I cannot speak highly enough of this pizzeria! Walked in and placed an advance order for 10 pies for a retirement party. They accommodated us by having them ready early. The owner is attentive, provides great service and of course delicious food. Also got a vodka slice and Stromboli the day we made the order and both were great. More like 2.5 stars. I went today and had a sicilian slice with pepperoni. The crust was light and the sesame seeds on the outer crust was a nice touch. The cheese wasn't the best I've had on pizza. My main issue is they put red pepper flakes on the pizza. It totally ruined it for me. It was way too spicy. I ate it since 1) I was hungry & 2) It cost 6.45! I didn't want to waste my money. I got a small margarita and was made quickly and was fresh with fresh ingredients. The pizza was delicious. My only disappointment was the burnt cheesecake. I ordered a lasagna and penne vodka pasta. based on looks the lasagna was watery. penne looked dry. the lasagna had an off taste to it. like it was spoiled or something. the penne al vodka tasted bland and in need of seasoning. my partner now has diarrhea and I have a stomachache. don't waste your money on the pasta and just get the pizza if you dare. read more

Great pizza a large variety of pizza as well. It's not brick oven, but the crust still comes out thin like it was cooked in a brick oven. Very tasty fresh ingredients. They have other Italian dishes also, not just pizza. Awesome service, good energy behind the counter. Fast friendly service, they also deliver. So I called to order penne vodka, and the person told me $14. I asked while ordering the dish. I got there and they acted like I never called, so I had to wait around for like 10 minutes. I went there about 20 minutes after I called. When they handed me the order, they said $16. I told them I was told $14. He said no one wrote my order down. I had a 20 and was going to leave the change for a tip but after the 4 bucks went back in my pocket. Not to mention they charge tax, I've been buying pizza all over NYC except for Staten Island For at least 50 years. Include the tax in the price. So I will never be going in there again. I order 2-3 times a week never an issue I ordered 3 times on Saturday always a problem including today when I didn't even receive my food and they call me back saying they were in my lobby but never called or buzzed my apartment!!
