I love kimbap and was craving Korean flavors. I ordered delivery - the kimbap noodle combo where you get a kimbap roll (I chose beef) and a bowl of amazing noodle soup. I also ordered a second kimbap roll (I chose tempura shrimp) for the next day. The order was delivered faster than I expected, and I really love that they took the time to pack it with care so the noodles are separate from the soup. The kimbap rolls were packaged separately with yellow radishes - yum! The only confusing thing was I got some yellow sauce that I didn't know what to do with. I guessed it may be for the shrimp tempura roll (after I ate it with my beef roll). Everything was delicious and had great texture. The soup warmed my belly and the combo filled me up! The second roll was in great shape the next day. I would love to go in and try other things too next time. read more

Ordered a variety of kimbaps for to-go. We got their kimchi, beef, tuna and spam. We thought the beef kimbap would be the best since it's the most original kimbap you could get but unfortunately, it lacked flavor in the meat. Didn't really taste like anything. The spam was probably the most disappointing one. Huge piece of spam in the rolls and the cheese felt out of place? The flavor of the roll was odd. The tuna kimbap was alright. Lately, I've been very into kimbap. However, I can be pretty picky about it in terms of what's inside. There's sooooo many options for what kind of kimbap you want. For me, I'm really into the beef kimbap. Kimbap Paradise has the best beef kimbap, in my opinion. The restaurant is located in Torrance, super close to my home. It's in a busy shopping center so there's plenty of parking. I easily just call in my order and pick it up. It's usually ready within 10/15 mins depending on how busy they are. I never dined in, but there's lost of seating inside to do so. If you're not a kimbap fan, they have many other Korean dishes to choose from. read more

This review is just for the kimbpab: The kimbpap for some reason was so salty. Every ingredient inside the roll was salty. The rice was salty and even the veggies were salty. It would have tasted so much better if they used less salt. I tried a few of their kimbaps. I tried the cheese kimbpap, beef kimbpap, egg Kimbap, and fishcake kimbpap. The Cheese Kimbpap was my least favorite. I thought it would have been more of melted cheese like mozzarella cheese or something else but I think it was American cheese and it wasn't melted. The best one I liked out of the four was their egg kimbpap. The eggs were seasoned and cooked well but only thing that would have made it better is less salt. I've been looking for an upgrade to the kimbap that I usually get at the local korean supermarket. I've been to a few places in the area, but nothing really hit the spot compared to the quality I got when I was in Seoul last year. I got a double roll of the tempura shrimp kimbap. It was about a 10 minute wait since the rolls were made to order. After a 20 minute drive home, I ripped into it. This was amazing. The shrimp was still crunchy. Everything was fresh. Very small establishment but with a very welcoming staff. Very colorful ambiance. Their wall menu display is very large and visible making it easier to know what you are ordering. They also provide table menus for a more personal viewing. For the most part we were the main customers during the visit as other would come in to get their orders to go or the order would be an uber eats or Grubhub order. We were. Checked throughout our visit. The food was tasty and warming. Once were were ready to pay the cook came out and she packed our food for us, we didn't have to lift a hand. Portions were of good size so we had leftovers. I want to say o I saw their hours posted that they are open for a few hours on site days now as well. Caveat: I have only had from Kimbap Paradise via delivery. Kimbap Paradise is good Korean restaurant specializing in kimbap (which is similar to Japanese sushi rolls, rice wrapped in seaweed with fillings, but with some differences such as the rice being seasoned with sesame oil rather than vinegar), but also having some other popular Korean dishes not involving BBQ or fried chicken. Food: For kimbap, I have ordered the beef, sesame leaf, spam, and tuna versions. I am a huge fan of the sesame leaf kimbap, as I love the flavor of perilla leaves (notably, sesame leaf and perilla leaf are considered the same in Korean cooking, but true sesame leaf from a sesame plant is different). I also really like the tuna kimbap, again as i love tuna salad. The spam kimbap is good, but I think I'd prefer just a good spam musubi. Finally, the beef kimbap is also good, but admittedly unremarkable. For non-kimbap, I have ordered the rice cake stew ("Tteokbokki") and the fishcake soup ("Eomuk Tang"). The rice cake stew is good, but typical and on par with many other Korean restaurants. As for the fishcake stew is really good, with a LOT of fishcakes added to the stew. Bottom Line: Kimbap Paradise is a very good restaurant that specializes in kimbap, which can be harder to find in the South Bay. been here many times, they have since up their menu options and offer lunch combo. i do like their kimbap esp its a good amount for me to take to-go at times. altho recently when i go in and wanting to order the lunch combo and they said no lunch combo today. so i guess it's a hit or miss? not sure why lunch combo isnt offer that monday. overall i do enjoy their food and will always come back. read more

I decided to give this place another try after I read so many positive reviews. This time I got the Beef Bulgogi lunch box and I loved it! Very generous portion, tasty without being too sweet. 10/10, highly recommend. I'm not familiar with Kimbap, so I really had to look closely at the menu. Worth it. One complaint, the box wasn't microwave safe, it was just plastic. I ate it less than hot, but it was still yummy. read more

