Don't bother using Yelp's waitlist to get in line at this location. They will tell you that the wait time isn't accurate and you will end up waiting half an hour or longer after the estimated wait time on the wait list. This is the 3rd time we have tried to use their wait list only for it to be wrong and to have to wait an hour when we were told 20-30 minutes. Not sure if the problem is Yelp and Oreganos. Good food. Good service. Just be warned that if you have a party over 15 and want to sit together you will be placed outside. The patio is spacious enough however is lacking a mister system. The swamp coolers are not able to keep up with the summer heat in Phoenix. If your party wants to be inside they will be placed apart where there are open tables. read more

Drove to this location for take-out last night. I had such s craving for lasagna! I didn't like it at all . There was not much flavor and the cheese was thick and rubbery. I use to be a great customer of oreganos, I absolutely LOVED going there for their moms sausage and peppers pasta and since like january they took it off the menu. The Scottsdale location was still making it tho whenever I'd ask for it but this location does not. In general, it overall sucks that they removed this gem from their menu. Looking at the reviews though it looks like oreganos took a lot of good items from the menu. I'm very disappointed because from a customer who would go once every 2 weeks, I haven't been here since I found out they don't have the moms sausage and peppers pasta anymore. bummer read more

I was a bit apprehensive at first trying the stuffed pizza at Oregano's but it was actually pretty good. When you grow up eating pizza in Chicago you expect nothing but the best. The crust was buttery, sauce was okay, and there was a good amount of cheese. The sausage was kind of a disappointment though, it was tasteless and just did not belong in that pizza. Service was horrible .. hostess told us it would be a 35 minute wait, no problem, the woman and I decided to grab a couple drinks at the bar and we ended up just ordering food. Waited 45 minutes till we both realized that people that sat down after us are getting there food.. mentioned to the server about our food and she went to go "check on it", she came out with our wings & pasta, darn thing was sitting on the line for at least over 15 minutes. Chicken was ridiculously cold and so was the pasta with dried chicken strips. Horrible service. I was actually surprised she even brought it out to us, knowing that It was cold and had been sitting on the line for awhile. To sum it up we didn't even eat the cold/dry food. Cashed out and left. Goodyear Az McDowell and Estrella Parkway - They do give a military discount to active duty and guardsmnen however, for Veterans it's a no go. when I asked about the Veterans the waitress got offensive and walked even when I asked for the manager to discuss. Yes I understand they have the the right not to give Veterans a discount. However, I strongly incurrage Veterans not to attend, the waitress walked off, and was arrogant when I asked to talked with the manager and never returned to our table. Well, it's been a couple of months since I last came to Oreganos after frequently visiting and this evening was by far one of the worst experiences I've had. At first there were no issues, we got seated fairly quickly got our appetizer order and drink order in and even our food order! When we received our wings, they looked good, but weren't the right flavor..... Our server had no come by yet, and a few minutes later after receiving the wings, our entrees were brought out by a food runner. The food order was correct (Yay), but you can tell that the food had been sitting for a couple of minutes. The top was cold and only the middle was somewhat hot. There was still no sign of our server until about 10-15 minutes after receiving our food and by that time, we were not happy and just wanted to leave. Not sure how or why my lasagna noodles came out brown but it also didn't taste fresh. When we asked the server he said it comes out like that after going through the oven. My family and I went to have dinner at this location last night we waited about an hour to be seated once we got seated we were able to order an appetizer and start our food order. Three other tables were sat simultaneously those tables each got their food and finish before we could even have our dinner brought. An hour later our waitress comes to tell us that our lasagna was going to be a little longer and that we would need to wait at least 10 more minutes but that she would be reheating our food. So an hour and a half into waiting they wanted us to eat reheated food that the manager said that was going to be reheated twice didn't let us know that the lasagna was going to take an hour to cook we got up and left because we had a toddler with us who is hungry the manager did nothing to accommodate us but be rude and make it seem like it was our fault that we didn't know the lasagna was going to take two hours to cook. I understand it was a busy Saturday night but I guest need to be accommodated and There was no hospitality given by the manager whatsoever her response "well sorry to hear that" I will probably never frequent this location again and advise anybody going there on a Saturday night please avoid ordering the lasagna or talking to the manager on site as they don't care for their patrons . read more

