If I could give zero stars, I would. Dealing with Oregon West RV has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. From the start, my gut told me to walk away. When the finance lady called with a loan and payment amount $20,000 higher than what I had discussed with the sales guy, I told them I was not interested. Shortly after, they called back, apologized for "the mistake," and tried to smooth things over. When my wife and I went to inspect the trailer, we noticed water damage on the floor molding. The sales guy assured us, "Don't worry, we'll fix it," and encouraged us to sign the paperwork anyway. I declined and left. The next day, the manager called, apologized again, and promised they would repair the damage before the sale. Against my better judgment--and because we really liked the trailer--we decided to move forward. We signed the paperwork, including the trade-in of our old trailer. Now, 35 days later, the loan on our trade-in is still not paid off, forcing us to make extra payments just to avoid financial repercussions. According to Oregon law, dealerships are required to pay off trade-in loans within 15 days, yet Oregon West RV has failed to meet this basic legal obligation. Unfortunately, the nightmare didn't end there. During our final walk-through, I didn't think to check the status of the holding tanks. When we got the trailer home, my wife pressed the gauge and noticed the sensors showed both tanks were full. Thinking it was a malfunction, I connected the trailer to a disposal hose--only to discover that both tanks were completely full of waste. That's right: we were sold a trailer with someone else's sewage still in it. And the hits keep coming. We were also promised full LP tanks upon receiving the trailer. Surprise, surprise--they were empty. I share this to say: trust your instincts. This dealership is a master class in how NOT to treat customers. They repeatedly ignored red flags, failed to deliver on promises, and made what should have been an exciting purchase into an infuriating ordeal. While I blame myself for ignoring the warning signs, Oregon West RV clearly does not prioritize customer service or uphold even the most basic standards of professionalism. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Proceed with extreme caution if you decide to do business with them--you'll likely regret it. read more

We just bought a destination trailer. First I will say the touring the RV and financing was good and smooth and our sales man was knowledgeable. After two weeks of waiting to pick up our RV we drive 4 hours get there to do a walk through to learn the ins and outs. The guy to show us the new trailer was new and knew nothing about this knob or that switch etc. Once he was done NOT showing us how anything functioned he disappeared. After trying to find an associate to get the floors cleaned ( very muddy day) and waiting and waiting we finally started unplugging pulling in tip outs. looking for a missing pin for the hitch a strap for the battery etc etc. I kept having to walk around the lot looking for someone, anyone Meanwhile with very little attention or help. We were told they would put a TV in the bedroom-nope, then told that if we give a 5 star review maybe we will have a little gift in the RV waiting for us- nope. I asked if propane tanks were full I got told yes absolutely. There are two 7 gallon tanks, we ran out of propane in less than 12 hours of use. We had one empty tank and a half full of another. We really felt that once we signed papers no one gave us another thought. So even though we were happy with the initial purchase. We wasted a whole day 8 hours on the road and two waiting for nothing at the dealership. If we knew how it was going to be we would have had the RV delivered and figured Everything out ourselves since we have to do that anyway. 100 percent a crooked and shady company to do business with! I can NOT say it enough, RUUUNNNN !! this has to be the most crooked ass company around. they begged me for my business. then told me they were gonna make me a better deal than camping world, HA! from the disaster with finance to the joke they call the service department. they are CROOKED ASF! Dean is a puss and avoids my calls . They have had two " inspections " any a detail on our trailer before pick up ... picked up my trailer there were wood shavings from cutting or sanding around our slideout all over the floor and dead bugs in every windowsill... CLEARLY NOT DETAILED! But that ain't my main B**** , my main issue is the way they do business.. dropped my trailer off over a week ago to fix the jacks and water pump and the slideout. they said it was a motor issue then proceeded to tell me I was out of my 90 warranty since I bought my trailer in march ..... they had my trailer for days before i had to call them and found out they said i was past my 90 day. I bought my trailer 60 days ago. They were looking at the last person who bought it and returned it for what I can only imagine is because the same damn issues I'm having now . Told them I'm coming to get my trailer for the holiday camping trip . Now they are telling me they have to completely take out the slide out and make some cuts to it so it doesn't bind up when going in and out . Tell me how this passes two inspections?!! Long story short I should have read the reviews on this shitty company ! I will tell everyone about my experiences here and how horrible the salesman and management is! We stopped by Oregon RV West one Saturday afternoon on the off chance that we may find the starter trailer which we'd been searching for in the last several months. We were a bit fatigued from dealing with the rather aggressive RV dealers in other places but from the moment we met the staff at RV West, it was apparent that we had found a very special RV dealership. The graciousness, transparency, and integrity were present from the beginning. From an honest appraisal of our mid-size truck and what weight it could and most importantly, shouldn't tow, to the seamless negotiations, the final comprehensive walk-through orientation and our trailer pick-up, the staff at Oregon RV West were unswervingly gracious and accommodating, going out of their way to assist us as needed. My husband and I paid cash for a 2024 Grand Villa in Creswell OR...the sale went smoothly (go figure) , and we drove it back 5 hrs to Applegate, had to get a CAT to pull it up our driveway..when we got there, I noticed the guy who did the walkthrough with my husband had left the gas oven on....and the trailer itself was not cleaned....about 2 months later, literally EVERY plumbing piece leaked from the kitchen sink, to the toilet, to the bathroom sink....the shower caulking was coming off, or just not there to begin with...after calling the service dept, they told me I had to drive it back to Creswell for it to get repaired, as they don't have insurance for a mobile repair guy...complete BS and I DO NOT recommend West RV...absolutely not helpful, and the service manager is about as sharp as a crayon. AVOID! read more

