Went well for a while until they switched from me getting a regular maid to different groups of people and things started going missing...and all kinds of things...cups, bowls, vape pens, handmade jewelry, and the list goes on. When I tried to speak to the owner, she ran me around and said 'she would get back to me," repeatedly for several months and then when I finally demanded some kind of settlement or solution or any sort of compensation (while providing detailed accountings, pictures, and pricing for each missing item), she told me I was mistaken. Was a first time user and was seriously impressed! It was super easy and I love their use of technology...makes my life as a new mom that much easier! Worst experience with a company EVER. Could not get their billing cycles sorted and often left off the discounts from final billing. The manager became nasty. I'm still waiting, almost two years later, for the subpoena that they threatened to file for a $55 charge I was able to prove that I paid. I had bank statements from charges they made on my card, which was on file. Somehow they still screwed up and expected me to pay for an extra month without proof that I owed anything. Again, my card was on file and they had the ability to charge whenever they needed. Since they decided to threaten me with legal action I contacted my lawyer, who laughed his ass off when reading the exchanges. He said it was obvious they were in the wrong and if they went to court they'd have to pay me... So... again, STILL waiting to be served. I even gave them my new address to send it to. I had this company clean my high rise unit during my move out a few days ago. They stole from me. Had a brand new bottle of Dom my girlfriend gave me for my birthday (still in the gift box), which they took without asking. They also immediately asked for more time on the clock after only being there 20 minutes saying they couldn't complete the job in the allotted time. I pushed back saying they should be able to complete the job in 2 hours (normal cleaner does it in 2 hours and they had two people. Owner non responsive after stating his crew stole from my house. Got a new job so decided to splurge and get a top to bottom loft clean. Big windows and all. These ladies did an amazing job. Polite, on time and efficient, I still love all the little thugs they found to clean-- cat bed re-softened! Shoes tossed into my closet arranged! Vents dusted! It was great. They cost more than others, but the end result is worth it. My place is sparkling. The best part is they specialize in downtown places, so nothing was a shock and they didn't complain about parking (like every other cleaning service I've ever used). I have a cleaning group of my own that use for maintenance cleaning on my apt and while she's away for the next two months, decided to give this group a chance based on the reviews. I'm very disappointed. The bedroom carpet wasn't vacuumed and the sofa looked a mess. The toilet bowl didn't look like it was cleaned throughly, you can see the water grunge streaks. For the amount that i paid for a 3 hr work, it looks like they cleaned max 1 hour. I really wish i would of been present to see how and what they actually cleaned. One can typically smell the cleaning products after a thorough wash and my apartment smelled the same as to when i left this morning. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of details they go into making sure your apartment/loft is absolutely immaculate by the time they leave. Twice I have turned to this company for housecleaning service. They are on time and careful. I appreciate their thoroughness and honesty. The first time they texted to report my windows were very dirty and offered to wash them all at a reasonable price. They did a great job. The second time they accidentally broke a dish. Instead of hiding it like other house keepers have done, they texted me a photo of the broken dish with an apology. I understood as I had left some dishes close to the edge of the counter. I think I got a new and inexperienced team at my unit. Very slow and inefficient. The 2 workers spent over 1 hour together in a bathroom! And the bathroom is tiny and in good shape since we have monthly professional cleanings and in general clean up after ourselves. I really wanted to like oranges and lemons..they have so many positive reviews. I liked that they would call/text 10 min prior to appointment to check in, and that there would be a preliminary walk through of the apartment to go over what would get done or show specific things that I wanted clean, however none of these procedures happened. For a positive note customer service did try to make things better by offering to send the team back out the next day. When I turned the service down, ( I could not wait and cleaned everything they missed) they provided me a small discount to my bill total. read more

Oranges & Lemons is the best cleaning service I've ever used. Every time they come to my studio apartment, they leave it far cleaner than it was when I moved in, and they always do small additional things to make your space more comfortable and to add that personal touch. For example, last time they organized all of my shoes (which were previously in a pile in my closet). The time before that, they also organized all of my old grocery bags which I had just stuff in a cupboard under the sink. The ladies who clean are kind, trustworthy, and I am completely comfortable leaving them to clean while I go run errands. And if I do ever have questions or concerns, they respond immediately via email or text and are incredibly accommodating. They clogged my shower drain and didn't have the decency to tell me before leaving. Then when I asked them about it, they blamed it on the old building's pipes. Sigh, I typed 8 paragraphs only to have it all unsaved because I didn't confirm my email. Because I'm not a yelper, I'm a yelp lurker. Okay let's condense this and try again because I don't want to retype another report. So here's a story: I rented a place for a few years and in those few years, I didn't clean my bathroom. The only "Cleaning" that happened was when I got out of the shower and that body dripping shower water happened to clean the floor. Okay so you can imagine that after a few years, the place gets grimy and hairy. But not moldy because I'm an essential oil type of person. Okay so one night, I was at Ralphs and I saw a shopping cart ad for this place. They were advertising professional cleaning services for....$25...FLAT. Not hourly, FLAT. For the bathroom. Hell yeah! So for that price, I didn't expect spectacular results, I just wanted a "Front line" to prep the battlefield as I come in later to bayonet the stragglers. Oh.. but no... they did more than be a front line. They NUKED the place. What was grime and hair turned into an absolute pristine situation. LITERALLY JAW DROPPING. It even smells like oranges and lemons. From what I noticed, they had this power cleaning machine thing that looks like a vacuum and they carried an assortment of natural/safe cleaning products. Only let's crunch some numbers and comparisons. When I was a younger lad, I was like gung ho on being on my own and buying all the stuff to prep for the solo living adventurer. That means an All-in-one cleaning kit from Costco. $40. But I hardly used it. If you use mops and such, you will know that after a few uses, it gets nasty. Sure it can still be used but you'll never keep it like new for your next cleaning and like all things, it depreciates. Plus you need to store that shizz somewhere. So think, depreciation costs and storage costs. And then cleaning products. Not only do you have to buy and store that shizz too... you have to worry about what issues it may cause if handled improperly. Did you know that certain compounds, if mixed, causes FATAL GASES? Like you clean one day and the next day, BAM! your in the hospital. Do you want to risk that? So anyways, they came. a BEAUTIFUL young redhead/blonde and a buff latin dude. Both college or post college looking types. Professional and courteous. Because mine was never professionally cleaned, they spent a lil extra time but it was still $25 FLAT. So honestly, this is freaking awesome. I'm not a negative poster, nor am I guy who cares for writing positive reviews if it's unpaid. But this business is seriously a gem. The reason the cost is low is because they can get so much business in these stacked lofts amongst these skyscrapers. They won't operate outside of downtown. Schedule your appointments early because they fill up fast. This may or may not be my ONLY review but it literally deserves my input. read more

When I made my quote I requested the add on's of the refrigerator and the oven being cleaned and I was so very much looking forward to that! I was so excited yesterday to get home to my clean sparkly apartment however I was highly disappointed. Refrigerator never touched, oven never cleaned. WOW. I needed to update my review for two reasons: 1. I recently called Oranges and Lemons again to have my loft cleaned before my birthday, and again they did an AMAZING job, once again. Not only did they do an amazing job, they must have really taken my initial review to heart, because they wiped down the inside of my windows AND they put all the dishes away after they washed them. I couldn't be happier with the job they did. I am impressed. (And I am hard to please). 2. When they were here this time, one of the girls accidentally broke a wine glass. She asked me how much it cost so that she could replace it or reimburse me, and I told her not to worry about it because it was not a big deal...accidents happen.