Let me first say we are from Chicago so we know Pizza! We arrived late in the evening and was starving after a long winter storm riddled travel day. Friends recommended Oreganos and it was our first stop after Hertz car rental! The place resembles an old fashioned diner with yard sale acquisitions as it's design theme. We worried that arriving half an hour before closing would cause a rushed experience but were greeted with a smile from the hostess and welcomed by a friendly waiter. We ordered the Favorite salad and the Simple House salad. We were warned that the salads were big enough to share but my wife and I can rarely agree on a selection so we ordered two. Mine was filled with crispy romaine with cucumbers, sliced tomatoes (not especially red or tasty but satisfactory) and peperoccini. They seemed happy to exclude any items you don't like. I selected balsamic vinaigrette which I found tangy and delicious. I ate the whole thing which could easily serve 3 as a side! Now my wife who loves dining out but doesn't often rave about the meal said her olives were smashed instead of sliced and the blue cheese was excessive for her taste so she wished she'd asked for it on the side. She did however enjoy the salad and couldn't finish hers. We shared a 14 inch thin crust pizza with spinach, tomatoes, and basil. The crust was extra thin and I found it delicious. She though the crust on the middle pieces were a bit soggy. I didn't notice a problem but I didn't really eat any middle pieces. I loved the crisp, lightly charred outer crust and the thick gooey mozzarella cheese. We devoured it attacking it from the perimeter and couldn't finish it anyhow so we left the 5 or so inches of the middle on the pan. The biggest surprise is the price. Super reasonably priced. This place gets 3 stars for the following reasons Wait time, they can have empty tables at any given time and will have a wait. If you know your always busy, staff more people... Service, service is always subpar at best. Maybe because they are so busy? See solution to number one... Price, if you get the regular pizza and some sodas it's pretty reasonable priced. The kids meals are what is crazy. 4.99 for pasta, $1 extra for Alfredo sauce, $1 for minimal amount of chicken. That's more expensive and my kid liked it less than Olive Garden. (She doesn't like Olive Garden either if that says anything) In all it's a place to grab a pie once but don't go with kids that don't eat thin crust pizza and be ready to wait. Heck I recommend eating about an hour before you go, you'll be hungry by the time your food gets to you. read more

I hate to give this place 2 stars but after tonight's experience I feel that is what it deserves. I love the deep dish and have always ordered ahead before being sat. The problems started right when we were sat. We told the hostess about our pizza and despite that we still ended up waiting. We even mentioned that we were waiting for a pizza to our server Brianna when she took our drink order. Our server took a very long time to come back and take our food order, we actually had to get someone to call her over. By this time we could see pizzas sitting at the window so we asked her to check on it. After a few minutes we asked a guy to check to see if the pizza that was sitting at the window was ours and it was. He brought it over apologized and said the manager would probably come talk to us. The manager Carl didn't seem to be managing anything. We got the rest of our food minus the calamari which I suspect was never even ordered. Still no sign of Carl even when I motioned that our check was ready he chose to yell over "ill send your server". If there was an option to rate this with a zero star I would . The service was horrible, the manager was unappreciative that we had to sit for 1 hour just for our food to be cold. We had to sit around and continuously watch other customers served that arrived later then we have. When food arrived it was cold to the touch and was taken back to be put in a microwave or under a heating device. Very disappointed is an understatement! Ordered 2 really big Caesars salads and 2 chickens on the side, deep dish chicken pizza with pesto sauce and a kids meal angel hair pasta with marinara sauce. Ordered online or on the phone several times before with no issues but this time totally very disappointed. " Really big " Caesars salad is more like really small salad and extra chicken is not on it's separate container anymore. They have their salads now on a container with compartments half filled with romaine lettuce with a little bit of chicken and the salad dressing. Deep dish pizza is supposed to be chicken with pesto sauce but instead I got mozzarella cheese pizza with pesto sauce which made every bite chewy!!! We love Oreganos, are usual location is on Bell Rd but we moved to Tolleson and had no idea of this location until we googled it. We went on a Saturday evening so naturally it was busy especially being the weekend before Valentine's day. Our wait was long, about 45 mins and honestly we never wait that long anywhere but we did hoping that it would go faster which it didn't but it was ok. We finally got a table and our waiter was Andrew let me say he was great! Very friendly and attentive great waiter! We had never ordered the meat pizza I can't remember the actual name of it but it was so dang good, ordered our usual of medium wings, and the gold, and the Pablo Picasso. Everything was excellent...
