The space is gorgeous. I don't want to know what they spent on the renovations. They obviously took their time and worked on all the details to make it visually appealing. In addition, staff were friendly and the vibe was fun. But holy cow, cocktail prices up to $24 or so! The owners must have forgotten that they replaced Gold Coast, a quasi dive bar known for reasonable prices and a neighborhood, low key vibe. OR bar came in with Manhattan prices and energy without thinking how that might not be well received. I saw they lowered their prices a bit based on the backlash but they're still up to $20 or so. I'll stop by again and give another review after seeing how it's changed but for now I'm not sold. My hope is they keep adjusting and listening because we all want businesses in our fun city to survive and thrive. read more

If you visited this bar when it was Gold Coast, you're gonna be surprised it at the transformation. This bar is a very upscale yet down to earth bar. They have a full bar but it has more of a wine/ beer bar vibe. The ambiance is really trendy and the music is really good. They have seats at the bar and lounge seating so it's a bit intimate overall. The drinks here are pretty decent but a little bit on the higher end of the price spectrum. I'm a huge beer drinker and they have a great selection of craft beer. I had an IPA from Italy that was amazing. If you live in the area it's gonna be a local bar. If you're like me and visit WeHo this would be a great bar for a date, drinks with friend or a nice place to wind down after work. I was here during Super Bowl Sunday so it was very busy. read more

Personally I only pay $15 for a Jack and Coke at a country club but this one was worth it...high ball glass with a solid 10 count (bartender talk ). Very cute bar with fun vibes and a very nice staff. Some of the bar stools are a bit uncomfortable. My boyfriend is 6ft tall and even his feet were dangling. Accused me and a friend of not paying for our drinks before checking with our actual bartender (payment was confirmed in their system). We were the only black patrons in the empty bar. Had the nerve to tell me he has a black niece to try to convince me he couldn't be racist. When I told him that he could have a black niece and still be racist, he wouldn't listen and immediately tried to oust me from the bar. Draw your own conclusions. 0 stars. One of my favorite local lounge bars. They have a good happy hour here and they surprisingly also offer coffee service in the mornings. They have great cocktails that are more refined than your usual vodka soda and the ambiance is a little more upscale than most dives around. Genuinely miss the old Gold Coast. Have been to Or Bar several times and the best i can review is that it's just OK. Cocktails are not the quality to warrant the high price, and their cocktail happy hour is knowingly inaccurate. "Cocktail" only means a liquor and mixer for the happy hour price. I've heard several poor bartenders have to explain, after they issue the bill, that asking for a proper cocktail even with well has a unpublished $3 up charge. Stick to the basics and you're fine. read more

This bar has made a complete 360 since new owners came in and totally gutted and then glammed it up!. Beautiful chandelier above the entire bar, marble tables, comfy VIP seating without the need to pay for it and some fricking awesome art all over the walls. Love the super chic vibe and tasty drinks. If the drinks are t strong at least they're delicious, or if they're not the tastiest they're strong, depends on the bartender. They are always attentive to the best of their ability, as the bar tends to stay busy and you often see them doing side work and maintenance as well. We went in for a drink on a later afternoon and found the service to be really lackluster. The bartender seemed rushed even though there were maybe 10 people in the place at the time. What really shocked me was how dirty the place was. The tables by the sofa area were with old drink rings. Do they not wipe down the tables. It was just dirty. We finished our drinks and split.
