If I didn't miss my bus, I wouldn't have step in, I've been going to Ricky's closer to my apt but it has been very disappointing lately. I love to order the grandma slice and the squares from this place. Very nice display of food at the counter and the staff is quick. Last time I visited, they use a vintage cash register, pretty neat. At times, if in the mood, garlic knots are ordered (these are pre-made and re-heated, but still tasty). Good place to grab a slice and very easily accessible from the bus stop and train station. This is my go-to pizzeria whenever I'm in Bay Ridge. Used to go here pretty often when I was in Brooklyn, but occasionally return to see what I've been missing. Very good pizza-although a bit on the chewy side-served with remarkable alacrity. Even if the pizza was simply average, it's worth visiting simply to marvel at the assembly line efficiency with which it's produced and served. Caveat: Your slice is made from scratch and is piping hot. I forgot just how scalding it is until this weekend. For those of you who like your pizza hot, you're in for a treat. read more

Pizza is really good but service is not. Very rude . I understand that there's a minimum of $10 to charge credit card but as a regular customer why make a big deal when the price was a little over $9. The first time it happened I didn't think much of it. They were kind enough to replace the pie. The second time, ok, no big deal, they'll replace the pie. The third and last time...They just delivered a pie and the smell of a a dirty rag (best description for the odor) coming from the pie is to the point where it's not even edible. Ok. The place is definitely not the same and I'm not referring to the people. However, I still did not just walk out after ordering 4 slices for my family. I told a friend to meet me there out of convenience and was looking to order a pie for the extra friends. My lovely wife suggested to ask the manager if we can order an additional 4 slices on top of the 4 previously ordered to make it a pie on top of the pie I was looking to order for my friends. Since, I would have paid an additional $5 for the same amount of slices. Once I asked, I received a cold, DMV attitude. So, instead of accommodating a patronage of 15 years let alone with attitude. He lost the sale of an additional 4 slices plus drinks and an additional pie plus drinks. However, he did gain a bad review and a negative recommendation to local friends. read more

Original Pizza has one of the best pizza I've ever had! A regular slice has a thin, crispy crust and never lacking in cheese or flavor. But my all time favorite is their Sicilian slice. The crust is thick and crispy but it also MELTS-IN-YOUR-MOUTH. YUM! Makes me hungry for it just thinking about it. A slice is about $2.50 which is average for New York. BTW, the chicken rolls are also one of the best! Its about $4.50 but i recently realized that the chicken rolls are shrinking in size :( read more

The BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD. And right outside my train station too! =))))) Thin and crunchy crust, mozzarella that actually stretches (know what I'm talking about???), and THE SAUCE. Seriously the PERFECT pizza slice every time I come here, and I've been coming here since my age was in the single digits. You have to try it to believe it. Every other slice of pizza I've had, no matter how fancy or expensive, has paled in comparison. I did notice that their garlic knots keep getting smaller and smaller - they're practically bite size if you have a big enough mouth, but THE SAUCE makes up for it. I'm not a fan of toppings when it comes to pizza, so I always get the plain cheese. Let me reiterate - it's PERFECT. Go try it. read more

Nice place. Right outside of the Bay Ridge Avenue stop on the R Train. They make pizza the way I like it: - The crust was thin. The bottom of the slice was nicely charred and crunchy. - The sauce was tangy with the right amount of sweet. - Right amount of cheese. They did not pile on the cheese like some other places. Bonus: - There is a plastic container with fresh basil on the counter. Adding a few Basil leaves on the slice really adds to the taste. read more

It's made with homemade mozzarella, etc. - and is even better than their regular great pizza: sooooooooooo fresh - and like being in Italy. You usually have to order it ahead of time (it's not just their by the slice usually). But a whole "supreme" pie is $14, I think. 2 - Also - I didn't realize til recently that they're run by the same people who run My LIttle PIzzeria down on Court St. near Atlantic - used to get pizza down there all the time (everyone who works in Downtown Bklyn near Borough Hall - goes there - same great pizza! If you want thin crusted pizza, this is the place to go! thin crispy crust with a good amount of sauce in between gooey melted cheese.... YUM! I get my 8 year old nephew a slice with extra mozzarella cheese and boy it was more than extra they put. The garlic knots are like any others tho. read more

I love Original Pizza.....I assume all of them are a chain....because the square pie is the same dough in each place. I really only get the square pie---either regular (sauce and cheese) or with the fresh mozzarella/tomato. I can't explain it...the crust is so light and airy. Pure Heaven!!! I was at this pizzeria with my daughter, niece, little cousin and a friend of the family at around 2:00pm today. The four girls sat at a table together, I of course sat at an adjacent table as the tables only seat 4. As I'm at a garbage can throwing out refuse, a man who was sitting at a table near mine had approached these girls, warning them to be careful of me, assuming that I was there to harm them and was not part of the same family. Mind you my daughter is half Black, and my niece is Black. Occurred he leaves the pizzeria quickly and I found this out afterwards. I must return there to request the surveillance video from the pizzeria be pulled because I have a serious problem with any adult approaching four girls, 3 of them minors (including my daughter and niece). I also have a serious problem with approaching children And NOT the adult, as most reasonable people should. Telling my own daughter to "watch out for this guy"! This is a matter I intend to pursue. Perhaps the person had good intentions but as adults we approach the adult and NOT a children! read more