Bought a $30k trailer from these guys in March and was super excited! The door needed replaced and they needed to detail it. We were told they got a "brand new door" from Alaska, then it was Canada? Went to pick it up....2 MONTHS later (waiting on the door) and this is what we got... They CUT the damaged bottom of the door off, put new trim around it and hung it center with an inch too short on top and an inch too short on bottom. You could literally see air. Appearently they didn't think we would notice? My option was they could "fix" the existing door...add metal? ‍or get a whole new door... new door please! They ordered a brand new door and frame, and hung the door crooked, then applied 3 different types of weather strip to fill the gaps, and bent the brand new door trying to close it. Jim ended up fixing it himself, it literally took 30 minutes. They didn't clean it AT ALL. We took it all the way back to Eugene and was told it was detailed.... really? They didn't touch it. I rented a rug doctor today, and that water tells a different story! I am NOT a Happy Camper!!! Do NOT go there!!! Our bad. Lesson learned. read more

I seriously, with all my heart, wanted to be able to leave a great review.. Seriously. We will begin with the good: Amber rocked! She was responsive and helpful. I highly recommend her. The purchase went smoothly enough aside from the fact that I was really not able to make sure everything worked. Apparently their battery system didn't provide enough "juice" to inspect most things. I knew I was purchasing used, therefore I did not expect perfection, but I definitely expected operational. The bad: The unit was delivered in the rain (Northwest, so expected), but 2 days later, when the rain stopped, we noticed a serious leak near the water heater. The pressure relief valve was so coated in calcium, it had to be replaced right away. You cannot tell me that wasn't noticed in their "thorough" inspection prior to listing it for sale. Next, there is NO way to pull the handles to empty the waste: black or gray.. They REFUSE to budge. I have contacted them several times. No return call; no assistance. I have been requesting an owners manual since BEFORE I bought the unit. Kept being put off. Called Forest River.. they don't have any past 2015. Which leads me smoothly into the fact that they sold me a purported 2012 Forest River Cardinal 3625.. hmmm. Problem is, Forest River didn't manufacture that model after 2011. All of my paperwork and the bank paperwork is listed as a 2012, but Forest River says NOPE.. My advice: For used it is a pretty solid dealership, but do not expect ANY follow up after purchase. If you are told the battery won't allow you to inspect items, walk away until they get FULL hookups on the unit you want.. FULL HOOKUPS.. Can't stress this enough.. FULL hookups. Without that, you could be like me; a senior, single woman, in a non-functional unit, and paying through the nose to ensure I have a freaking BATHROOM! read more

