Dined-11/17/24: Came in for brunch after hiking. Must say this place is a hidden gem! I had the Sunday Sammy & my friend had the Shakshuka Skillet. My friend ordered her eggs fried hard (vs over easy) which is how the dish is served and fit since reason they brought out her eggs on the side vs in the dish. It was very saucy for me but she enjoyed it. My Sunday Sammy was no special dish but it was tasty! I heard this place is known for their pizza so looking forward to having some. Service was good & it's located to another restaurant and mini shops for dessert. Cons: like most places in the uptown/midtown area, parking could be a beast and you may need to park in the neighborhood (not sure how the residents feel about that). It's not your typical brunch spot so they don't have many brunch option...I think lunch/dinner is their forte. Overall, it was tasty & I'm looking forward to try their pizza. read more

Cannot comment on the food. We went there on a Thursday evening and waited for a few minutes for the hostess to seat us at a dusty table outside. We had to request that the seats be wiped down so that our pants would not get dirty. Then we sat as multiple servers and the hostess passed us by without a glance for 15 minutes. No acknowledgment of our presence, drink order, or a greeting assuring us that they would be right back. We got up and left. Pretty sure we were not missed by the clueless staff. read more

I visited Orchard Tavern for a much-needed girls night! The old Americana ambience is charming! The bar is a great spot, if you just wanna show up! The servers (Chelsey), management, and ownership definitely contribute to this classic neighborhood feel. We had the most amazing dinner here at Orchard Tavern and Aviva was our exceptional waitress. Everything from our greeting at the door to the meal was perfection and you know you love it when you can't wait to come back again! My friend who wanted to treat me for dinner said we could go anywhere and this place popped into my mind because we had never been! Only open 8 months we were very lucky to come early and have an exceptional meal. From the fig appetizer to the cheddar biscuit pot pie with a grand finale of the cinnamon roll baked with caramel apple. We shared everything and it was delicious! The atmosphere is beautiful and you can't go wrong with this Devine dining experience. My only criticism and I let them know was I felt it may have had too much pepper in the pot pie and I wish there were bread served at the beginning. I know my husband and I love bread and I bet they would serve a great one. We WILL be back to try the pizza for sure. And dessert is a must if the have that specific cake again. read more

Brought some friends here as we like Luci's which shares the property. The place has a great ambiance and the menu looked fantastic. My party got the BBQ wings to start. They were great and the portion and size of the wings were impressive. For entrees we got the chopped salad, a pizza, a soup, and a burger (figgy piggy) and all said they enjoyed their choice. Staff was attentive and the bathrooms were clean. Great spot to watch your fav game with lots of options of seating inside or outside. Parking was easy enough but I can see that being a challenge if they were much busier. We got a reservation which is recommended. We will be coming back to try some other things on the menu. read more

Good: Food was genuinely good. My wife had the Chicken Pot Pie, which needed a little salt, but had good flavor and was great on a cool evening. I had one of their burgers, and really thought it was good (enjoyed the sidewinder fries!). We were on our way to a show and stopped in for a quick bite, and the kitchen did an amazing job getting our food out quickly. Bad: The service was atrociously bad. Started off good...waitress was on the ball at the start, but after she delivered our food, she vanished for the rest of the meal. We didn't see her anywhere in the restaurant for the rest of our meal--no checking so see how we were doing, no running drink refills, and she didn't even bring the check (we had to flag down another member of the staff for our bill). We both had soft drinks, and those were not refilled during the entire meal, despite me drinking mine in the first ten minutes after we got them. So kind of a mixed bag...it's a quirky charming place with decent food, but the service left a lot to be desired. read more

I was so excited when we decided to try this place! The menu looks great, something for everyone presumably, the ambiance is on point, modern and stylish. Instagram worthy even! Has a vintage vibe inside the bar as the bar is original but all the tables, chairs, design is all new and the bathroom has an old school sink with interesting tile work. However... our entire party was disappointed with the food and drinks... We ordered the garden board which doesn't mention that it is covered in a chutney chimmichurri or brussel sprouts. The pitas and hummus on the board were pretty good but please skip the Brussels and put the sauce on the side! The "laugh now, cry later" tastes like cough syrup...it's a cool concept but needs serious work. When we received our entrees I was confused by the presentation and so was the server! She didn't know what she was giving us... Even worse, the main fish & chips and the kids entrees were served in wide bowls, not plates. There wasn't enough room and they put the ketchup and tartar sauce ramekins on top of the food!! I have never seen a restaurant put their sauce ramekins on top of the food. That was so weird! The fish itself was tough and rubbery, the batter was not crispy it was soggy and gross. The sidewinder potatoes have potential but you can taste the oil they cooked them in was old. My child's chicken was terrible and obviously from frozen. Now the brisket my husband ordered was not smoked and looked like something from a school cafeteria. They drowned the brisket in half a bottle of BBQ sauce to try to hide the poor quality. The cheddar biscuit on the brisket plate was creative and delicious, have to give that credit! The service was mediocre, they didn't offer to fix any of our food or drinks or even ask if everything was okay. When we left I spoke to the bartender who seemed to be the only manager-ish person there. When I told him about how bad the food was he suggested we should come back and try the pizza. We shouldn't have to only order certain menu items...he didn't offer anything else to encourage us to return even though we had just spent $160 on terrible food. I know this is a new place that just opened... but I am struggling to give it even 2 stars...the 2 stars are only for the ambiance, potential and the cheddar biscuit..but that's a stretch. read more

