Stopped by for a light dinner and loved it! The tteokbokki + fried squid combo was on point Gimbap was tasty, jjolmyeon was solid. Clean space, decent service. Worth a visit if you're in the mood for Korean comfort food!

This review is just for the kimbpab: The kimbpap for some reason was so salty. Every ingredient inside the roll was salty. The rice was salty and even the veggies were salty. It would have tasted so much better if they used less salt. I tried a few of their kimbaps. I tried the cheese kimbpap, beef kimbpap, egg Kimbap, and fishcake kimbpap. The Cheese Kimbpap was my least favorite. I thought it would have been more of melted cheese like mozzarella cheese or something else but I think it was American cheese and it wasn't melted. The best one I liked out of the four was their egg kimbpap. The eggs were seasoned and cooked well but only thing that would have made it better is less salt. But maybe it was just the day that I went since I don't think I remember it being like that before I have had their bimbpab a few years ago a few times I know my friends and I have ordered that a couple of times before Next time I come back I'd want to try some of their other dishes Note: They have plenty of parking spaces available They are located a few doors down from a karaoke place

Very small establishment but with a very welcoming staff. Very colorful ambiance. Their wall menu display is very large and visible making it easier to know what you are ordering. They also provide table menus for a more personal viewing. For the most part we were the main customers during the visit as other would come in to get their orders to go or the order would be an uber eats or Grubhub order. We were. Checked throughout our visit. The food was tasty and warming. Once were were ready to pay the cook came out and she packed our food for us, we didn't have to lift a hand. Portions were of good size so we had leftovers. I want to say o I saw their hours posted that they are open for a few hours on site days now as well. They also used more of a sterile utensils appeal with their cups and chopsticks. Check them out when your in the mood for Lorean food

I decided to give this place another try after I read so many positive reviews. This time I got the Beef Bulgogi lunch box and I loved it! Very generous portion, tasty without being too sweet. 10/10, highly recommend. I'm not familiar with Kimbap, so I really had to look closely at the menu. Worth it. One complaint, the box wasn't microwave safe, it was just plastic. I ate it less than hot, but it was still yummy.

Placed a pick up order at Kimbap Paradise at 6:30pm and I was told the order would be available for pickup in 15 minutes. The order consisted of beef kimbap without the imitation crab and spam kimbap. Both kimbaps were made to order and fresh. Parking was easy to find right in front of Kimbap paradise. As I walked in, the lady asked me what I ordered and handed me my order right away. The service was fast with no hello or a greeting. The place has a couple of tables to grab a quick meal. I took my order to go. One order of kimbap is enough to share between two people. We ordered two kinds to try them both. Both kinds of Kimbap were delicious. This place also has all the typical Korean snack foods too. Will be back here again for the kimbap!

I get it we live in the U.S but at a kimbap takeout spot serving mostly Korean customers, you'd think there'd be just a little generosity. We ordered $300 worth of food and kindly asked for some soup, you know, so we don't choke on the kimbap. But nope $1 per soup. Fine. But if you're going to charge, at least make it worth it! Instead, we got half a takeout cup of broth with two lonely green onion slices floating around like they lost their way. No tofu, no seaweed--just vibes. And that "Kimchi" fried rice? More like "Where's-the-Kimchi" fried rice. Every time we order, it's the same no actual kimchi just rice dressed up in red to trick us. Look, we understand that prices are going up but maybe cut costs somewhere else instead of skimping on basic ingredients. We all know kimbap can be a bit dry and yet only kimchi fried rice and jjolmyeon get soup included? So, if we have to pay for soup, maybe make it worth the price? Or at least pretend to have a conscience.

My friends & I decided to come here during the week for dinner! Being a picky eater, I was kinda worried about whether I'd find something on the menu I'd like. I ended up going with the kimchi fried rice. I'm usually not a fan of fried rice either, but it was pretty good! I loved the spice & the egg added a lot of flavor. I also asked for my cheese on the side to sprinkle on. The portions are HUGE! My friends got the kimbap & they also give a lot with one order. I think we arrived an hour before closing & we definitely seemed rushed by the workers. Just keep that in mind if you are deciding to come here!

I've tried quite a few dishes here, but my favorites are the galbi, tofu soups, and dolsot bibimbap. The galbi is definitely on the pricier side for the portion, but the quality and flavor of the beef make it worth ordering every time. The dolsot bibimbap is a generous portion, especially if you're sharing another entrée, and the crispy rice at the bottom is done just right. My go-to tofu soup is the kimchi and beef with medium spice, which always hits the spot. Everything comes out piping hot and is served with a generous selection of banchan. The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. If you're in the South Bay and craving authentic Korean food without making the drive to Koreatown, this is an easy recommendation.

The panko crumbs on the chicken was nice and light. It was perfectly fried and not too hard/over crispy. The meat was also juicy. My toddler ate 3 large pieces of it and kept complimenting how tasty it was. The kim chi fried rice had a great fried egg in it and had great flavor. Even the side of rice was delicious! It was moist and sticky without being overcooked. The bad: I didn't get to experience the food court dining in the grocery store. The interesting: The dishes came with a side salad with orange dressing, pickled yellow radish, and some citrus wedges. The dishes came with 3 pickled side dishes (including kim chi). and a soup.

Probably because it's Korean, in a Korean supermarket, where the competitors that folded shop were not always. Other stands also had a freshness issue - not much turnover as most visitors want Korean. Each time I shop at HMart, I see big soup bowls from Hansol. And I think, as a giant soup lover, I need to get me some. It always looks so good. Unfortunately, it does not taste as good as it looks. For example, the 2 rib special looks fantastic but the meat is tough to eat. The noodles are flat, need some flare. The rice bowls lack flavor. I see all these glowing reviews and know I'm swimming against the tide. Probably sacrilege for me to say that the Hmart prepared food tastes better than this restaurant... but I find this to be the case. The prices - not great. You pay for the convenience of being in a market. Counterintuitive as the ambience is what what you'd expect to pay for.

As for the food, you have to try the signature dish: gobchang (intestines). For a medium, you get to choose three of four types: abomasum (stomach), tripe, large intestines, and small intestines. Additionally, you get side dishes, a choice of a stew (kimchi or fermented soybean), corn cheese, steamed egg, and salad. They cook the intestines for you before bringing it out to your table, so that it says warm as you eat. They stir fry the intestines with potatoes, onions, garlic and mushrooms. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered the beef tartare, since they had posters of it around the restaurant. The beef tartare is definitely in the top 3 of the ones I've tried around OC and SD. The cuts are thicker than normal and the seasoning is just right. They don't include a lot of ingredients like other places do, but it just hits better.