Didn't even get to the lot. Apparently the salesperson was absent the day they taught negotiations in salesmanship school. I'm in need of a nice RV fast after a previous sale fell through. We know what we like and have been conducting really positive, quite frankly fun, negotiations across 4 different states for a few weeks now. My wife saw an older, but very nice model on RV Trader in a few different states. We have cash in hand, she said make them an offer...so I did. 4 different offers in one morning to be exact. I got 3 responses, all counter offers with actual sticker prices attached. But apparently they don't need to sell things at this dealership. I did offer a cash price (way below listed price) for this older, but really nice model. Accidentally sent duplicate offers from RV trader. One response was the typical "we already have an offer", no big deal I figured as much. The second response from Ashley called my offer offensive? Never had a real salesman turn down cash money, and then go straight to alienating the customer. No bother suggesting a different model in my range or just politely suggesting that offers too low, here's my counter, like 3 other dealers selling the exact same rig. Let's just be rude. When I sent her a return email, I made some suggestions she didn't like much either, so she took that as another opportunity to call me offensive and assert that she doesn't need to do business we "someone like me". For offering too little? I don't feel happy...isn't that your motto? Way to plug that "family" atmosphere. Unfortunately for you I'm in a bind and my budget is actually much higher then that, but way to engage your customer. No thanks, I'll drive to Idaho for my "pipe dream" $5000 more expensive, but still a hellofa deal. I wish I owned a business that could throw $20,000 cash out the window, because my employee has a thin skin. You work on commission right? Do yourself a favor, buy elsewhere. read more

We had a horrible experience here about a year ago. The first visit, after we drove about 90 minutes to see a trailer we talked to them about online, it seemed great. They were very helpful, super informative. They walked us around to several different trailers to get a feel for what is out there since this was our first travel trailer that we were looking to buy. We went back home and decided to buy it, so we started the paperwork with our credit union, negotiated a price, talked about what repairs/updates that we wanted, and set up the time to sign everything at the credit union the next day. I received a message from Oregon West RV asking about what was going on after we had done this back and forth and I immediately called them back to say we were signing the documents the next day and they should receive them soon. Since we had had several conversations about the process, and they even had sent the purchase order to my credit union... I assumed they were on the same page. As I'm on the phone letting them know our appointment was at 4pm the next day, the woman tells me, "sorry, looks like he just sold the trailer to someone else." I asked them what the point was of going back and forth and why did they even send the purchase order or bother to do any negotiation if they were just going to sell it to someone else. She indicated they didn't have a deposit, which they never even asked for. Since we were so interested in this trailer, we definitely would have put down a deposit if they had asked to secure it. I feel what they did was completely unprofessional and makes me never want to do business with them. I will make sure to tell anyone that I know to avoid this company at all costs, go somewhere else and don't waste your time!!!! read more

RUN AWAY!!!!! We purchased a 2015 Hideout in March. We were shown this trailer prior to them detailing it, and someone had tried to break into it and pried on the bottom of the door causing damage. The agreement was that Oregon West RV would put a brand new door in it and clean it. We left it with them for the repair and cleaning. Almost 2 months of hounding them, they called and said they found a door in Alaska, then a different sales person said it was Canada. Another month later, it was ready to pick up. We showed up and made the mistake of trusting them and not inspecting it. We got it home, and noticed that the door was an inch too short on the top and an inch too short on the bottom..... they CUT the bottom of the damaged door and put it back on, And they did not clean it!! I was LIVID. I called and was told they would make it right and either put a brand new door on it, but it would be black, not tan because Keystone doesn't make the color of the trailer anymore or they would rebuild the old door. Rebuild a door you cut and is now 2 inches too small?? We requested the new door and jam and waited an additional month. We went to pick it up today (1hr45min away) and they put the new door and jam in CROOKED again!!!! They offered too keep it and "fix" it, but we were so pissed we just took it home for my husband to fix. They put 2 layers of foam weather strip in to hide the gaps and didn't even caulk the new door all the way around! Biggest JOKE EVER!!! Please save yourself the stress, money, time, and heartache and do NOT buy from these crooks!! read more

