Oscars Carpet Cleaner did a great job on my carpets. They showed up early, they were friendly, polite and professional. And they work hard! They also included some extras, like a large walk in closet, (almost the size of a small room) and the runner in my front hallway, at no extra cost. The carpets look sparkling clean, dried without a perfumery smell and I will definitely be calling them again. They killed it! read more

After the other carpet cleaner decided to leave me stranded for another, likely a larger, work, I needed last minute scheduling for carpet stain removal and cleaning. Oscar's Carpet Cleaning responded to my text right away, and gave a reasonable quote, answered many questions I sent. They arranged their schedule to come the next morning. Reina arrived promptly and did a very thorough work with her teammate. They removed all the stains, and for one old tough stain they checked with me on the approach and cleaned it very well to my satisfaction (you can barely see it). They are experts and very pleasant and professional to work with. I will reach out to them again when I need cleaning. I highly recommend the team. read more

Just terrific. This is my second review of this business and the owners. Again, as before, they responded to us ASAP, answered the phone at a late hour and assessed the situation immediately. Within a day, Oscar and Reyna sent their staff member, Antonio, to clean an apartment of ours on the second floor of a building in San Francisco. Not only did Antonio arrive at the location before I did, Antonio appeared with new equipment and long hoses! He impressed me a lot as he carefully draped a blanket on the window sill before he moved the hoses through the window to clean the carpet. Outstanding, thorough work and the whole apartment unit smelled great! Antonio was so courteous and I was impressed he kept his cool efficiency considering he has to work with all sorts of people in a difficult profession. Highly highly recommended. read more

I woke up this morning to find my dog had gotten sick overnight and there was diarrhea all over my 1 year old rug. I quickly looked at yelp and called Oscar's Carpet Cleaning. They picked up right away, said they could come at 11:30. Texted to see if they could come early! They were professional, kind and most importantly did a phenomenal job!!! I was so impressed. Third time using Oscars Carpet Cleaning, so I thought a review is in order. Reyna and an associate showed up right on time, just as they had said. They had awesome texting communications as needed, from the get go, which I love. As usual, all spots removed, carpets like new, and the fresh smell is not overwhelming nor toxic and went away within hours. Not terribly wet and dried within 4-6 hours! Excellent. This company is TOP NOTCH! Not only were they punctual (actually a little early so be prepared if you can!), but incredibly professional, thorough, and reasonably priced. Need to mention that the carpet cleaners had many odds stacked against them with our house carpets being in a horrible state from years of neglect, being straight up old, tenant abuse, and including various pet and other miscellaneous stains. Almost everything was corrected by Oscar's Cleaning, leaving only a few areas that just can't come back to 100% but now show minimal stain. Overall, these carpets look and feel practically brand new. Thank you Oscar's for bringing a new life into these old carpets and saving us $$ on recarpeting! read more

Carlos came over last week (on time if not a little early) and did a really great job! Our lightly tan carpets were so filthy, in walking areas especially, and we had a lot of black dots from water or oil as well. Overall the carpets were dull and tinged with dust. We hadn't cleaned the carpets in years, if not a decade. (In the past, we had hired steam cleaning, where they would throw dirty water in our toilets, have to use our bathtubs to refill, and took about 6-8 hrs. Total waste of time, money, and energy! And the carpets just didn't come out looking very clean. Having the van hook up to remove dirty water and supply immediate steaming hot water really makes a difference and saves time!). Carlos was able to remove nearly all the stains and dirt, which is amazing! He even cleaned stains partially into rooms that weren't to be done, and partially under beds, so color variations didn't show. He was very professional (no chit chat), and was really concentrating on rubbing the carpets to get out all the dirt. He was very efficient, which is much appreciated! And he finished in just about 2 hrs, as he had estimated for 4-5 rooms, a hallway, and stairs. It took 24 hrs for it to completely dry. It's not cheap, it came out to around $400, but it was very necessary for us. Will definitely call Oscar's again! read more

