    Veggie fried rice
    Sabrina C.

I wanted to make up for the dining experience I had yesterday and Orient Express has been on my list for a LONG time. I decided to order take out. Overall, the food was good and may have been better if I had it when it was initially made. The lo mein noodles seemed a bit larger than I recall having at other places. The fried rice was HEAVY on the eggs. BUT the online ordering process was seamless and my food was ready within 10-15 minutes.

It's been a while since I dined on the orient express for Chinese food. This experience was very pleasant. Food options are always in the best interest of of the people. I ordered the garlic chicken, general Tso's chicken, caterpillar roll. Everything came out as expected. The consistency of flavor is why I patronize this location. It always taste the same. Seating arrangements are comfortable and the design and decor of the space is aesthetically appealing. My order was customized because I am not a fan of broccoli so other veggies were added to my dish that made it extraordinary. Reservations are advised but not necessary

I've dined here many times over the years and have enjoyed their sushi, Chinese, and hibachi menus. Orient Express is still one of my favorites! I recently ordered takeout and was disappointed to find that the food tasted like it had been refried or sitting out, even though we picked it up right away. The service has always been great, though the parking lot is very tight..

Stopped by on a Monday evening. Ordered sushi and then BOOM! I'm at the ER. Fever, body chills and extreme diarrhea. GI test results confirmed a virus due to the sushi or roe. Spent 4 days admitted to the hospital, racked up thousands in medical bills and will NEVER eat sushi from this business again.

What a fun evening! Came with a small group. This is a unique restaurant with 3 dining options in 1. The "Orient Express" is an old classic dining railroad cart and it is incorporated into a huge restaurant. As you enter to the left is an area where Chinese food is served. Straight ahead is a beautiful area for sushi/sashimi. Then if you walk down the railroad cart to the right is a habatchi restaurant. We sat here and had a fun tableside dining experience where a chef cooked steak, lobster, shrimp, scallops, and veggies in front of us. The chef put on a great show and interacted well with the group. Fresh high end ingredients were used and the food was delicious. A server came around and kept the drinks filled and made sure we were having a great experience. We had a wonderful and can't wait to come back.

    Mongolian Beef -- so yummy!

Recently discovered this place for a friend's birthday -- one of her favorite places! The setting is pretty cool, with part of the walkway between the bar/hibachi area to main dining room being an old railway car -- something you see predominantly as you are walking into the restaurant. There were a few cocktail options (some a bit more pricey than I was anticipating - ie: espresso martini for $18), so I stuck with prosecco which was served in a miniature bottle and poured for me. The server was patient and kind - surprisingly splitting the bill from the get go with a larger group of 8 people! I got the ginger salad and fried spring rolls as a starter. Ginger salad was standard -- iceberg lettuce with carrots, topped with a zangy ginger dressing. The spring rolls were tasty, namely that they were crispy and went well with a sweet sauce as well as a VERY spicy mustard sauce. I got the Mongolian beef entree which came with rice. Wow -- the meat was so tender, great flavor (a bit sweet though -- tempered with spicy mustard I saved) and a huge portion. It was a great value for the price and was several additional meals for me once I took it home. This dish was also just a great comfort food. Their menu offers Chinese, Thai cuisines, hibachi (in front of a hibachi grill), and sushi -- appealing to many when someone may be wanting Asian food within that cohort of options! Overall, would go again.

Came here for a birthday dinner and we had a very nice time. You walk up to the building and it indeed looks like a train in the front which is so cool. Parking in kind of a pain but once you're inside it's a vibe. There's a hallway that is very much like an old train, super cute area to have cocktails. To the left is more of a sit down family style. To the right is more bar. And then all the way down is hibachi. I've done sushi before at the bar which was fine. Habachi was a nice time. The food is always what's to be expected. Service was good and it went by very quickly. They only take reservations for hibachi for 6+ so otherwise it's walk in. On a Saturday at 7 we were seated right away. No food being thrown into mouths tho which was a little bit of a bummer. Overall if habachi is your thing check it out.

I love this place! I honestly think it is such a hidden gem. They have 3 menus a Chinese food men, sushi & hibachi. I've tried the Chinese and sushi and both were great. I love their Mongolian beef and their sushi. It's hard to find good sushi around here in my opinion. The service is pretty solid and the restaurant is super unique both inside and out,

I've eaten at no less than 4 other hibachi restaurants between Hawaii and Georgia and this is the first one wherein I enjoyed the food. A friend treated me for Veteran's Day. I love everything about this place. The ambiance is good whether you're at a regular table or the grill. The service was great. The food was great, too! It's so cool from the outside to walk into a train car. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend!

Food was fresh & hot. My buddies beef & rice was sooo good! My TSO ,chicken wasn't fried crisp as requested. I took it home & gave it to my nephew! The salad & soup was good. When I arrived, my buddy was sitting in the "Rosa Parks" section. It was depressing so I asked to move to the "Upper Room". It was so nice over there! The ambiance over there is nice! Anywhooooo..... I would not order the same thing again

The sesame chicken tastes like it was refried. The chicken was hard and chewy. The chips for the soup was stale. The seaweed on the Sushi Roll was so chewy you could barely bite through it. I used to love this place, I won't be back.