WORST PURCHASE EVER. After many run ins re: issues of tow hitch, which they had told me clearly my nisaan Morano would be able to be fitted and be able to haul the 2018 RETRO (used 8 months used). After many run ins and problems, trailer was delivered. Purchase was made in May and now that it is December with rains, have found serious leaking to one side of bed, leaking from top along seam and into closet, have to constantly mop up water/moisture. Now that I have looked over this, it can be easily seen to have been in some accident to that corner, someone had hid and mast the damage, but did not correct the damage. Also, was told the paneling was birch, the moisture has now exposed what was actually a thin wall paper over the veneer, which now in such a short time is beginning to look cheesy and cheap.....MY RECOMMENDATION WOULD BE TO STEAR FROM THE LOT, NOTHING BUT LIES. read more

My husband and I are very disappointed in this dealership. We went to them because all we had hear was all good. They were very nice and helpful when we bought our trailer. Since then not so much. We have had quite a few problems with our new trailer. Would not buy this brand ever again or recommend it. My husband called the main number. The person transferred him to the service department. Noone answered so he left a message. Noone called him back so I called a couple days later. Again right to voicemail. Left a message. Again no one called us back. We were told to expect great service after the sale. Also asked us to call them first if anything went wrong. Well that hasn't happened. Very discouraging trying to do business with these people. Read all the reviews and decide for yourself. I called and left message three days ago for Kyle and wanting to get one simple question answered but no return call so I called today two times before someone who call himself Ray answered the phone. he said someone would call me back. After an hour had passed I did not get a phone call but I received a text message asking if a person named Naomi could call me WHAT A TEXT MESSAGE?? How unprofessional can you get. I replied back that I had been waiting for a call and thank you, Then I get another text saying I could call her when I wanted. So again I was the one calling. I had a very simple question which I was not even offered a chance to ask when talking to Ray and she could not answer it either and said there had been many many customers there every day since the fires which I find hard to believe since I have friends who had been there recently and left not happy. I was in hopes of negating some of the reviews here but found out that the negatives written are most likely right on. Very, very happy with Oregon West RV Service. I took my '72 Roadrunner in for roof repairs and seam sealing. They treated me and my vintage travel trailer like jewels. Even though they were very busy, they got my trailer in more quickly than anywhere else in town, and their rates were better than anywhere else in town. The person who did the repairs took pictures of the damage and the repair work done. They answered all my questions and provided helpful advice. I had my lift trailer taken into Oregon West RV the end of October 2019, with a lift motor completely not working and the manual lift gear broken completely off. I had given them the broken piece so they could see what was broke (also very obvious even without this piece) Also had told Them about other issues with the trailer that I would like looked at while it was there. They never even looked at my trailer until end of December beginning of January. Every time I called usually a girl by the name of Daniel, also working during this time was a Kellie and Jason, they were extremely rude and no one knew what was going on, the right hand defiantly never knew what the left was doing. Extremely unprofessional and unorganized. They changed so many employees during the time my trailer was there is it always pure drama. I would call and one person would blame another or the person that was there before, than a week later that person would be gone. I finally got my trailer back it's now March. I had asked a friend to pick up the trailer for me as I live quite a ways away and they close and 5 and are not open on the weekends and when I asked about special arrangements the girl (Daniel) on the phone was extremely rude about it. My friend shows up with my trailer and says that no one helped her and was extremely rude. She asked if there was anything else she needed and they told her no. Well keys to my trailer and paperwork would be handy. When I called them and told them how upset I was with this whole experience, a guy by the name of Wayne called me and to pretty much sum up our conversation he told me he had 8 things going on at one time and forgot to give her these things. Some words were exchanged and he hung up on me. I paid the bill over the phone and was told the things that were repaired. The bill is completely different which I will get to the bottom of with the warranty company. They said they repaired things that were not even on the paper work, nothing reflects the amount I actually paid. So I get the trailer home, finally get some dry weather to get it set up and NOPE they didn't fix the things they said they did. They did fix the new lift motor but didn't even touch the broke gear on the manual lift, which means if the electric lift stops working I am screwed for lifting or lowering, they said they fixed the rear bed, ok they may have adjusted it, but now you can't put the pin in to keep it back and still missing a pin on the other side. Said they got the refrigerator to work I am too upset to even try that because this has been such a disappointment thus far. I would never ever in my life recommend this place and I personally work in Sales and work with Service daily, we would be shut down if we treated customers this way, worst experience of my life. I am so embarrassed for this establishment and truly hope no one else has to experience the frustration and disappointment I had to. Thank god there other options. Never once felt shady. It's a family owned and ran business. We are fairly green when it comes to RV and they took their time going through the ins and outs. ***BEWARE of this dealer*** last week my wife and I flew to Oregon one way to buy a 2005 National Sea Breeze 8360 LX that we saw on RV Trader... After carefully examining the pictures and speaking to the owner several days, and being assured how nice this RV was we in good faith, cashier checks in hand flew in, and spent the night... The next day we went to buy it... Upon first seeing it on the lot we were shocked!!! Upon entering it smelled extremely bad and the interior was thrashed!!! The pictures did not match the ones advertised " in our opinion"... After further examination the pictures don't even appear to have been taken on their lot... Don't make the same mistake I did and waste $1,500 based on pictures and someone's word that you should be able to trust... read more