They had both an indoor and outdoor space for our party, fire pits, a well organized food area, and a bartender. Everything was set up beautifully and they were really easy to work with. So this place is very intimate. Great for a date night however it is family friendly which i appreciated since this specific day was a mommy daughter date. The host and the bartender worked with each other to get everyone seated though it was busy. I was not a fan of the wet table i sat at but the experience did get better. I had a bottled spring water and a chefs hummus boards, and the roasted brussels which were a little to roasted for my taste. However.... The pita breat on the board sent me to another universe. and my 1 year old had chicken tenders and fruit. The chicken was cooked perfectly and my daughter ate a good amount for her little size. I decide to get the churro waffle ice cream sandwhich and it really is a show stealer. The waffle and ice cream compliments each other well. My waiteress was friendly and frequently checked in. Our food was taking a little longer so they unexpectedly brought out the cinnamon roll to share- very sweet of them but we weren't in a rush. However the cinnamon roll was delicious! Our food came shortly after and was outstanding. The pumpkin flapjacks are huge, but my son loved them! Steak and eggs were great, but the avocado toast was our favorite! The ambience at this place is chill, but nice with the inside tavern feel, and the outside patio. The servers are also personable and helpful. The burgers are the bomb, as well as the fish and chips. I did try the French dip, and while the fries were very good as well as the toasted bun and au jus, the meat tasted like it had been reheated, and there wasn't very much of it. The pizza looked great at the table next to us. This place is well worth visiting and we will return to try more on the menu read more

The food here was pretty good, sampled various appetizers and pizzas for a group gathering. The other positives were that they had several mocktail options for cocktails that were good! That helped offset the slow service, even for a group it felt slow given there was plenty of staff and not many other people there. A suggestion would be to fill drinks up a bit less. When this was Pomelos, it was my favorite, but now it's so much better. Kind of cozy--not a huge, echo-ing space--but with light. And the outdoor patio is comfy, warm, and with TV. Gluten Free buns that don't fall apart, gluten free pizzas... their take on nachos is yummy. My husband has tried many more of the menu items and has been happy with them all, but especially the deviled eggs, pot pie, CenPho basin, and green chili stew. Their cocktails are beautiful. My husband is working his way through that menu as well. Staff is so friendly and if something is not right, they make sure it gets fixed. It's our go-to place. I made a late minute brunch reservation on open table. It wasn't super busy & we were sat right away. I had breakfast and the bottomless mimosas. Our server was very sweet and attentive! Very nice wait staff and the menu is decent. They are extremely cheap though. Different servers on multiple visits have even commented on how cheap the restaurant is and how much they monitor every expense. We used to go frequently until we just started to feel like they were just really really cheap, and at the expense of our experience. I want to like it more. It's close, and I know times are hard, but they have been cheap way before things were like this with the economy. Back in 2019, they had a server who was scolded in front of customers for not using the measuring block to pour a glass of wine. Sides of ranch are always an extra charge, etc. etc. etc. Better restaurants in the area with better food and certainly a better experience. If they could just loosen their own purse strings a bit, I'm sure they would do a lot better, and their own staff wouldn't be complaining to the customers about how desperately cheap the owners are. read more

I enjoyed this place! We sat outside cuz it was super nice out, but the inside decor was sooo cute! I loved all the stained glass and funny dog decor. Our server was super sweet and attentive! And the food was great! I got a grilled cheese and it was kind of perfect which is hard to do with a grilled cheese. Overdue on posting about our recent visit to Orchard Tavern, what an awesome experience! Right off the bat we were impressed with our server, who introduced herself as Marissa, she was attentive and helpful. She also made sure we always had a drink at hand, and checked in on us throughout our meal to ensure that our orders were correct and that we had everything we needed. My girlfriend works in the industry and so she can be a little critical of service at times, but even she was impressed (and believe me, that doesn't happen often)! Both the food and drinks were top tier, they came out in a reasonable amount of time after we ordered, and the spot itself was just really cool, we loved the atmosphere and the decor. We will definitely be back again, I look forward to trying some of the other menu items I noticed people raving about in the other reviews here. read more
