You know that feeling when you just can't wait to go back to a place you've visited? That's exactly how we feel about this spot. It has everything: a beautiful atmosphere, great food, fair prices, and a lovely view. Even though it was busy, the wait wasn't long--and it was totally worth it. We absolutely loved it. The food was so good that we went to the restaurant 2 out of the 3 days we were there. For a large group of people it is still good food while be relatively affordable. Thick chips - sturdy enough to stand up to the toppings. Would be even better IMO with nacho cheese cheese, but I loved it. - Service: The staff were great. Super friendly, helpful, and efficient. Food was amazing and a great start to a great day. Portions were large, food was tasty and reminded me of waking up in the morning to great home cooking from my grandma. What we both enjoyed was how fast our breakfasts were presented! The line was long on a Sunday morning at the South Entrance to Zion, but there were many open tables at Springdale's most popular breakfast spot. Woo hoo, they allow dogs on the patio! The recommended Huevos Rancheros were very good, I opted for a side of their delicious pork for only $3. They nixed their espresso machine, but the ice coffee was satisfying with free refills to boot. Cody the server was very polite. read more

Came here while visiting Zion and I can say that service was great. They had a really good dressing that they make that we loved it so much we bought a bottle to take home. 3.5 stars There's usually a line here but the wait wasn't horrendous for 2 people (only about 10-15min) around 5:30pm Portions are big -- the burritos are humongous and my turkey burger was hearty and filling. We had plenty of leftovers from the burrito, which was good for saving if you have access to a microwave at your hotel. The chicken in our burrito was a bit dry but overall the flavors were decent and nothing a bit of hot sauce can't help. Service was friendly and fast. Parking is limited when it gets busy. Great breakfast! My husband enjoyed the coffee and the orange juice tasted very fresh (did have pulp for those who don't like it but it wasn't overly pulpy). I have gluten and dairy sensitivity so I was able to do the Rocky Mountain omelette with fruit. Very light and fluffy. Unfortunately, their potatoes are fried and their bread is only gluten and not dairy free. But the restaurant was clean, food came out fast and was delicious! The service is friendly and prompt. Prices are expensive, which is understandable for Springdale but there are other restaurants that are a better deal. The chips and salsa/guac was tasty! The tortilla chips were crispy and delicious. The burger was mediocre - quality of the beef patty wasn't great and the meat was dry. Burrito was decent but rice and beans were mediocre. read more

I walked by this place on a Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 and it was packed so I knew they must be doing something right. So our group went back later that evening for dinner. The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. My wife had the shrimp tacos and they were plentiful and delicious. My salmon with cheddar potatoes and seasoned black beans with rice were well prepared and seasoned to accentuate the flavor. The house salad was also well prepared and tasty. We ate breakfast at Oscar's twice while visiting Zion. They have an excellent breakfast menu, fast and friendly service, and nice outdoor patio seating. The patio is shaded and has a nice breeze running through. Best of all, the prices are fair. Parking nearby can be dicey, but Oscar's does have a few designated spots available if you are lucky enough to snag a spot. I highly recommend this cafe. read more

We love stopping by Oscar's when we're in Zion! It's a great family spot with options for everyone. We came with a group of 5 around 5:30pm and waited 5-10 minutes to get seated. We got the fish tacos, vegetable quesadilla (more like a pizza), pork burrito, veggie enchilada, chips and guac, fish tacos, and the carrot cake. All the portions were very generous. The fish in the fish tacos were a little bland, and the enchiladas were more veggie than enchilada, but otherwise everything tasted quite good, especially loved the guac! read more