We had such a horrible experience here, I really don't know where to even start. Initially, on our first visit, the vibe was good, as a family ran/owned outfit that is well established. The first unit we looked at was advertised on RV trader. We had driven 180 miles to see this unit, and when we arrived we were told that it was really not ready to be seen yet.(They were still cleaning it up) We asked why it was advertised on RV trader if it was not ready to be seen...they said that was a good point. When we viewed this trailer they had the dehumidifier in running, and there was evidence of water damage. We asked if they had anything else that was similar: they said that they had just received something in from the sale, but it had not gone through the service department. We agreed to look.(This is the best time to look, as you can see things before they are repaired or masked.) We liked this unit. We received a loan from our Credit Union and set up a time to have the hitch installed in our truck, and to pick up our trailer. We were told by the sales staff that installation of the hitch(Gooseneck) should take 3-4 hours. We arrived promptly at 9:00AM for our appointment. The service writer asked where we would be going while the installation took place. We had not planned on leaving(We both rode down in our truck together). We were informed at that time that the installation would take 5-6 hours. We elected to sit in our trailer during this process. The installation took longer than they even expected. We left with our trailer at 7:00PM! We had to point out many things prior to leaving such as the fact that they were going to send us up the hwy without a plate on the RV, in addition to a couple of other pretty trivial things that we would expect a RV sales company to be aware of. We then had to deal with licensing/titling our trailer. Our Credit union had to file a fraud alert against this dealership, as we found out when asking about our plates that the information provided was incorrect, and the plates they sent us off with were not even for our trailer!!! We are currently working through this latest ordeal, and are hopeful that it will be completed soon. We have already had to purchase a trip permit for our last camping trip, and have another scheduled over the 4th of July. When it comes down to the whole experience, I would try to steer anyone to a different dealership with more substantiated policies and procedures to avoid all of the issues that we have endured through this purchase. It could have very easily soured our whole camping/RV experience, had we let it. read more

