venue (nor an obvious bathroom to wash your hands, either). If you're planning on dining in, I wouldn't consider this an accessible-friendly venue. Also, the R&B music was cranked way the hell up, possibly to hearing loss levels. That's great if it's your jam, just don't anticipate having any casual conversations. I'm never mad about enjoying a decent burger. I don't plan to come back -- at least, not to this outlet. Perhaps other locations warrant the rave reviews. read more
