I was really hesitant to try this place because, as a rule of thumb, I tend to stay away from chains-- they typically have issues with consistent quality control. After thoroughly looking through the reviews, I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. I love thick crust pizza and although it doesn't come close to what you get in Chicago, it was pretty good. I don't know if I'd go back because the price doesn't warrant the dishes, but I have to give credit where it's due, and this place was a very solid 3 stars. Food was excellent! We got the Cajun chicken pasta and split it and still had some left over. Services was good. Atmosphere was really nice. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed our time. Had White Russians which were well made and also some good red wine chilled to a perfect temperature. The menu has a variety of good choices. Before last night, I had only eaten here once before. Since that was a Friday night and there were extenuating circumstances (we were rushed to get to a movie) I never reviewed, thinking that i may be too harsh. Well, we were seated in the very very back right hand corner of the restaurant. Ok, maybe they like to fill from the back forward... Enter the next party - harrowed mom with 3 kids under 4. Sans hubby - he enters later on. She was paying attention to the baby in her arms, so the oldest was acting out and trying to get the middle girl to follow her lead. They were screaming and yelling and it didn't get much better when Dad got there. Food made their mouths full though, and the place finally quieted down. Food arrives - I had the "Hakuna Pikata" which, while having a good flavor, was gluey in the sauce consistency. My friend had the "ITALIAN FLAG LASAGNA" and didn't eat more than a third of it. He said it was too saucy and the top had a crust he didn't like. The waitress never asked us if we wanted salad, or a new table, or how it was. This place is so fun and so cute! And great food also! The decor is so cool- all very vintage, 1940s-50s and so detailed! The service and staff were all so friendly and welcoming and our server was so sweet with our kids! It was so refreshing to be warmly greeted as soon as we walked in (unfortunately that's more and more rare!)! Honestly, it saddens me and my family to have to write a review this bad but there's no way we're ordering to-go from here again. Every time we order to-go, something is wrong. The pizza is almost always undercooked and just looks awful. There's gotta be some issue with the kitchen because today we got a pizza so undercooked that the dough was stretchable when we opened the box. The wings always come out perfect and the bread is fine so what's the issue with the pizza??? This place is a must have must eat. I ordered the deep dish aka pie pizza. If it does not take 45 mins to an hour then it isn't from Chicago. It took 53 mins. Amazing pizza. Full of everything. We stopped here for dinner after thinking of pizza or pasta for dinner. Our granddaughter had spoken about Oregano's so we gave it a try. Oh my we were not disappointed. The portion sizes are VERY generous. We shared a Julius Caesar salad and a 14 inch specialty meat pizza. Wow we both ate well and still have enough leftovers to share for another meal. I also tried their Blanco Sangria which was delicious as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The service was wonderful with everyone we encountered welcoming us as we walked in then thanking us as we walked out. The ambiance is fun and comfortable providing a pleasant dining experience. One day I looked up Oreganos to see where in Arizona the closest location was and start planning a road trip. I seriously love Oreganos that much and miss it from Arizona. I was in shock when I saw that they opened a location in Colorado and I hadn't even known. So, a road trip was in order. We arrived right as they opened. The service was amazing! I love their shirts! They seem to fit n with Colorado very well. Oregano Dispensary. I kind of want one. We started with the garlic cheese bread. This thing is HUGE and perfect for sharing. I love how cheesy it is and they even shave more cheese on it for you. Drooling. Then I went with the Bollo pasta with chicken. This is an all you can eat pasta bowl of angel hair pasta and shaved chicken topped with delicious marinara and served with even more garlic bread. I usually make it through at least one bowl. In the past I have found excuses to go to Fort Collins just so I could go to Oregano's for their Pan Pizza. Our last visit, we ordered one and it was nothing like the pan pizza we had got in the past. This was more like a thin crust put into a pan. We asked the waitress if they had changed their pizzas and she said it was probably because we ordered it without the crushed tomatoes on top (we always order without). Whenever I am in town, I stop at Oregano's. I also go to town on their pizza and wings. Both are so good. I love the ambiance as well.

My other half and I gave missed Oregon's! We've been to three in Arizona and have missed this place. I was happy to hear this location finally opened and Saturday evening we headed out to Fort Collins . Let me say I missed the flavors and atmosphere . I chose the Zany Ziti with marinara and my guy went with Meat Lasagna. We shared an appetizer ( actually a side) of potato chips with BBQ sauce. Yum! Be warned that preparing and serving your meal takes time but it's so worth it. By the time our food came we were hungry. There wasn't a sound coming from his side of the table at all and he just about finished all of his dish. I had half left on my plate , so I got to take some goodness home. All dishes here can be shared because portions are generous. Try to go easy on appetizers. Yup, I ate too many tasty potato chips. Happy bellies means we'll back. We have loved Oregano's since they opened locations (now, sadly down to one) in Colorado. The folks at the Fort Collins location are incredibly friendly. When I made a to-go order and showed up too early, they offered me a seat and a drink while I waited for food. Hear me out, I know it's a pizza place, but the calamari at Oregano's is one of my favorites! The Lawrence's Original and Clark Street pizzas are both delicious: thin crust that is neither too crispy nor too soft. The best part is that it reheats well. We really loved our first experience here. Although there was a long wait they use a slick notification system that would txt me and it ties in with my yelp app so I could see how many people were ahead of me. We walked around Halloween stuff with the kids at Target and walked back in the restaurant the same time my txt went off. Service was REALLY good. They had lots of staff on to help with expediting and busing tables instead of putting it all on the wait staff. Our server Kaitlyn was excellent. She knew to ask if we wanted the kid items started first and checked in on us often. She even boxed up all our leftovers. The staff who helped deliver items were super friendly as well. We got pizza for the kids and they cut it into easy to handle diamonds. They have dough balls that were like play dough for the kids too which was super cool. I was going to have a Four Peaks Kilt Lifter as it's an AZ exclusive and a fantastic scotch ale but I guess there is a supply shortage. Instead I had the Bellini which I had see a lot of positive comments about. Super yummy and full of good stuff. My wife and I split a house Cesar salad. The dressing was really strong which we really enjoyed. We got a thin crust pizza and did half and half toppings. The cheese and toppings were ample and very good and the crust was indeed thin and crunchy. We originally wanted a pan crust but the waitress was careful to warn us it had a 40 minute wait which we couldn't do with two kids in tow. But she was smart enough to know to mention it to us and let us decide. Great approach. We were not upset at making a different choice and had we experienced that long of a wait without knowing we would have been really unhappy. We really enjoyed our visit to Oregano's! First, the ambience-loved the decor! The TVs showing the old black and white shows were great. The music was also enjoyable, with a mix of swing music mixed with some classic tunes. We had pizza, salads, and pasta which were very good. Can't say enough about the service! Justin was so friendly, made great recommendations, and was very attentive- making sure we had a enjoyable experience. Whatever you are paying him- give him a raise, you really need to keep him as he represents your company so well! The manager, Maverick, dropped by our table and introduced himself. I was in Fort Collins for the summer, and dined here a few times. It's a play on Mexican-Italian which is an unlikely duo, but it works. The pizzas are Chicago inspired deep dish which are close, but not quite authentic. I'll have to say their pasta Alfredo with Mexican pasilla peppers was my favorite. The salads were a big let down, and the sandwich's as well. The lack of staffing during the Covid era could be the reason there's no passion in their cooking. read more
