WHOAAA NELLY!!! We are from out of town and were in Denton for a cheer competition and ran here to grab a quick bite to eat. We went through the drive-through &the girl who took our order was very impatient &kept rushing us. We were ordering multiple meals and after each thing we ordered she would cut us off and ask 'is that all?'.... We get to the window, get our food and as we are driving off I am checking it to make sure it was correct because she was in such a rush to repeat our order back to us we couldn't even understand it. As I suspected, our order was missing an eggroll.. (the only thing my 9 yr old would Eat from here) so I kindly walked inside and told them they had forgot our egg roll. She flipped through receipts (side note: we never even received our receipt) And told me that we did not order an eggroll. When clearly I know we did. We were in a hurry so I wasn't going to make a big deal. I got back in the car and my husband showed me that they'd given us some type of soup That we did not order... we go back through the drive-through and give it back to her and told her we did not order this. She replied "yes y'all did, this is egg drop soup" (w/e that nasty stuff is!) So I assume egg drop soup and eggroll got confused. Which is understandable... Now if she would have slowed down the first time and actually listen to our order, she would have heard it the first time and if she would not have read it back like an auctioneer, we would have caught it as well. It was not a big deal -I understand mistakes happen but she literally tried not to take the soup back and give us our eggroll. She made the biggest deal about it and was rude as hell. (We are talking about $1.29) ‍ she starts pointing at (I guess there was supposed be a sign ) saying no refunds... Not that we wanted a refund we just wanted the eggroll . I sternly told her all we want is our order fixed and that's all. She said "I'm going to do it this time and this time only but it will not happen again." I told her thank you and that's fine because we will not be back we are not even from here. She brought us our eggroll w/ a very impudent attitude. I asked her her name and with the rudest smile she answered "my name is Nelly and I will always be here" . ... Well Nelly, my advice to you is- always being there is probably your best bet because nobody else is going to want you in their business with that ugly attitude... Not to mention that horrible hair color you probably couldn't get a job anywhere else with that anyways! Good luck to you! PS. the food wasn't all that good either. read more

This is not the healthiest of options as far as American Asian food goes and I'm pretty sure they have been shut down for health code violations in the past. If you want some quick noodles, this is your place. You might look around a bit further if you want quality "Chinese". read more

Used to go here because it has a drive thru and it's close to campus. However, past two times I had gotten egg shells a plenty and felt like puking. Can't expect much, but also can't expect sickness. I mean if you enjoy the crunch of egg shells and that feeling of being on the verge of puking, go for it. I am not one to judge. read more

I swear they put weed in their fried rice because I felt higher than a kite after a couple of bites. Made me nauseous afterwards too. I don't recommend this place unless you enjoy getting sick. And don't come here if you have an upcoming drug test because you'll probably fail. read more

Not the most amazing chinese food in the world or even in this town, but you don't expect perfection when you pull into a chinese restaurant drive thru. The fact that the prices are cheap and the service is super fast kind of saves this place. The food doesn't taste too bad but if you are wanting higher quality Chinese, go somewhere else. Also, not to say that only Chinese people can make good Chinese food, but walking in here feels like being in a taco shop in a mainly Hispanic neighborhood - Spanish novellas on TV, Hispanic customers as well as all-Hispanic staff. Let me just say that I LOVE fast and inexpensive Chinese food. I don't know why, but I just do. Their chicken lo mein is the best. It's spicy enough for my liking and the perfect amount of food. We used to go here all the time, however the last time we went we checked our order as we always do. The order seems to be right but when we get home I realized that the sweet-and-sour chicken does not have any sauce inside of it. So I call to explain what's going on and they pretty much tell me that it is not their problem. After a little bit of bickering back-and-forth the owner agrees that I can get the extra sauce, now mind you I am already back at home. This means that my food as well as the sweet-and-sour chicken which was my son's food will be cold and soggy by the time we get sauce. The lady on the phone tells me that she cannot help me so I decided to drive to the store. At the store the girl/lady just looks at me. She is not the manager so she is not quite sure what to say. I finally figure out who the manager is, which seems to be a coward-ish small man and he is asking me what my problem is. I explained him what my problem is and he says that he can't help me because he has this little flimsy sign on the window that says please check your order if it's correct, however I did that and the order was correct but did not see that he did not put the sauce into the box. Then he states that he knows for sure that he put it into the box of sweet-and-sour chicken and I must be wrong. To make a long story short. He ignored me for the longest time just turned his head away and pretended that I was not there, speaking to him instead of providing good customer service and giving me fresh food as well as my son due to his mistake. You get what you pay for price is good food is ok I just hate it though that in Texas for noodle they give you what they call lo mien nasty!! In California it's just chowmien which is the noodle stir fried this lo mien is a water cooked noodle not stir fried why they do this ? I'm guessing it's because it must be cheaper and quicker to boil in water. read more

