Thank you for this little touch of excellent customer as we got coffee to end our trip to Kennedy Space Center.

The Orbit Cafe provides food in a stitch! Their ordering system reminds me that of McDonalds where there's vertical screens where you pick and choose what you want, pay, gather the receipt, and wait for your number to be called. Before walking away, be sure to double check your order with what you're given - I saw several families walk back and forth reclaiming missed items. My order was small and simple of just a chicken sandwich and side salad. There's a condiment station next to the pickup window to which you can also jazz up your sandwich with tomatoes, onion, pickles. The space itself can get pretty loud and hectic but there's a side area that's more quiet and introvert-friendly. The state of the tables are a hit or a miss, some parts of the restaurant looked like a mess or tornado came through with brown smears + stains all over the floor or chairs (eek). Just be mindful of where you walk/sit to dodge the sticky parts! The chicken sandwich itself was not too shabby, jazzed it up with some BBQ sauce, mayo, veggies offered. The salad tasted fresh and I loved the vinaigrette it came with on the side.

Napkins are non- existent ha ha . Just turn around the napkin dispenser if it's empty and don't fill the others

Very few times have I written a 1 star review . You have to hit the lowest bar to get a 1 star from me. #1 do not waste your money here #2 Expect poorly cooked food, disgusting eating conditions and how about you forget about ice for you drink the soda you want or better yet napkins. #3 there are truck stop bathrooms cleaner then this place #4 customer service does not exist in this land. The team screams at each other across the table and then you have to hear "I am gonna break my back ". How about the bare minimum sir . Of Thai sounds acceptable to you go ahead if not continue reading my cautionary tale of wasting money !(40+ 1 hamburger 1 regular fry 1 small pizza 2 fountain drinks) Went to grab a quick bite kids were hungry it was hott . I didn't expect much it's park food . A quick hamburger pizza cold drinks is all I was aiming for . I expected the hamburger to be dry . That would not have sent me over the edge . What did you ask ! Soda machines out of soda and ice . When we asked just go to another machine that's great service ! Instead of refilling the napkin holders which seems simple we turn around the napkin dispenser and just don't fill the others . Dirty tables disgusting floors and go ahead take up your side job cleaning tables while on vacay. We asked for a refund on the soda to be brushed off , if I can't get the soda I would like feel like a reason for a refund. Terrible customer service . Absolutely never again ! Do not waste your money here's ever!

At Orbit Cafe at the Kennedy Space Center, you order by kiosk; order cannot be customized. I specifically didn't want my $14 salad drenched in dressing, but on the side. Had to yell over the glass counter to address this with the staff. Plus my daughter did not want tomatoes on her burger. Instead, I suggest eating at Space Bowl inside the Gateway. For the same price, there's better quality food that can be customized.

Orbit Cafe is on of the few choices you have for an eatery at Kennedy Space Center. On my visit the line for ordering wasn't too long, but there were plenty of people waiting on their food to be ready. There are signs up suggesting you skip the line and use their app to mobile order, so with the limited cell signal I had, I downloaded the app, ordered food, but when it came to pay the app just kept having an error and could not pay, so I wound up getting in the short line to order from the kiosk. Ordering was pretty straight forward, similar to ordering at a McDonald's or other fast food establishments that have these order kiosks. While it took less than a minute to order and pay for the food, it took about another 15 minutes to stand in line with many other patrons waiting for my number to be called. Finally when seated and eating I was pleasantly surprised at how good my chicken strips actually were. Other than the wait for the food, and the fact that none of the plastic utensil despensers worked, the experience was very pleasant. A worker was constantly going around and cleaning off tables, and there was no trash on the clean floors.

My friend and I had lunch here. They had several kiosks for you to place your order. There was quite the crowd when we were there, so they had a couple of employees there taking food orders the old fashion way. There were other food options at the complex, but it all looked to be average at best. I ordered a cheeseburger with a small side salad. It reminded me of school cafeteria food.

Food is decent for "park" food. Cafe serves salads, hot sandwiches, burgers, fries, and a few kids options. Condiments are minimal but all staples are available (ketchup, mustard, Mayo, lettuce, tomato). You order at a kiosk and then pick up at a numbered counter. Your assigned counter number is printed on the receipt. I did not see an option to order with an actual person, so that would be an issue for those who cannot or do not want to use the kiosk. Food came out very quickly (less than 5 minutes for 4 entrees). There is plenty of seating and the space is very bright due to lots of windows.

    Lines to order at kiosks.

She was so fun & helpful and just the right amount of attentive, even on a very busy night. The live music topped it all off. I didn't catch his name but he sang 90s rock and it was great! And I don't typically like live music at a restaurant. We actually decided to come to Ryan's because the place we had dinner had a band and it was not enjoyable at all. It was a rough week for me and my friends - the fun, light night was exactly what we needed. Thank you! I would love to know more about when that guy is there would love to see him again. American tacos served with black beans or another side., typical cheap tacos, flour tortillas ground beef with taco seasoning, lettuce tomato and cheese, with a sour cream drizzle. They were okay, nothing to write home about. The biggest detractor was the ground beef filling It was very watery and was a mess to eat what with the liquid dripping everywhere. Everyone enjoyed the company and were okay with the food they ordered. They have music sometimes and happy hour specials on drinks.

It was just as good as I remembered... excellent pizza and specials. I ordered salmon with a sweet thai sauce over mashed potatoes and spinach. It was topped with a few plump shrimp, and it was delicious! One of the best meals I'd had in a while. My husband enjoyed his dish as well which was a pasta with a cream sauce and mussels. Unfortunately the dish lacked the pieces of lobster that we were told it would include, but the dish tasted great. Our boys enjoyed their pizza. I'd give the food 5 stars. Overall, I'd give the restaurant 4 stars. I knocked off a point just because it took a while for our server to acknowledge us, and the ambiance was nice enough but not 5 stars quality. I'd certainly visit again if I were in the area.

Service: We walked in and were told to sit wherever, we wanted outside but it was too dark and the tables were dirty. We decided to sit inside so we could see each other and our food. We waited 10 min for menus and listened to employees argue over whose table we were. NOTE:(I counted between cooks, servers, etc... 11 employees) once we got menus we ordered drinks and food. While ordering pizza we were told that all toppings cost extra. So the advertised price of a pizza was cheese only. Kinda of disappointing to not include a topping or two for that price. We ordered an appetizer that took approx 15-20 min to come out and then the pizza followed shortly after approx. 35 min. We weren't offered drink refills until after our pizza showed up. Once our food came the waitress seemed a little more attentive with drink refills and asking how our food was. But overall the service was disappointing. Food: The appetizer we ordered was deep fried ravioli with marinara. They tasted like they were frozen and the centers were lukewarm. On the plus side I did enjoy the marinara but wished there was more of it. Once the pizza came it was over cooked, lacking toppings and the cheese didn't go all the way to the crust. The dough tasted like it could've been great if not overcooked but I can only go off what I got. I'm sure this place does well with tourists as it's near that area of cocoa beach but my wife and I will not be going back for the above mentioned reasons. It's a shame when you can get better pizza from a chain type place.
