I brought my bike in for a new battery, oil change and to locate a oil leak. I received a call 2 weeks later that my bike was done. I go to get my bike and was handed a invoice for $860. $185 new battery $150 brake fluid change - I did not request this, but ok $465 oil leak - 2x$20 rocker box gasket / $420 labor - my leak was not the rocker box, this was misdiagnosed. $0 oil change - they did not change my oil for some reason. Paid the invoice and told the service tech they should call a bike owner for approval before performing any work on a bike as I would have not approved the rocker box work. The following month I went for a ride and smelt something burning so I pulled over and my bike barely had any oil in it, so I bought some and put it in. When I turned on my bike to head back home, it wouldn't start. Battery was dead. I had it towed back to my house. Next day I left town for the weekend and when I got back I noticed oil was leaking from my bike again. I had it towed back to Harley in Irvine. I received a call from the service department asking when I swapped out my battery, I told them I didn't. The service manager and the GM Dan both accused me on several occasions of swapping out the 2020 battery they say they put in one month prior for the 2015 battery that was currently in my bike. I couldn't believe I was being accused of this. I don't even know how to change a battery. Dan then tried selling me a bike and I don't even have 5k miles on my bike I have now. I went through my Harley file and found the receipt from Harley Irvine (when Ray owned it) for the 2015 battery that was in my bike and sent a copy of it to Dan. So my service one month prior, they charged me for a new battery and never put one in my bike. They made a big deal of waiving a new invoice for $350. They didn't waive anything. They over charged me $510. $350 is what they should have charged me and not the $860 they scammed me for by a brake fluid flush I never requested and the bogus rocker box leak charge I never had. This experience was an absolute nightmare. I couldn't believe how dishonest these people are. I will never bring my bike back there again, I will never refer anyone to go there and I would never buy a bike from them in the future. If you need bike service, I highly recommend going to Lifestyle Cycles 1510 N. State College Blvd. Anaheim, CA 92806. He's a wealth of knowledge and seems to really love what he does. I was able to catch Erik the mechanic who worked on my bike. Eric was equally as nice and informative. I've never had service or my service explained to me so well. These two guys made me a happy customer, I will always bring my bike here for any wrenching as long as I'm not out of town. To backtrack a little bit, I'll be completely honest I was in here a few years back and wasn't thrilled with my visit so I've used a different local dealership for the last couple years for all my needs. Sold my 2014 street bob to this dealer 8/2/22. In return I got a 2022 crf450rl and cash back. 10 minutes after receiving the Honda a yellow light on the odometer started flashing. The bike was brought back to Orange County and the salesman said it's because it has an exhaust. I took it to a Honda dealer and found out the stock ecu had been changed out. Sold the bike and still have not received the money the dealer said would take 3 weeks. It's been 5 months now. I would be hesitant to do any transactions with this dealer. read more

The good and the very bad... I finally got around to writing this much needed review.. after visiting a month ago where my experience was pleasant and worthy of a 5 star for the friendly parts counter and merchandise sales people.. today I was shocked at the experience I had in the service department. I called the week prior to make an appointment for a new tire.. rear tire that unfortunately they didn't stock the Metzler I was replacing but still it was ok with me to go with the original Dunlop factory tire. After I signed the authorization to have the work done.. I waited in the lounge to finally get a call that the service manager Jespepi needed to talk to me. After I declined the sales pitch for a more expensive tire he suggested I replace the brake pads which I agreed to. Then I wait again only to get another request to talk and now I'm told I need a new brake caliper because of a missing bolt and stripped threads. WHAT! ?!?! cost is 500.00 so I inspect what they tell me is wrong and I figure no ill take the bike back to the shop that worked in my bike last. Well after I but the new tire and have them add the brake pads and after they tell me they don't have an extra bolt to try and see if it will work with the caliper, I sign a release that they are not responsible if my brakes fail and I then drive away. I call HB harley which is 15 miles away I ask if they have the 2.00 bolt they say yes I go over to them they replace the missing bolt and it's a miracle. It screwed in tight. OC Harley almost got another 500.00 out of me. For a 2.00 bolt. I called the manager and also left a VM with the general manager and guess what.. yup no calls back so I decided to warn others. They almost took advantage of me and my hard earned money. All they needed to do was try replacing the missing bolt to discover the caliper is fine!!! No sorry no nothing from them. Be carefully please when you get your bike serviced from them. Perhaps this is a isolated experience but at least they could have called me back. read more

