Great lunch menu. We come here frequently for lunch and dinner. Food is always consistently good. The guacamole is a great appetizer.

I was so excited to see this being built as I am from Arizona where they started. I've already taken several friends and family members here to show them what it's about! The food is always delicious, servers are always friendly and warm, on top of their tables. My only complaint is the toilets. The restrooms themselves are clean but when I went in, both toilets had dried drippings down the base of the toilet. We moved from Chicago a year ago, and boy, do I miss good pizza. Fort Collins just doesn't have a lot of options when it comes to good pizza and good sushi. We really enjoyed Oregano's. The service is fabulous and the open air bar atmosphere is delightful. I was grateful that there were a few options for a girl who likes a simple, fruity, refreshing cocktail. I had the Bellini, and I thought it was very good. I'm used to a syrupy Bellini, but this one featured a bit of chianti along with the peach flavor, which was a nice twist. I'm a foodie, but I think a lot of bars in Fort Collins get a little too cute with their drink menus. I don't like ginger, so mules are out for me, and I really wish I could just get a pear or orange martini without ingredients like "rosemary and thyme simple syrup" or "orange fennel shrub". Sheesh. Anyway, we ordered the pan pizza with sausage and mushroom. It's not a perfect sweet Chicago sauce, but it's close. The crust was thick without overpowering the toppings. We were also lucky enough to try the thin crust- one of the servers was passing out samples. We agreed that it was very good as well and that we'll try it next time. The pan pizza was even better heated up the next day- gave the flavors a chance to meld a bit. Hubby and I are grateful that we now have a place to go when we're jonesing for pizza. Aurelio's in Chicago will always be our first love, but Oregano's is a fun place with a great atmosphere and great food! read more

We are new to Fort Collins and had great memories of Oreganos when we lived in Arizona, so I went with my family tonight. It had been awhile since we had been in and I was indecisive about what to order. The server was patient and came back a few times. We were interested in pizza and pasta and we asked for suggestions. He offered his suggestions and we decided to try out the pan pizza and a pasta dish. I hadn't ever had deep dish style so I was interested in something new. The appetizer was great, pasta was great, but the pan pizza wasn't my preferred style. A little too doughy. The server and host both asked how the food was and I mentioned that the pan wasn't my preferred style pizza, but all was good. I did not find it worthy of complaining because I know a lot of people like it that way... but they went above and beyond and wanted us to be happy with our meal. I almost had to argue that all was good and no big deal- totally just a preference. They were amazing and took care of us and offered alternatives and many apologies in a sincere way. I was impressed and felt bad for even saying anything... but isn't that the kind of service that we would all love when we go out? I don't want restaurants to suffer when they didn't do anything wrong. I know that not every meal that looks appealing will be a win for everyone - it's a risk we take when we go out and try something new. But I'm seriously impressed with how they handled it. A total ripoff. $82.00 for a big house salad(nothing but lettuce 3 croutons, 3 slices of tomato and some cucumber), 3 glasses of wine and the $30.00 pizza. $82.00 for 2 people. Absolutely wonderful! The BEST pizza I have found in Colorado, and we have been here for 20 years, and I am not exaggerating. Right when you walk in you will know you are in pizza heaven. Well, I said I'd update my review after trying their deep dish pizza, so here I am! The family went last night, and ordered the Boom Dip (spinach, artichoke and cheese), which was delicious. We used to love Oregano's pizza. Their deep dish used to be the best in town. Went there today. Was told they changed their pizza. The crust used to be amazing. Now it is bland and boring. Pizza had so much cheese it was like eating a processed cheese stick. I am not even sure the crust was completely cooked. So sad. Just had the old pizza a few weeks ago and was amazing. We even received a signed "Happy Anniversary and Birthday Sign that our server Glenn had made for us prior to us arriving and he had the entire restaurant staff on shift that night sign for us. You know that might be really cool thing to do with people celebrating their special nights there at your restaurant to sign a greeting card or flat sign like you did for us. Some places sing, some places give a sundae, but a signed memento from everyone at the restaurant is like wow we are here for you. That's how you made us feel that much more special. My experience at Oregano's was extraordinary. From start to finish. We were greeted promptly by the host and our server. We ordered a sandwich and I ordered the Riga Tony and it was amazing. I am a chef at a local restaurant and I have to say this was just wonderful. The dish was seasoned perfectly. You get a very large portion. Great prices. Sunday evening 5:45. Walked in with a group of 13. They promptly seated us in the back room (similar to a party room but we had to push the tables together ourselves). It seems if they had room to seat us, they would also have staff to serve us. It took awhile for a person to show up so we ordered for the 6 kids immediately. Their food came out within 10 minutes (pizza, pasta, chicken). Then the adults ordered. We waited over AN HOUR for our food. It's pasta and sandwiches, how long could it possibly take? The wait staff blamed it on the kitchen being backed up from all of the carry-out orders. Understandable. We asked for condiments to go with our sandwiches. Ten minutes later and 3 trips to find the waitstaff, we finally got our two small containers of mayo and dressing. Next we asked for carry out boxes. Another 10 minutes. Those last two things have nothing to do with the cooks in the kitchen, it's just poor service and poor management. Had we known how it would go, we would've ordered off the kids menu and saved ourselves some time! Also, I've noticed the veggie sandwich in Ft Collins is not as good as the veggie sandwich in Phoenix. If I decide to waste my money there again, I'll only do carry out. However, this is not likely as my experiences there have diminished drastically. read more

Great service and food. First time there after driving past way to many times. My daughter's pasta smelled amazing and she worked hard to save enough for tomorrow's lunch even with generous portions. Wife's lasagna was some of the best she ever had. I loved my salad which was a mountain but I finished it. The sauce is a bit different than usual sauces (a little thicker???), which I really like, but the rest of my family is not a fan. I would say that this is one of my preferred pizza places in Fort Collins...there are definitely better pizzas, but it's in my top 5 for sure. My rating of service is a bit different. Of all the times I've ordered, my pizza has NEVER been ready when they told me. I moved to Fort Collins from Phoenix about 5 years ago and was very pleased to see that Oreganos had come to town. One of the first nights they opened, I was able to meet the owner who is very motivated to create a great experience. The food here is wonderful and the atmosphere cannot be beat. If you like to listen to swing music, you will be happy. My favorite things here are the salads and the sandwiches, and of course, the deep dish cheese pizza. You should check this place out. They do a good job managing takeout orders as well. When the weather is nice, try sitting on the patio. The staff is very friendly and will work hard to make sure you are happy. read more
