DON'T CANCEL or you will see Sami's bad side. I was recommended to Sami by a very close friend. I contacted Sami early this morning, provided him a video via text, and explained the issue with my garage door. He provided me a price which wasn't horrible of a couple hundred dollars. He explained he would come to replace the entire piece and would be on his way in an hour. After receiving a message from a handyman neighbor in the neighborhood app that the problem was actually an easy fix and he'd fix it for free, I immediately and respectfully contacted Sami about 20-30 mins after his last text explaining the situation. I asked Sami if I could contact him in the near future if the neighbor couldn't fix it. He called me very upset that I requested to cancel, said he wouldn't come back if I called, and hung up in my face. I texted him how rude that was to display anger and to hang up in my face as a professional and business man and that anyone would pursue free before having to spend money. As a business owner myself, you know some customers will cancel for whatever reason. Although I understand Sami's frustration, how he handled it was so disrespectful and rude. So many other garage door services wanted to charge me for an estimate, which is ridiculous. He offered a good deal to adjust my garage door so it would open completely and allow our new mini-van trunk door from opening without hitting the garage door. He came immediately, and was done in under an hour; and gave us the minor screw parts that others often would nickel and dime us for, for free.
