I needed to get my prescription updated and was recommended to the Optic Gallery on Eastern by my daughter in law. I called to make an appointment and they gave me one the next day. The store was in a very convenient location with ample parking. The store is very pretty with a large selection of name brand and designer glasses...enough to meet anyone's style. I was welcomed and given the opportunity to brouze before being seen by the doctor. After they called me back I was given a thorough exam by the assistant and Dr. Stephanie Johnson...OMG...I can see again. Then the fun started...which frame and lenses to choose. My experience at Optic Gallery has always been wonderful, which is why I return here year after year. The staff is very personable and professional. Dr. Johnson is fantastic!! She takes the time to explain what's going with your eyes, as well as discusses your vision needs to determine the glassware (or contact) requirements that best suits your lifestyle and activities. Aylin is the technician that performed the preparatory examinations for Dr. Johnson, and she also helped me choose the best eyeglasses for my face frame and vision needs. The eyeglasses we decided on carry the Tiffany brand and are absolutely adorable!!! On my next visit, I will be replacing the original lenses in my Ray-Ban sunglasses with prescription lenses. The office's operating hours conclude at 5 pm. I arrived to collect my ready glasses and drop off another pair needing new lenses. However, at 4:30, the receptionist informed me that I would need to return another time for the latter task as the administrative tasks for the day were finalized. I suggested leaving the glasses for later payment over the phone, but she insisted on in-person handling. With my prescription in hand, I proposed getting the new lenses elsewhere, to which she simply responded, "Ok." It's disheartening that a seemingly indifferent attitude could cost a business valuable customers. read more

I saw Dr. Paez at the Optic Gallery on Eastern recently to obtain a new prescription for my contact lenses. His staff was kind, patient and professional. Dr. Paez was gentle and very knowledgeable. I didn't even realize how dry my eyes were until he pointed it out and gave me drops to use for a few weeks while I tested out the new sample contacts. My eyes are thanking him tremendously for getting them back in shape, and for updating my prescription. I can see better than I have in a long time, and I have Dr. Paez to thank for that! Great customer service and an excellent selection too. Most often I dread buying new glasses but now I'm genuinely excited to pickup my new pair! Their prices are a bit higher than another competitor that I've used in the past but it's marginal compared to buying what I need versus want. Mirna had been extremely helpful through the entire process from the time I walked in until I left, she is the epitome of what customer service should be like. This was my first visit to Optic Gallery. The staff was amazing, starting with the very professional and pleasant women at the front desk who registered me and took care of the insurance. Dr Johnson was very patient and took extra time to explain things as well as making sure I was happy with what she had to say. I came in to Optic Gallery after searching for new glasses for a few weeks, and Ingrid was more than happy to help me try on as many glasses as I wanted. I was apprehensive about finding glasses I loved, but she was extremely helpful. I ended up finding 10 pairs that I really liked, and Ingrid was very patient with me while I debated between pairs. Dr Stephanie Johnson, my Optometrist was great she recommend contact lenses that is affordable and got so much compliments when I wear them. She even gave me the coupon to get eye drops for a cheaper price when my old doctor always prescribed a $141 eye drop. The staff are nice and they will take their time to answer all my questions. We moved here from out of state to retire and wasn't sure where to go for eye exams. But we found the best place ever. Dr. Johnson is wonderful she found out I had cataracts and got me into the right place to have the surgery then followed through every step with surgeons and dealing with our insurance. I came here last week because it was incredibly painful to put my contacts in. Dr. Stephanie Johnson looked at my eye and told me it was just some bad dry eye (thank goodness - not an infection!) and prescribed some steroid drops to heal me up before putting my contact back on. My eyes felt better immediately, and I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip. Highly recommend her! read more

Dr. Roger Paez is fantastic. He and his staff are courteous, professional, knowledgeable and all-in-all do an amazing job. It's a eye place with me being diabetic, and almost blind of one eye, they make me feel wonderful in every way. I feel comfortable with them .