I live within walking distance of Mr. Chopsticks but have been disappointed with their very expensive prices and meager to-go portions. I spent $20 on one entrée, 2 spring rolls and an extra steamed rice. They handed me a tiny brown paper bag and once I got home I discovered that the little cardboard cubbies were only 1/2 full... I tried Oriental Express last night and got 2 GREAT entrees (sweet & sour pork and kung pao chick) an egg roll and an extra steamed rice - all for less than $18. Very generous portions (I shouldn't have ordered the extra rice because they provide plenty) and VERY YUMMY! Well worth the extra mile drive. Very polite service and very quickly prepared - I will DEFINANTLY come back! Sure, all the cool kids like to be seen at trendy Chopsticks but I work really hard for my money and the bottom line is value in my book. I saved the kung pao for dinner tonight and it reheated nicely (gives the spices time to marry with the meat and veggies). Thank you so much! This place doesn't look like it, but it is wonderful! The food is always so fresh and great tasting. It's pretty cheap, and they give you A LOT of food too! I recommend this place for anyone who loves Chinese food, and doesn't have a lot to spend. read more

This place is nothing fancy, but it gets the job done when I'm craving Chinese. Do yourself a favor and check your order before you leave. They actually have a pretty good track record with order accuracy (only 2 mistakes in 3-4 years of going there), but they're usually a pretty busy place and mix ups can happen. But when they mix it up, they usually mix it up royally. Not as in forgetting one of your sides, but as in giving you the entirely wrong order. Both times they replaced my order when I brought it back, in spite of a sign warning you to check your order BEFORE you leave. If there's clearly a mistake they will make it right though, give you the right order and probably toss you an extra egg roll or something. This might not be the place for everybody, but my Chinese food tastes are simple, I usually just want some fried rice (pork, beef or veggie) and some egg rolls. I don't know about their other dishes, but the fried rice and egg rolls are solid. Which is more than I can say for some other establishments. And I've never had them get shy with the protein. Plenty of pork or beef in my rice when I've ordered it. I have tried a couple of other dishes when they mixed up my order and tried to just eat it before taking it back, and I didn't enjoy them. But I don't even know what they were, so it might just not be something I'd want to order even if a master chef prepared it. The employees are always friendly. I don't know, maybe they recognize me because I'm fairly regular and always leave a tip, but I've never had any problems with the people behind the counter. All in all it's nothing insanely awesome, but it meets my needs/expectations. I'm not a big Asian cuisine aficionado or anything, I've never used chopsticks (except back when McDonalds had them in the 80's, and I used them to eat french fries), and I've never turned my nose up at an Asian buffet, so I might not be the expert opinion you're hoping for. It's A-OK by me though. Beats Panda Express, and the fried rice is a million times better than that Super Buffet place that throws a can of peas & carrots into some steamed rice and calls it fried. read more

Ordered chicken fried rice and it had at best 2 pieces of meat in it. The meal was maybe worth $3, but with a pitiful side of Crab Rangoon, the meal cost $12. The place is obviously shady, anyone that eats there is taking a chance. It is just a shame that they charge 4x more than the experience is worth. read more
