I came here on a weekday for dinner and it was very busy but luckily we got in without a reservation. The decorations are cute inside. I got the enchilada suiza which contains chicken. It is covered with a green sauce (which says it's spicy) but it wasn't too bad, it was pretty mild. Just a tip, if you are looking for chicken tacos, they do not have them because I asked. They only have pork tacos. The drinks were strong and very good. This place is a little pricey but similar to other Mexican spots around here. read more

The restaurant had a cool vibe. The place was very dimly lit to point you almost couldn't see what you were eating. The saviche app was very good and tasted fresh. I had the enchiladas and they were decent the chicken was a little dry. All the food did have a good amount of spice so maybe avoid if you can't handle spicy or ask the waitress their recommendation. I had the special margarita which happened to be blackberry. It was okay. They come in small glasses with tons of ice and a lot of space on the top so you do not get much to drink. Overall I would probably skip this restaurant next time I'm looking to go out to Morristown, I wasn't as impressed as I have been with other restaurants in this location. read more

My wife and I finally got a chance to try Orale - very fun, festive atmosphere. Very loud. We sat at the bar while waiting for our table and my wife ordered a couple drinks. Service was good at the bar - drinks were pricey but mundane/basic. It's a hip, trendy place that's very popular and they cram you in pretty tight to accommodate everyone. Not a bad thing, just not a whole lot of space unless you have a large party. We ordered Ribeye Chimichanga and the Duck Birria Tacos. The tacos were incredible - and they should have been (for $32). However my wife was disappointed with the chimi - mostly rice n beans and a nice sauce over top. We'd go back, but given the options around, probably won't be for a while. Sometimes you just don't get what all the fuss is about - and that's how we felt. Service was good, not great. Drink options for my wife were OK and we were 50/50 on the food. First time here after wanting to try. Upon entering I noticed the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Only thing is they won't see you until everyone in the party has arrived. The waiter we had was very friendly and helpful. Some people in our group have certain dietary restrictions so we had asked a lot of questions and he remained patient with us. The food that we got as pretty good. Someone in our group is unable to eat spicy food so she was kind of limited with what she could eat. A lot of items on the menu were spicy it seemed or unable to be made not spicy. The waiter as helpful in letting us know what she could have. We had the signature margarita which was tasty. Great Mexican... here's what to get. 1) Chicken Plancha- think Mexican rotisserie chicken. It is perfectly cooked, nice, and moist with very tasty sauces. 2) The nachos- pork marinated in coca cola? We had a 5:30 reservation and arrived early. They seated us early with a very friendly welcome. The ambiance was very nice with a candle and real flowers on every table. Our waitress Daisy was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was very good! I ordered the enchilada Suiza with a side of rice and churros for dessert. Service was good and we enjoyed the trendy ambiance, barbecue pork nachos were amazing but the borracho tacos were okay - more batter than fish and a little bland. We also ordered the frozen margarita and watermelon margarita - both were delicious! The green house sauce was flavorful, it went well with everything even the side plantains! I come here every week. The bartenders are amazing, food is ok. However I had a really bad experience with a manager name zack.. I ordered dinner for 2 at the bar and there was free chairs available for 2 if he had look, as my date was parking the car. he told me we don't hold bar chairs. Been here twice, once at a table and once at the bar. Definitely prefer the bar as the bartenders were very attentive and the place does get busy sometimes you may wait a while for a refill at the table. The best days in my opinion to go are in Tuesdays (half off tacos) and Thursdays (happy hour drink specials all day). Their Carolina bbq tacos are fantastic and the drinks are also great and visually pleasant. You will need a reservation because it is pretty popular so you aren't guaranteed a table without one. read more

Wow! This place is Mexican food elevated to a whole other level. They really k ow what they are doing here . I need to try more apps and entrees the next time I go, that is the takeaway here. So many choices . I had the Octopus appy with an unusual and remarkable chorizo paste like accent/dressing. I was so happy with it . I wish I had the pulled pork nachos as well Everyone else seemed to be having as well. A very large amount fit for a handful of people, but I witnessed many couples groups gobble it up. I had Steak Fajitas and my other person had Shrimp Tacos. We also enjoyed a guacamole as well and had a lot of different types of preparations . We got the traditional preparation with pork belly added.. All was devoured. Really remarkable . I visited a month later and had their Sunday Brunch menu. It was again a smorgasbord of delicious choices. I checked out their menus online and saw they changed it . We will definitely take a trip back. Definitely worth checking out. Probably the best restaurant in the downtown area!! From the food to the decor and ambiance, this place is great! My friend and I have been twice since it opened and both times were outstanding. Once inside, you really feel like you're in another world. It's fun to go here and get away for a couple hours. It is rather expensive so be prepared to drop some dollars! If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. It was absolutely horrible customer service. I recommended this restaurant as I've been to the other locations in jersey city and Hoboken and have had nothing but great experiences! This was the absolute worst service I've received at any restaurant. The waiters were completely rude and out of line. We spent some time at the bar before moving over to a table for dinner. First, they told us we are not able to split checks and in order to take advantage of the half off tacos the whole entire check needs to be paid in cash or else we couldn't participate in the deal. We asked for any workaround since it was about 12-14 people for a work event, all not paying in cash. The team was extremely rude, did not try to help at all. We also tried to close out our tab at the bar (we left it open by mistake) and someone followed us to the bar asking a bunch of questions of what we're looking to do. He accused us of trying to get drinks for happy hour prices while being seated at a table. We did not even know they had happy hour at the bar, we had already spent 500-600 at the bar as a group so we could not at all understand the service. Avoid this place at all costs. Go to the one in jersey city, the food is amazing there and you'll be treated with respect! read more

Great ambiance, got the burrito be warned it's a two pound burrito enough for two. Nice portions . Got the lamb cigars and they were served in a cigar case, pretty original package . We were excited to try Orale but sadly it was one of the worst let-downs I can remember... and a rip off to boot... what else could one call a steak burrito that was grossly overpriced and filled (not kidding!) with a huge amount of rice and beans with a few sad looking bits of steak on top to justify the name. I could go on about the other items which were underwhelming at best... but you get my drift. My advice is to avoid this place entirely and try some other restaurant in Morristown... you'll come away much happier! read more

Too noisy to return. My ears are still ringing. Four stars for food, one deducted for the noise. Honestly, I almost left before ordering. Halibut tacos and the salmon dish were tasty with nice flavors, textures, and spices. Decor apart from noise is nice. I know the noise is an ambient feature of newer, hip restaurants, but some textiles on the walls might allow me to return or recommend to others. read more