Reyna setup the appointment with my on the phone. She gave me a great price, on the lower range of a quote. Her price was very fair. Antonio and Jennifer came to complete a carpet cleaning and sofa, our sofa is a L shape and we had it unattached so it looks like two sofas but it's actually just one. They understood and didn't charge extra for that which made us very happy. The sofa cushions were also thoroughly cleaned all over. Very good job. The carpet looks brand new except for a tea stain that couldn't come out all the way but still it was cleaned with solutions so that part is fine. They were honest to us and said they tried their bests to take out the stain. I wasn't worried much about the stain because it was old and I should have taken care of it earlier. I recommend calling them for a truly deep cleaning that is the best with accurate pricing. read more

Our apartment is in the 3rd floor so immediately upon entering there is a carpeted staircase that gets fairly dirty over time. We reached out to Oscar's to clean it and they were highly responsive and available to come the next week. We scheduled via Yelp. On the day of the cleaning, they called us before arriving and gave us an ETA. They were super quick and out carpet looked much better after. read more

It sucks that on my 400th review, I am sharing a negative experience, but heck. It is extremely unfortunate that it happened to me. I emailed a rep for a quote 2 weeks in advance for a cleaning of a condo. I gave him my information, my address, contact number without filling out a real application. He confirmed that he would be able to accommodate my service. A couple days before my appointment I confirmed again, and asked if here was a email or contact number I can have so something for collateral. No response. Day of I called the number on yelp, the rep noted that my appointment was never confirm and I would have to wait another day. What? I emailed the rep asking him if there was any miscommunication on my end? No response. mind you that my apt was less than 700 sqft. I don't understand how other I can be more accommodating to a service that not only had pii, I will never use your service again. I hope my contact information was removed from any databases you have. A service that I would not reccomend to anyone in the East Bay. read more

I cannot POSSIBLY say enough about how happy I am right now. For thirteen months, I've been living with the dirty carpets that I inherited when I moved in, that I thought were always going to be the way they were, because they had been cleaned before to little/no effect. I was working in my home office while they were working their magic, and I could scarcely believe my eyes when I walked into the living room and saw my like-new carpet! I joked, if I hadn't been home the whole time, I might have thought that they just straight-up replaced them - the transformation was THAT incredible. My only regret is that I didn't call them a year ago. The overall experience was okay. I typically look for more eco-friendly services and wanted to give Oscar's a try. The team were courteous, on time, and were in and out in 40 minutes. However, there were still some pink spots that still remained on the carpet in the bedroom and closet. There was also some yellow spots by the main walkway they couldn't clean off. I also asked for an itemized invoice / receipt several times, and never received one. It's not the first time I've asked a small business for a itemized invoice / receipt, and this isn't an extraordinary request, so I'm not sure what happened there. read more

I've used them for several jobs, including some water damaged carpet and they've always done an excellent job-- like the water was never there! We have a puppy and, twice in the past few months, he's had an "accident" on carpets in our house in San Francisco. I called Oscar's Carpet Cleaning and they were able to come quickly and fix the situation. For instance, our dog this week made a "mess" at 8:30am on an expensive carpet in our living room. Oscar's was there for a noon appointment (actually a few minutes early, which was great) and the carpet actually looks better than before. I now plan on having Oscar's clean our carpets annually. read more

We've used Oscar's Carpet Cleaning many times for our office. Reyna is very responsive and got back to me very quickly. She is always able to help us schedule a cleaning even on short notice. Yesterday was our 4th time using Oscar's and we've had a few different cleaners but yesterday Antonio & Yennifer. I forgot to tell Reyna that I needed a bigger job done and Antonio and Yennifer were great! They were able to do a bigger job than planned and they were quick without sacrificing quality. We have a few office dogs and the carpets aren't always the cleanest but after last night they look brand new and the odor is gone! read more

These guys charged $180 (minimum charge) for my invalid mother's small studio (i.e. not cheap for 600 sq. feet). Not only was there confusion about the job specs (the guy thought he was supposed to be cleaning four rooms), he refused to move a bureau he thought was "too heavy". Part of the problem in dealing with this outfit is that everybody's English is so poor, you're not sure anyone has understood what you've said/asked in the first place. But the guy who cleaned sure knew English when it came to asking my mother's caregiver for the check! * * * read more

