We have never been to Organ Stop Pizza and we have lived in Phoenix all our lives. We are so glad we stopped in the other night. The Organist was wonderful, so talented and engaging. We were very impressed with the Organist and very impressed with the Organ!!! Wow! Can't say more about how impressive the Organ is, all the pipes and the windows where you can see everything working. So amazing, a truly great experience. We enjoyed a pizza and fried zucchini and a beer and all were tasty, fresh and satisfying! We will definitely be bringing back our 3 granddaughters to experience how amazing The Organ Stop Pizza place is! They are also doing a wonderful job with social distancing, masks and ordering food. Fun place. I'm amazed at what a talented person that was playing the organ/everything else in the room. The pizza is nothing memorable, but I guess most people go for the organ show? It did cost over 20 bucks for the thin, crispy fairly tasteless vegetable pizza, so it was alot of dough just to see the show basically. The organ is stunning and the guy who was playing was excellent as well. They play 45 minutes per set. I had the pleasure to go to the Organ Stop Pizza yesterday with my family. The place was even better than I expected. You order your food as soon as you walk in and then you go to a separate drink ordering section then go find your seats. They have open galley style seating with long table both upstairs and down. Since all the spots upstairs with a view of the organist were taken we opted for a spot downstairs in the middle which turn out perfect. The use number boards similar to old bingo boards that they light up your order number on when your order is ready. For us it took only about 10-15 mins for our pizza to be ready (it is all made to order), which we didn't even really notice the wait since we were busy enjoying the organist and music. The place wasn't fully packed when we got there about 430pm on a Sunday but it was greatly picking up by the time we left about 6. We were lucky to be able to enjoy and listen to 2 sets of music while we were there. We even were able to put in a request and hear it. The best part was getting to see how excited my kids were getting to see the massive organ and everything that was connected to it. Think pianos on the ceiling, drums, bag pipes, you name an instrument and I bet it can be found there. They even had a disco ball and bubble machine we had to pleasure to enjoy. The food was pretty good. It is not world famous pizza but it was good and we devoured both pizzas we ordered. 1 was a large 2 topping (pepperoni and black olives) and the other a medium cheese. There was nothing left from our 3 adult and 2 kid group. We also had the opportunity to sample the ice cream they offer. It was similar to an ice cream shop where you select your flavor from the ice cream containers. All the flavors we tried were great and added to the experience. If you are in the Mesa Area I highly recommend stopping and enjoying this gem of a place. I greatly wish something like this could be found in the West Valley. read more

Order a pizza with deep fried mushrooms on top. Tell her Mikey sent you. She wouldn't make it for me but she said she would work on getting it approved. Went at the recommendation of a family member. The organ music was far too loud. Am fairly sure it would cause auditory damage after only a relatively short time. The relative who recommended it uses hearing aids in each ear. The pizza...while the toppings tasted fresh...the flavor was bland. No discernible pizza sauce, no taste of; garlic, basil, oregano, etc. The salad ingredients tasted fresh and were the the restaurants' best feature. I would caveat this 4 star rating in saying that this is more of a family place and can see it as entertaining for those especially with young kids. If I were stacking it up against the date night my boyfriend took my on, it would probably land at 3 stars. But given how many families we saw with excited kids, I'll bump it up to 4 stars. I had never personally heard of this place before, but my boyfriend thought it would be entertaining for a date night. I was personally disappointed because it was a PERFECT April night and all I could think of was being outdoors on a patio eating dinner. So to be in a dark music hall was the total opposite of the vibe I was going for. But it was his turn to pick so I went with it. The line was super long by 5:30p on a Saturday. It seemed they were hosting quite aa few big parties. We waited in line for about 15 mins and then put our order in for a pizza to share. Drinks are separate so we walked over there after and I was excited to see that they have WOW Wheat beer from Four Peaks, a local craft brewery. I got one of those along with a Coke. We took a seat inside as the organist was finishing up a final number. Within 5-10 minutes, our order number came up (you can tell from the number boards posted throughout the concert area). One