Placed a pick up order at Kimbap Paradise at 6:30pm and I was told the order would be available for pickup in 15 minutes. The order consisted of beef kimbap without the imitation crab and spam kimbap. Both kimbaps were made to order and fresh. Parking was easy to find right in front of Kimbap paradise. As I walked in, the lady asked me what I ordered and handed me my order right away. The service was fast with no hello or a greeting. The place has a couple of tables to grab a quick meal. I took my order to go. One order of kimbap is enough to share between two people. We ordered two kinds to try them both. Both kinds of Kimbap were delicious. I luv Kimbap Paradise Kimbap is one of my top fav Korean dishes so I've been on the hunt to find the perfect spot. I stumbled on this place while I was looking for places to eat on Yelp. The reviews were good so I decided to try it. The restaurant is an average sized place with plenty of seating. They greeted me with a smile and took my order quickly and it came out after waiting about 10 mins or less. I got the beef kimbap. I didn't expect a big, hefty portion of kimbap but I was certainly pleased! These rolls lasted me 2 days they were so big! I get it we live in the U.S but at a kimbap takeout spot serving mostly Korean customers, you'd think there'd be just a little generosity. We ordered $300 worth of food and kindly asked for some soup, you know, so we don't choke on the kimbap. But nope $1 per soup. Fine. But if you're going to charge, at least make it worth it! Instead, we got half a takeout cup of broth with two lonely green onion slices floating around like they lost their way. No tofu, no seaweed--just vibes. And that "Kimchi" fried rice? More like "Where's-the-Kimchi" fried rice. Every time we order, it's the same no actual kimchi just rice dressed up in red to trick us. Look, we understand that prices are going up but maybe cut costs somewhere else instead of skimping on basic ingredients. My friends & I decided to come here during the week for dinner! Being a picky eater, I was kinda worried about whether I'd find something on the menu I'd like. I've ordered from Kimbap Paradise a few times now for delivery (from Torrance to Long Beach), and they've been consistently great. The first time, my team and I only tried their kimbaps, which were delicious. This time, I decided to branch out and ordered kimchi fried rice, soondae, and more kimbap. The kimchi fried rice was a huge hit with everyone! As for the soondae, my coworkers weren't adventurous enough to try it, which was fine by me because that just meant more for me! It's a small little place but they do have seating inside. Staff is pleasant they take your order and get it to you quickly no matter how big the order. I can't believe it took us so long to start coming here. After years of buying kimbap that was just okay from the Korean markets, we finally decided it was worth the extra drive here. They have a much better assortment of kimbap at more reasonable prices. The filling to rice ratio is perfect. My kids love the tonkatsu kimbap. This is my go to location to pick up kimbap. They have so many variety of selection and the price is reasonable. They also have other food items. I always grab mine and go. We catered here also they've been in business forever because it's just that delicious. But they can work on their customer service. They're not the friendliest and the employees that's making the food always look so sad which means the owner isn't so great. Place is clean, but super small and there's a 15 min quick parking so don't pay for the valet parking. I would recommend this spot for fast Korean food . read more

Best place ever for Kimbap!! I've tried a few things here. My top favorite is the blugogi Kimbap and the bowls. The food is so filling and they give a good portion. I always call ahead to order and ready always in 15 mins. Inside is decent size and has tables. The parking lot is very small kinda hard to find parking sometimes. The kimchi fried rice too !! I ordered delivery from here through UberEats and got their Marinated Beef with Vegetables Roll and their Glass Noodles. Kimbap ($11.50 on UberEats) - I don't have a good picture of this dish, but the rice wasn't made the day I bought it. It was soft nor was it warm. Also, the entire roll was dry, which tells me it was either left on the counter or in the fridge. I've made kimbap before and I know when it's fresh and when it's at least a day old. This was a day old. No way this could have been made in the morning and it turned out as dry as it was by 11:30 am. Glass Noodles ($15.99 on UberEats) - I liked this out of what I ordered. The beef was yummy and marinated and I thought the overall flavor was tasty. There was also a lot of food, which I was glad for because it was pricey. The meal came with danmuji (yellow pickled radish), kimchi, rice, and this hot, slightly spicy, soup, which I loved. Overall though, I wouldn't eat here again. read more

We were looking for something light but also easy to bring to the beach, and kimbap was the perfect thing! They have all types of kimbap on the menu but you can't go wrong with classic beef. I was wondering why it seemed so expensive since normally I can get it for half the price at home, but when our order came out I noticed it's actually more like two full rolls worth so I'm glad we only got one. I love that they put radish on the side as well since that's my favorite part. Each roll is stuffed with ingredients and they're rolled tightly. I think I was hoping more for bulgogi beef, something thinly sliced but this was more like ground beef cut. Originally was heading to BCD but then I saw that KP was in the same plaza and I changed routes real quick! Soo glad I did! This place is legit. Super clean, bright, friendly staff. Awesome price points for the quality and food you get. Tuna Kimbap - nice change from the beef, ham and fishcake offerings I usually see. Very filling and tasty. I've found my favorite kimbap place in the South Bay. I've tried kimbap at other Korean restaurants, but this place is definitely on top of my list. Prices are very reasonable and they give you more pieces per order. You can tell they're made with love, I would say it's a nice mom and pop store. My favorite kimbap choices here: tuna mayo, marinated beef, and pork cutlet. We also ordered their spicy seafood noodle soup, and the broth is very fresh and the noodles are cooked perfectly.