Lots of smooth talking but will not stand behind anything.We bought an rv from them.they said that they would replace black water dump valve,electric landing gear switch and adjust slide out.After 3 months of not hearing anything on these issues, i called. I was told that I was next on the list.2 weeks later i called again.I eventually had enough and picked it up.Got home with it and found a rodent infestation (Rats) in and under it. They said basically not there problem. Oh and did I mention that it took months to get my title.Called Oregon DMV. Guess what, Yep were not the first one that this happened to. Illegal and DMV had to call them and informed them to send title with tags pronto. Will not deal with again or recomend to anyone. Maybe you will have a better transaction. I can't say enough about the great experience we had when buying our travel trailer at Oregon West Rv Sales! Our salesman Jeff was friendly and helpful, but we never felt pressured. The owner John gave us a great deal, and made us feel like personal friends as well! They did everything they said they would, including delivering our trailer and setting it up for us. Being newbies to RV ownership, we had a lot of questions! But John was patient and kind, making sure he had answered every one, before he left. And even then, he assured us we could call anytime if we had any problems. Well, within the first week, we did have one very minor problem. (Nothing big at all! The trailer is a dream!) I wondered if John would really be there for us, as he had said. Within minutes of my texting him, he had responded, and put me in direct contact with his service dept. I had a discussion with Anna about the issue, she had a crew come out the next day, and solved the problem! No charge!!Brian and his helper were on time, fixed everything and even took time to answer more of our questions! Another day I called with another minor question and spoke to Mandy. Once again, my question was answered with a very pleasant professional manner. At every turn, this is by far, the best experience I could have asked for, as we begin our new adventure as owners of our wonderful Lance Travel Trailer! I highly recommenc this place! read more

sorry to say I got my trailer from them with end last 30 day called them to let them know that one of the water pipes had a leak--john the so called owner had a horrible responds- o we can not keep coming out to fix things--had to call him 20 minutes after he delivered it no elec. cord he had to get one--propane tanks out dated he had to replace them- I know this is one of the thing that was not looked at by the service department before he put it out for sale--I will not go back do yourself a favor go to some one else. read more

As total greenhorns, we set out to purchase a truck and fifth-wheel to use on our retired around-the-country RV adventure. We visited many dealers but found nothing compelling until we found John & Mandy Clarke of Oregon West RV in Creswell. They have a modest inventory of mostly repossessed RVs that were in remarkably good shape and reasonably priced. The Eugene area has lots of large RV dealers, but we doubt any of them could match the customer service of Oregon West RV. Both John & Mandy are knowledgeable and quickly ascertained that we needed a lot of hand-holding, which they were happy to provide. Mandy spent several hours going through their fifth-wheels with us in freezing weather, patiently explaining the basics without condescension or pressure to buy. Then when we returned after looking around Eugene John took over and continued our lengthy education. We decided to buy an RV from this business because we trusted John & Mandy to be forthright with us. We selected a Heartland Bighorn fifth-wheel, and while completing the paperwork, asked if John would help us locate a truck to pull it. To our amazement and delight, John happily took all the pain out of shopping for a used vehicle as he had spent two decades as a used car manager at various local dealerships and thought it sounded like fun! He used his connections to locate trucks, looked at dozens over a week's time, and eventually selected a vehicle he thought was a good match within our price range. He watched it go through the shop, he test-drove it, he negotiated the price much better than we could have, and then after we bought it, he had a local hitch shop install the fifth-wheel hitch. When we picked up the truck and RV at his business, John spent over 8 hours (!!!) with us training from the bottom up, everything from the holding tank operation to how to back up such a large trailer. Since we were switching from a Prius to a Silverado plus a 30+ foot trailer, this was very much needed. He even came with us to our first nearby RV park to help us set it up. We can honestly say we have never before received such personalized attention and over-the-top customer service. And it didn't stop after the sale. Upon invitation, we texted & called him multiple times with RV questions and he had his shop fix several minor issues with the RV over the next few weeks. Even now we feel we could call him up and he would be just as helpful. If you are looking for a trustworthy dealer, you can't go wrong with Oregon West RV! read more