thing I'll say is that this place is a well-oiled machine and they have the whole performance timed up perfectly. The second my boyfriend sat down with our pizza, the organist took the stage. And then we finished eating and he played 1-2 more songs before exiting. So it's just the right amount of time for you to enjoy your meal and enjoy a full performance. Lastly, the pizza is actually really good. I gobbled it up and honestly could have eaten more. It's really thin and crispy on the crust underneath. Very good. And the kids working here are straight up busting their butts! I have not seen a harder working group of kids in a long time. I love the pride that they take in their work, so be sure to leave them a tip somewhere (we hid money under one of the plates for the busboy since we couldn't figure out how to tip lol). All told, I'd recommend going here with kids. I'm sure it's a great relief to have built in entertainment with your meal. read more

I recently visited for the first time to celebrate a family birthday and I enjoyed the live music and the instruments that are built into the whole facility. No matter where you sit you are in for some great entertainment! It makes for a very fun time. Long long line to order food, difficult to find seats together, and then tables are so close that you practically smack someone with your knee if you need to get out of your seat/bench. Organ Stop Pizza is a best for ages 2-8 and 76-90. The Organ is incredible, with multiple sections playing around the large hall. The Pizza is grocery store quality, but I believe the experience is why you go, not the food. Note that several retirement centers bring bus loads of geriatrics right at opening time. So don't expect to get admitted rapidly. Seating is long benches leading to some interesting group interchanges (all good in my experience). The music selection tends to Movie Themes ans Broadway hits, unless they;ve updated it in the last two years, I consider this a 'must-see' for any child. What fun is Organ Stop Pizza -so much for everyone!!! Tiki Hubby and I had to visit as he use to go as he grew up in Phoenix and the 1st one was located there. We shared a medium pizza with our favorite toppings cooked prefect. We also shared a small salad you fix from an extensive salad bar. The best part of the meal was the organist who comes up from a stage in the middle of the room with every instrument you can imagine and just when you feel it can not get any better hundreds of bubbles come cascading out of the sky. I have to say I have never heard anything like the music that was played - patrons put requests in and they are played live and loud with lights and dramatics. Good good, great atmosphere due to the music and service was all self serve but those taking orders friendly and helpful. This is one of those places when in Arizona you must go to. In town to visit family and they couldn't wait to bring us here. The food was terrible. The seating uncomfortable. The show mediocre. I'm not sure why this place is so popular. Beyond it being unique, I don't find the appeal. We had a hard time finding a spot to sit. Lots of people were sitting around with no food. We had to call over bussing to get a table cleared. When they cleared it they just wiped the ingredients onto the floor. We ordered 6 pizzas. They were all Larges but varied in size. The crust was almost entirely flour. The sauce was bland and the cheese wasn't melted. Toppings were sparse overall. You need to order drinks separately? So weird. We ordered a few pitchers of beer and soda. They filled the soda pitchers to the brim with ice. Less than 4 small cups of soda in each one. The only saving grace was the entertainment. What a unique fun place! I highly recommend visiting this place. Walking into the seating venue is striking & beautiful. The entire back wall is where the organ pipes are housed. I've never seen such a amazing display of visual & audio inspiration in a pizza place.. During this plandemic the store is extremely cautious (a little too much tbh) & this in turn loses some of the customer service. When you arrives you check in, then wait for your name to be called, your party enters & a server carries a tray with plates, napkins & utensils while taking you to your table (chairs & bench style seating @ long tables). Then 1 or 2 people from your party goes to order & then picks up the food after your number is called. The problem was my daughter asked for help (because they have a sign saying "if you need help ask") & the young server told her "you can make 2 trips".. REALLY? The pizza is ok (thin crust) very similar to round table, the "garlic bread" with/ without cheese is weak & the mozzarella sticks are basic. But the organist & music is where they earn 4 stars! The organist and accompanying instruments are amazing. Being Christmas, holiday music was played from the historic organ. Staff was incredible re Covid and making sure all were served.
