Came here for an early lunch a couple days ago and sat at the bar with 2 others. The food was amazing, the bartenders were really nice just super super busy and were trying to help so much with other tables that it was hard for them to be more attentive. Food took almost an hour to come out but I believe there was a big party of people so that could've been why. Overall great food and kind servers but understaffed restraunt and for more attentive service probably sit at a table inside :) read more

Fabulous! Loved this place and will be back. We did not realize the pizza takes a bit to cook and got here at 9 and they close at 10 but the waitress still let us order a pizza and so glad we did. We got the bruschetta which really is a huge portion and was so good with all the fresh tomatoes and we got a salad to split. I would totally come here just for salad it was so good. By the time the pizza came all we could eat was one piece but it did not disappoint. It is the closest thing to Chicago pizza I have had. We got the stuffed pizza and the cheese was so stringy and the topping great. We found out the patio is dog friendly too! read more

Oregano's is new in town and is making people happy already. We visited on a rainy Sunday and were seated in the Far East room with a glowing fire in the fireplace. The decor is interesting to look at and the tv in the corner played black and white movies. Today, Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer was playing. The menu is full of unique flavors and is written with a homey, friendly familialtone. There are shareables, pastas, and pizza mostly. Our server suggested the garlic bread with Italian guacamole, it had a cute name, but I can't remember it. We also ordered the stuffed mushrooms. When they arrived, we were surprised how much guacamole there was. It was good. The stuffed mushrooms were okay, but they seemed like they were premade and then warmed as the texture was undercooked and cool in the middle. The plate arrived cold and two of us commented that we were surprised that they weren't served hot. The best part of our meal arrived in the anti-pasta salad! It is huge and full of good things, including cheese stick croutons. We ordered two of the thin crust pizzas and we liked them, but both kids mentioned that the crust was not their favorite. One of our pizzas had a piece stick to the oven when it was being removed. Our server said they were making us a whole new one to make up for it. That was nice and we certainly would have never asked them to do it. As we had so much food already, we wish they would have instead offered to remove a portion of an appetizer that we already had eaten, but we weren't given any choice. Positives are: lots of parking, good service, very clean, lots to look out, good food. One thing we wished we could change was the temperature in the room. The air was still turned on and even our servers kept coming over and standing by the fire to warm up. Most of the diners kept their coats on and that in itself should be a clue to turn on the heat. read more

The restaurant decor was great but the food and service was not good. We ordered a pan pizza and pasta plate. The pasta dish had such a strong lemon flavor that is was almost to tart to eat. The pizza was ok but didn't have enough sauce. The real bummer was our waitress totally forgot about us and it wasn't even busy. So the food is always consistent and the portions are HUGE and often time shared family style. Izzy is probably the best waitress I have had in Fort Collins! Five stars because the food was all really good. Very rich, with large portions, so easy to share. Three stars because they don't really have tables, so if you're 6+ (we had 8) they're cramming you into a booth for 6 anyhow. The Boom Dip was delicious. A nice (dare I say light?!) variation of spinach artichoke dip that isn't full of cream cheese and mayo. The bread that comes with is great - try it in the peppery alfredo too!. Stuffed pizza almost sends you to Chicago. Crisp buttery crust filled with toppings, stretchy cheese and sauce. I do recommend that, if ordered, ask if they can toast the garlic first. Raw garlic was kind of disappointing, but easy to remove once discovered. The Bollo Pasta was great too. A giant bowl of angel hair (capellini) covered in sauce. The marinara is sweet, but rounds out with a spicy kick. The alfredo has all kinds of roasted peppers in it, and I kind of wished I'd ordered the Alfredo the Dark. This is a nice twist on Italian, and different than your typical chain. We look forward to going back often to try out the many other things their extensive menu has to offer. read more

We read reviews on yelp, and had heard from friends how great this place was and thought we'd try this on a ever rare date night. Everything we've read is right on! Prices are great, especially when considering how large portions are. Our server, busser, and entry staff were all on par for friendly customer service and food suggestions (we got bruschetta and pizza, all on suggestions). Yum! I'm thankful that we were disclosed early in about time frame for each style of pizza, which is no big deal, it was a date night! My mom and I decided to try Oregano's after hearing a rave review from my co-worker. We were greeted by a friendly staff and our waiter, Jeff, was on top of it! Since it was my first time in, I asked him to suggest a meal for me. His choice, THE ANTIPASTO THING, really hit the spot. We were shocked at the size of the entrees, and amazed at the flavor. Huge portions and a large menu with many options. The decor is cute and very family-style. Service was a bit slow after more than an hour's wait, but our waitress was friendly and funny. I have celiac so was not able to eat their gluten free pizza due to cross contamination, but did enjoy a "big" Caesar salad which was in fact huge. We went in around 8 pm on a Saturday night and were greeted at the door by a very friendly, welcoming hostess. We asked to sit in the bar and the hostess told us it was open seating and to go ahead but ran ahead of us to make sure the table was cleaned off and we had menus. Our server was Autumn. Autumn was so friendly and welcomed us warmly asking us if we'd been in before. Autumn was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the Boom Dip which is huge and can be easily shared with a few people. The bread, the Italian Chips are delicious on their own. The spinach artichoke dip was delicious too. It had just the right amount of cheese and seasonings. We also enjoyed a pizza and some Alfredo the dark. The Alfredo is made with pepperjack cheese and has a bit of spice to it but not too much. The noodles were cooked perfectly!!! Autumn was not only are waitress, she was also making our drinks. The Mojito was tasty and refreshing. She's a great bartender!!! Overall the service was excellent, the food was tasty and fresh and the cocktails were refreshing. Autumn is a wonderful server and a great asset to Oreganos. She is very knowledgeable about the menu and can provide customers with great suggestions. She is enthusiastic about the food and the job she does. Food tasted amazing (loved the spices), I had the Alfredo the Dark with 2 huge sausages (and when they say huge, they mean HUGEEE) and my friend had the El Diablo Shrimp Pasta. In town on vacation came in with 3 children and my wife. Wait was short and the staff was amazing, very kinda and helpful. We had the artichoke dip, amazing, as a starter. The kids had a thin crust cheese and pepperoni pizza which was perfect for them, if we had more time we'd have done the deep dish as we had a sample before the meal, it was excellent. I order the Diablo pasta and added the Italian sausage, the sausage is amazing don't leave without trying it, the pasta was excellent. My wife had the sausage sub and enjoyed it as well. This place was an absolute disappoint. We went here a week ago. The 2 stars are for the service and service alone. The food was an absolute disaster. Cheap ingredients, no flavor or taste. Food practically tasted like cardboard. In which world does "Italian Fried Potatoes" mean Waffle Fries. The wings were way too salty. The pizza was terrible. The sandwich was somewhat decent. My family came here opening night and was not disappointed. We moved to FoCo from AZ, so we are very familiar with Oreganos and dining there the other night was like saying hello to an old friend. My husband ordered the BBQ chicken pizza on thin crust and it was delicious. The addition of green onions really added a depth of flavor. I ordered the big house salad with chicken. It was a great salad and the grilled chicken was nicely seasoned, adding to rather than taking away from the other ingredients. Our kids enjoyed the chicken basket with waffle fries. Our server, Rachel, was fantastic. She checked in on us to make sure our needs were met and was not overbearing. Other staff members dropped by or just greeted us as we passed. The atmosphere was so welcoming, comforting, and not pretentious in the least.
