Turkey Rueben with fries

Had a lovely lunch here dining on their lunch specials menu! Very nice service. Husband had the turkey Ruben with fries and enjoyed it. I had the fish special of the day which was panko crusted and very good! The rolls were delicious and that honey butter is so good! Seating and decor is very nice.

So disappointed for my fiance birthday having another done would have taken long and the option to find a new place was not any better. Its a gamble but $135 tomahawk not happy, ruined our special evening . Manager tool off 50 percent still it wasn't worth it

Delicious food, great atmosphere, excellent staff and service. Everything was great! Will be back for sure

Lump Crab Cakes

Twice in the past week, and meals were excellent both times! Steak dinners one night, Seafood another night. Crab cakes were definite winner that night, but the halibut was very good. Molten lava cake for desert is just sinful! Service was exemplary as always, wait staff pleasant and knowledgeable, just enough friendly humor to make evening enjoyable. Decor is always kept up to par and dining here is always a treat!

Very nice atmosphere! Appreciated the staffs attentiveness (greeted us by last name, checked that the steak was cooked to our liking, & even performed a baked potato topping service!). I will say, in my opinion, the food is good but it's not necessarily the best thing i've ever had. I feel like every plate was good, but mediocre. There wasn't anything we really raved about. I feel like all dishes would've tasted a bit better with more spices. The steak frites portion sizing also didn't seem like enough. 3.5 stars, definitely a fun experience but the food isn't thrilling.

Bananas foster cheesecake

Was on a golf trip and we went here for a "fancy" dinner (8 guys). This place is a typical higher end steakhouse. Nice atmosphere, good menu, and a bit pricey (expected). With alcohol, like 100-150 a person. We got a bunch of side dishes, salads, main meal, and dessert. I ordered wedge salad, blackened filet (8oz) with potatoes au gratin, and bananas foster cheesecake that is on fire when served. Definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful, clean, and upscale with top-notch service -- our waiter Jacob was exceptional. The bread and butter? Excellent. But the French onion soup was lukewarm and loaded with more thyme than I have left on the planet -- seriously overpowering. The filet mignon was decent but came in just past medium rare when I asked for medium. For the price point, I expected more. Fancy place, but the chef needs to ease up on the thyme.

She has told me about it for a long time and today I got to go and experience it for myself. Monday through Friday they have a great lunch special for about $13 that comes with a super salad and then a sandwich. It is a great deal, I have the fish sandwich which was cod. We also split the pimento cheese with freshly fried pita chips. They make the pimento cheese and house and you can tell for sure! The bartender Renee was so kind as we're all the staff we encountered.

Today I ordered two entrees and a side, to pick up for take out. The place is very cleqn and…read moreworkers polite. However the food was terrible! We ordered a Diners burger, Virginia burger, and house wings. The Burgers were borderline inedible due to the huge amount of salt. If i had been dining in I would have sent it back. I would not feed that much salted meat to my dog. The burgers dampness also had literally demolished the lower bun and iceberg lettuce. So i had to disgard those sodding blobs. The Virginian burger also salty, and the crab cake, small and underwhelming. The Chicken wings tasteless and dry. On too of this i had no choice but to pay a 10% tip for "take out prepare ". If i can give zero i would. Id say "fire the chef"

We had a wonderful experience eating here…read more We have lived in this area our whole lives and had never eaten here. We decided to give it a try and we we're definitely happy we did. The price was expensive for 2 people, $130 including tip but that included wine, appraiser and 2 full meals. The server was very friendly and professional. Our food was outstanding! Probably one of the best seafood restaurants we have ever been to. Definitely will return. Now we know where to go for our next special occasion.

It always sucks to have to write a tough review for a place that does seem to try so hard…read more Unfortunately, the food here really has much room for improvement. Let's start with the good. There's plenty of parking and the ambiance of this place is memorable, in a really dated (like borderline cheesy nautical decor) 80's kind of way. This place is also insanely dark, which seems to try and convey a romantic atmosphere, but it's just plain dark if you ask me. Now sadly, the food really is, for lack of a better word, pretty bad across the board. If there's anything on the menu you should stay the hell away from, it's definitely the French onion soup. The soup itself was so salty, it was absolutely inedible. It was promptly sent back and replaced with a clam chowder, which was on the other end of the spectrum - totally bland and absolutely devoid of any meaningful flavor. The entrees were no better. The stuffed flounder was expensive but tasted nowhere close to the price tag. The fish, like the chowder, was completely devoid of flavor and was not seasoned. The crab stuffing was mushy and not appetizing. Generally speaking, there was nothing appetizing about the meal, including the palate cleanser, which had no discernible taste as well (even though it was supposed to be some kind of lime sherbet of sorts). Again, this place tries hard to be upscale, but absolutely falls flat on the food. Even the rolls and opening weird coffee cake like kind of bread they serve were bland or tasted off. The service was also spotty and confusing all night. Our server was friendly and did do her best to keep up, but generally the food took a long time and it took 20 minutes to even get water. At least the host was friendly and the staff in general did seem to try their best despite being not up to par to the kind of upscale experience they try to emulate. At least the meal ended alright. The flambe dessert (I chose peach) was a nice little show, mostly because this old fashioned dated experience is literally nowhere to be seen in the NYC area these days, so it was nice to sort of relive a cheesy memory. The taste of the dessert was also a nice throwback to older times, though I'm not sure if this was meant to be an actual nostalgia trip here. In the end, given the presence of better dining options close by, I'd say you're better off going somewhere else.