Pretty straightforward cleaning. I struggled a bit trying to explain that I wasn't calling about a residence but once the guys showed up, I showed them what we needed cleaned and the two bits that I anticipated would be tough. They got going and when they were done, they showed me the funked up water and the nicest looking carpet spots in our building. Amazing! We only intended to clean one specific area but soon after they left people started asking if we'd call them back to do the rest of the building. I believe we will. read more

I scored a pair of awesome CB2 upholstered chairs on Craigslist. They were a great deal, but needed a cleaning very badly. I'm allergic to cats, and the previous owner had two. After checking the Yelp reviews, I decided to try Oscar's. I called shortly before 6pm and got a next-day appointment, which was really nice. Since they have a $180 minimum charge, I asked them to do the living room and hallway in addition to the chairs. It came out to $240 before tip. Reyna and her partner were extremely punctual! I was impressed that they arrived early enough to score a metered spot for their van outside my flat - no small feat on the Valencia Corridor -- and still be at my door on time. They came upstairs, scoped out the apartment, and got right to work. They worked quickly and carefully. They ran a hose up the stairs to my third-floor apartment, and hooked up to the bathroom for water. I had cleared the room of smaller furniture before they arrived, and they were happy to move the couch from one side of the room to the other to get to the carpet underneath. Besides punctuality, the other thing I really appreciated was Reyna's initial survey of the space and pointing out what she could and couldn't fix. She has the "under-promise, over-deliver" thing down pat! Many of the spots that got a wrinkled brow -- poof, gone. The upholstered chairs are now totally free of dander (no more sneezing!) but also of the dirt and spills from the previous owner's kids. And the many mystery spots in the carpet -- also gone. It was a job well done, and completed ahead of schedule. I feel great supporting a minority-owned, local, and eco-friendly company - and getting top-notch service too. Call Oscar's! You won't regret it. read more

Carlos and Luiz just left me house about 30 seconds ago, and I'm not going to waste any time to start writing a review! My in-laws are due to arrive Tuesday morning, and I realized only after getting back from a weekend holiday how much my house had been "effected" by my dog over the past year. Most notably the carpets and the couch. Called Sunday at 5pm, they were able to schedule me for Monday at noon. Carlos and Luiz showed up right on time... actually they were even 1 minute early Long story short, the carpet that I was about to tear out and pay thousands to have replaced within 24 hours because I thought it was beyond cleaning, is now astonishingly clean! I went downstairs to check in mid-clean and couldn't believe the difference between the clean side and the dirty side. These guys are hard-working, reliable, and most importantly friendly. When it comes to hiring people outside my home, I'm more about efficiency... when I am bringing someone into my personal space, their attitude and demeanor are of paramount importance. Carlos and Luiz had it all, and more. Whether you find yourself in a last-minute pinch or you're able to plan ahead, I highly recommend Oscar's Carpet Cleaning... and they're not going to tell you the next available appt is in 2 weeks (like several others did). read more

They don't charge by surface or how big the room are. They charge by number of rooms regardless if the surface of the 2 bedrooms which are tiny equal to a normal bed room. They were inflexible in assessing the size of the apartment For 2 bedrooms they asked $280 without even asking the surface size. read more

They're a bit pricier than other carpet cleaning companies around the bay area, but it sure is worth it! Even through they don't work on Sundays anymore, they came out on a Sunday morning to help clean the carpets in the condo I was moving out of. Carlos and his partner came out on time and was extremely friendly and helpful - great customer service! In addition to the great service, their cleaning is fantastic; they took out dark grey spots/stains on our tan carpet, making the entire place look like new. Thank you! read more

The rug was returned to us on June 27th, and we were extremely impressed and satisfied with the results. The colors were vibrant, the mold spots and spores were completely gone, and the moth-damaged areas had been expertly repaired. The rug looked immaculate and beautifully restored. We are very pleased with both the quality of the work and the customer service. We would not hesitate to use this company again and highly recommend them!