Went for a celebration lunch with my daughter at almost 2pm end of lunchtime. Service was amazing and the food was also on point. I had the steak and shrimp medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The soup was so amazing with deep rich flavorful broth and the ginger salad looked overdressed but was actually just perfect. The Pom Pom margarita was also great!

The restaurant is split into two sections (divided by walls and bathroom hallway): hibachi and sushi/chinese menu. We sat in the sushi/chinese menu side. The service was a bit slow as it looked like only a couple of servers for the entire restaurant; which meant they were going back and forth down the hallway to different tables. That being said, our server was still extremely nice and proactive. He immediately asked if there were any allergies at our table (which we did have). Most places aren't proactive, so we appreciated that a lot. The food portions were nice and everything was delicious. The decor was nice but the carpet and ceiling needs work (heavily stained and old). Parking is a bit tight. Prices were reasonable.

Genuinely curious about the generous cuts of fish I saw in others' experiences as all our rolls were small (think the size of a big toe for reference...) I normally choose to not write a review if I have a poor first-time experience at a family restaurant and opt to visit again, but this visit was so disastrous that I cannot stomach the thought of round two. Service: First dish (ton-katsu) came out after ~30 minutes after ordering. Rolls came out 45 minutes after order. The restaurant was not packed. We were notified ONCE by our server while she hastily dropped off the ton-katsu saying "your sushi is late but you know all of it is." Food: - Ton-katsu (3/5): The sides (potatoes, miso, and salad) were fine. The meat was intriguing. It was impossible to eat without it falling apart as there were evidently two different mystery cuts of meat (one dark, one white) packed together. The texture of the dark meat resembled that of stale hamburger patty and the white meat was probably pork tenderloin? Regardless, it was fried nicely, but was incredibly dry and overall meh (especially for the price). -Georgia Roll (1.5/5): I love wasabi and spice in general, but this was not it. The wasabi mayo had way too much wasabi and it was inconsistently distributed throughout the roll. Almost inedible. The roll itself was not packed tightly and started falling apart before I started even eating it. -Dynamatic Roll (2/5): Overall, it was fine as there were no glaring errors that pushed it to the inedible front. The amount of eel inside was negligible and there were pieces that didn't even have any towards one end. Roll was also packed poorly and fell apart before we touched it. -Fried Scallop Roll (1/5): Wayyy too much eel sauce inside the roll. All I could taste was overly sweet teriyaki. 2 of the 8 of the pieces didn't even have a single scallop-- only tempura bits! Despite being fried, the scallops were cold inside, which was an odd experience. All I could taste was eel sauce and raw onion. Did we finish the food? Yes, because I don't want to waste food. However, I could not on good conscience recommend it to even my non-existent enemies.

I stopped by on a Tuesday evening around 8 PM, placed a call-in order, and it was ready in about 20 minutes--super convenient! I went with the fried rice and the Korean-style fried chicken. The place has a nice moderate-sized space with pleasant outdoor seating, and the staff was really friendly when I picked up my order. Once I got back and dug in, it was clear they use super fresh ingredients, and everything tasted like it was made to order. The fried rice had nice, layered flavors, and the chicken had a clean, crisp bite with a tasty sauce drizzled on top. Honestly, I couldn't quite see what all the major hype was about, but it was still a solid, good-quality meal with great presentation. That said, given the other more affordable options in the area with better portions, I probably wouldn't go back on my next visit. Would recommend if you're looking for fresh, quality ingredients in a convenient spot!

For my main, I had the Wagyu Maki and it didn't live up to the expectations or price at all. We finished off with the mochi which was very tasty. I'll caveat this all with adding my friends who had the ramen and fried rice enjoyed their meals a lot more than mine. Since I wasn't in the mood to sit down and eat, I went ahead and placed a call-ahead order for their House Lo Mein along with an order of fried chicken wings. The restaurant itself is fairly spacious with a nice, welcoming atmosphere once you step inside. The décor gives off a classic Chinese restaurant vibe that feels comfortable and relaxing. Parking, however, is a bit of a mixed bag. The spots right in front of the building are limited, so I ended up using the extended parking lot, which was a little dark and had that slightly eerie feeling at night -- nothing too wild or dangerous, but definitely not the most well-lit area I've seen. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was pleasantly greeted right at the door by the staff, who provided genuinely friendly and efficient customer service. That warm welcome made the whole pickup process smooth and quick. Once I got back to my hotel room and finally dug into the food, I have to say the House Lo Mein was prepared with fresh ingredients and good quality noodles and vegetables. It wasn't the most outstanding lo mein I've ever tasted in my life -- I've had versions that were more flavorful and better seasoned -- but it certainly wasn't the worst either. I'd honestly describe it as pretty mid-tier: solid, reliable, and worth what I paid for it on that particular evening. The fried chicken wings, on the other hand, really stood out to me. They were extra crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and actually had some noticeable flavor and seasoning, which made them quite enjoyable. All in all, it was a decent and satisfying meal that hit the spot after a tiring day. The portions were generous enough, and the value felt reasonable. I could definitely see myself returning to The Orient sometime in the future if I find myself back in the area and in need of a quick Chinese takeout option. That said, with plenty of other restaurants nearby that offer more affordable prices and bolder flavors, it probably wouldn't be my absolute first choice the next time I'm craving something similar. Still, if you're looking for a convenient, no-fuss spot with friendly service and consistently okay-to-good food, The Orient is worth considering.