With fuel prices as high as they are here in Orange County, driving a Tundra to work is highly frowned upon by the wife. Next choice, ride the Dyna and suck it up in the cold mornings. I needed a windshield for the "flow of traffic" speeds, so, my daughter and I stopped by OC Harley to look around. Came across a tall guy, Gunnar, who I connected with instantly. We chatted for a bit, then entertained some numbers as possibilities. Ended up adding the SuperGlide as a trade and the numbers were incredibly below my comfort zone. Joe, the best ASM I've ever worked with, made me buy a new Street Glide, in a color my daughter fell in love with, the off-white. You can't buy happiness but, you can buy a new HOG. The worst service department ever. They have no record of my bike being there for a dead battery even though it's been there 3 times for the same issue. I paid $900 for the last repair to fix it as they told me it was my electrical system and a wire harness and I still wake to a dead battery! They don't call back. They have zero regard for any level of customer service. I'm being told I have to wait 3 weeks until a vacationing service tech gets back to start with the same problem it's been there 3 times for. They totally suck. Don't go unless you like aggravation. My bike should have some priority since it's been there for the same problem but they don't care about that. On top of that my records are missing from the prior visits. The worst ever!!!!!!! No general manager to speak to on top of this. read more

I wanted to buy my first Harley, So I started looking around OfferUp and facebook market place. I knew about Harley Davidson rider to rider financing and thought that was good route for me. I had found a used bike and met with the owner at OC Harley. The deal ended up falling through because of some complications with the owner of the bike and paper work. OC Harley was looking out for me at that's all I'll say. During the entire process Greg and Cindy were the most friendliest and helpful people ever. I ended up going home that night without a bike. They assured me that they will look around and get me into a bike. The following day I was at work and Greg was calling me with updates and communicating very well. There so happened to be a brand new bike that got delivered while I was at work and Greg called me immediately. He let me know that it was in my budget and that if i said yes the bike was mine. Of course I said yes let's make it happen. I got off work and went straight there and let's just say everything went extremely well and smooth. I road home with a brand new bike that night! Wow. We walked into this dealer and one of their salesman approached us and started firing questions at us. We tried to explain they we just wanted to browse but he wouldn't stop asking questions. Finally I had to interrupt him ask if he could give us some breathing room. Not 30 seconds later the next guy comes up and does the same thing. Again I had advise we just wanted to browse. We are very familiar with all the bikes and option. I told him I know they have a job to do, but to please just give us some time. Then a girl walks up and starts in. I have been riding for many years, and with that comes many many visits to various Harley dealers. I've had good service and bad service all across the nation, in many different departments depending on what I need. There are very few times that I have ever let one bad experience be the final experience, but after what happened to me @ Orange County Harley, I will never go back. To be fair, the sales guys here are cool and chill. They've always welcomed me and made me feel comfortable, given that this is my local dealer I am here quite a bit. The girl "Alex" or "Alexis" (I am hard of hearing, not sure on name) in Motorclothes unfortunately made it such an awkward and uncomfortable experience that I will never return or spend another dollar in this dealership. My wife doesn't like spending a lot of money on apparel but I love treating her. I went in to shop for a little birthday gift for her in addition to the other items I've already gotten her, and came across the sale rack. I saw a couple shirts that I thought she would like, and asked the girl and Motorclothes if there were any other sizes available. She got snippy with me right off the bat and seemed annoyed that I was even asking. I figured she might be having a bad day so I moved on and kept shopping. She started complaining loudly to a dude at the parts counter about 'annoying customers always being cheap'. It was obviously directed at me, the guy at the sales rack being annoying by asking for another size T-shirt. At this point I didn't care if she was having a bad day or not, that was just plain rude and overall aggressive. She has quite the mouth on her and was swearing loud enough for anybody in that dealership to hear as the acoustics carry voices quite easily. Whoever her manager is needs to know that her demeanor needs to be resolved or they will continue losing business and it might not be just a T-shirt next time. Could be a bike sale!!! Orange County Harley-Davidson is that local dealer to go to when needing a new or used bike, or your current bike serviced. I had been in the market for a Harley-Davidson and saw a used Dyna that looked like the perfect fit for a first time owner. Cindy responded to my ride request promptly and made that entire process so easy. I had some very minor concerns with the bike after the test ride that were addressed immediately by Kevin, the manager on duty. After completing the low pressure purchasing process when I decided the bike was for me, I was introduced to Bill in service (who was probably the most positive person I've ever met) to schedule my first post ownership service appointment. This is mostly for the service shop. Sucks to write this review as it's my first experience with a shop at any Harley dealership. But man was it a pain in the a** to repair my bike here. Drew (the manager) felt like he was delaying or just completely ignoring my concerns or updates. Would constantly say "yah, I'll call you back (so and so day) & update you" & I would NEVER receive a call back. & the shop would almost never pick up the phone or put me on hold. Took 6 or so months to repair my bike, headache after headache. They had a new guy there I met when I first went in & 6 months later still didn't know how to do anything and would always have to wait for Drew or someone else to help. They also misplaced the check my insurance sent them and said they never received it when I first went in to pick up my bike? Then my insurance calls them and they said they had it for 3 months. Super unprofessional and unorganized. Can't stress it enough. Maxx is the hero in this shop. The man would constantly go out of his way to go above and beyond and make take my frustrations away & provide clarity through all this chaos. I wish the shop employees at the front were as organized and attentive as he was. Even apologized for all the frustrations when I FINALLY got to get my bike. My insurance agent stated this was the hardest shop she's had to deal with and she deals with a lot of motorcycle shops. I'd stay away til' they get it straightened out.