After the service was completed, I observed debris remaining in multiple sections of the gutter system and took photographs documenting my concerns. Based on what I observed, I did not believe the entire gutter system had been fully cleaned as described in the scope of work. I contacted the company on the day of the service and requested a follow-up visit. Although a return visit was discussed, it ultimately never took place, and my concerns regarding the completeness of the cleaning were never fully addressed. Because of this, I did not feel the work fully matched my expectations for a complete gutter cleaning. To be fair, ASF did perform significant work, including gutter repairs and cleaning in other areas, and the company ultimately worked with me to reach a mutually agreed resolution of the matter. Future customers may wish to inspect the gutters carefully after service and document any concerns promptly.

Love them! I hadn't been able to really clean my home for almost 7 weeks due to an injury, so it was really ready for a cleaning. What a great team they are. Let me count the ways: 1) Flexible & punctual: I called them last Thursday--- not expecting that they'd be able to work me in so soon. They came the following Saturday morning right when they said they would. 2) Pleasant & kind: They're just really chill and friendly. 3) Thorough & fast! Did I say THOROUGH?!? I don't have a big place (an in-law), but the dust build-up was really getting to me. They did a great job dusting and vacuuming. And not one of those dusting jobs whereby you're not completely sure if the cleaners REALLY dusted, so you start checking all the surfaces and then you're aghast at what you find. No, Oscar and Reyna really dust all the surfaces. And my bathtub---including the tiles---are white and sparkly. Reyna put the scrub down for REAL! 4) If you notice that they miss something or its not to your liking, they'll return and clean or redo it: They had overlooked the baseboards in some areas of my apartment. So when I called and told them about this, they said they'd come the same day and take care of it. No questions asked. 5) Green products: Your place won't smell like a chemical factory afterwards. 6) And of course their good rates. You might pay a little more than some of the other outfits, but it's worth it and not unreasonable. They also shampoo furniture and carpets...which I don't need right now. But if I ever do, I will use their service. And yes, they also go to the East Bay for cleaning jobs. read more

I found Oscar and Reyna Cleaning Service on Yelp and for that reason, I feel compelled to write a review because I could not have been more frustrated or disappointed with their carpet cleaning service. Oscar picks up the telephone, which is good. What isn't good is that he says "yes" when he apparently doesn't understand what you are saying. I thought everything was set but when the day arrived for the cleaning, he called several times asking me where he should clean the carpets. I had arranged for access to the space but he then refused to do the cleaning until I went to the property myself. This went back and forth several times and I lost time and patience. They don't speak very good English and I don't speak Spanish, which is a problem, if we are not on the same page as to what is to be done, etc. And when I returned to check the cleaning job, not only had the carpet in a small area not been cleaned at all, the rest of the carpet did not look very clean either. He says he steam cleans but I don't think he does steam cleaning. I had people moving into the property and they asked if the carpets had been cleaned (as that is what we agreed to). I don't know how this company is getting so many 5 star ratings. Poor service all around. When I called to let them know the carpet in the small room had not been cleaned, it appears that Oscar hung up on me. I I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE FOR CARPET CLEANING NOR WOULD I EVER USE THEM AGAIN! read more

Oscar's carpet and cleaning is a great service and value and the dynamo duo of husband and wife team Oscar and Reyna is as Mom and Pop as it gets. I love to support the underdog small businesses, especially when the quality and value is there. I have used Oscar's for a few years now at my home and have recommended them to several friends and businesses with nothing but praises for their professional service and quality work. From general cleaning of our home, which is a 3 story monster, to doing steam/carpet cleaning on carpets & upholstery at my office and for my friends shop, I have nothing but praises. They get in on time, always available by phone, very flexible hours, do a great job and leave without leaving a trace of dust or even a pet hair. :) My dog sheds and occasionally we have had an accident of dog pee on the runner from friends dogs, and they get it out so well we have had NO RE-Pee's in the same spot!
