Clean and spacious "teriyaki" joint in Enumclaw that also sells American Chinese food. Generous portions and food comes out piping hot and fresh, but everything is wayyyy oversauced and too sweet. Definitely geared toward a non Asian, very American palate that tends to be addictingly high in salt, fat and sugar. But the service, food quality and cleanliness were all good. It's definitely not authentic in the least bit but I wouldn't mind coming back to try the food again but ask for things half sauced or sauce on the side. after ordering 2 pho bowls and picking it up and returned home we found that the steak was missing from 1. We called the restaurant to inform them of this error they told us to come back and they would take care of it. Apon returning there my wife was informed that they had a recording of the order being correct basically calling us liars. End Result they (the owner)sent us home with 5 pieces of beef. This is completly unexceptable. If I could give the a 0 star I would but can't. I guess they will not have to worry about it any more as we will never return to this establishment. read more

I've had their burgers, hawaiian burgers, and cheese burgers when I'm not ordering traditional Asian food. Decided to stop by here for dinner and eat inside. Service while ordering was decent, the employees at the counter were helpful. The food was about a 4/10. Really the only standout were the shrimp spring rolls - super fresh and excellent peanut sauce. The Pho was not good and had a weird flavor. The teriyaki was way too sweet and did not taste good. Food is good. As a past employee I saw Peter (the owner) lie to a customers face about the use of MSG. During my employment there was an entire garbage can full of it in the kitchen area that they used in most of (if not all) of the food. Considering it was stored in a garbage can I would guess all the food contained MSG instead of salt. I learned this later otherwise I would have spoken up. The best teriyaki in town! Just moved to enumclaw a few months ago and the staff is so friendly and efficient. I was also told their sauces are made in house (even hot sauce). Not to mention they have a variety of other dishes...I recommend their pho if teriyaki is not your jam. 10/10!!! read more

The thing that stands out about this place is the level of customer service. It is great! The problem is the food doesn't match the service. I had a simple chicken teriyaki lunch and the meat was overdone and the sauce was bland. This place was great! I walked in starving and I can't say enough good about how I felt when I walked out. I took a risk getting chicken fried rice- but oh my goodness, it hit the spot! I got a GIANT serving, and it was fresh and absolutely delicious. My food came out quickly and I was asked by two different people how it was while I was eating. First of all, I love Oshio Sushi. Great service, great food and very clean. That being said, one door over is Oshio Teriyaki. The family and I have been there a few times. tried Ording takeout a few times. The restaurant is not the cleanest. They're storage shelf (out in plain view ) filled with soda,etc is not that well kept, kind of falling apart. Called in to order takeout and either no one would answer the phone or I would automatically get a "no service at this time" message. Very unprofessional. All businesses have a ratings sticker in public view. This is mandatory statewide as per the Seattle/ King county public health Dept. It kind of bothers me that this (pictured below) is Oshio Teriyaki's rating. The few times I've been there I've noticed that it hasn't changed. I would think that any business would strive to be their best or at least learn from its mistakes and do what it takes to correct them and move in the right direction. read more

I will start by saying that I really want to like this business. I've tried. Their food quality is actually better than average when it comes out right. My biggest single complaint is that chicken teriyaki has to be HOT. When chicken comes out of the window and it's barely like warm, it's a sign that they are precooking and simply heating up the chicken to order. I've asked specifically both the owner and the kids at the register to make sure that the chicken is fresh cooked and HOT. And every time it comes out in a minute or two the exact same way. I have gotten to the point now that I send it back until it's right, but I always get this " stink-eye" look, or a deer in the headlights look from the kids behind the counter. I try not to be impolite, but improperly cooked chicken could kill someone. No one really seems to care. I'm surprised the health department could give a good rating when food isn't served hot. I like you guys, food taste and price are good. Serve it hot and fresh and you will have a line out the door. Stop cutting corners dammit! read more

We were driving home from Mount Rainier and wanted dinner. We saw Oshio and it looked like most Teriyaki restaurants. My husband ordered the beef, and when it came it was like shoe leather. There were actual bits of grizzle. It was not edible. I ordered chicken and beef. Ate some of the chicken. A couple of days later I tried to eat the beef I took home, but it was just awful. They are using the lowest quality beef available. You cannot chew it. The chicken was OK, but I would never go there. I love this place. When it comes to hot fresh teriyaki they do it right. Portions are generous and their home made teriyaki sauce is the best I've ever had. I buy a quart once a month to use at home on everything. They do sushi to... I'm not a fan of sushi but my kids are. Trappers is the place to go for sushi they say but my kids tell me Oshio is just as good as Trappers and go there now. They have a nice dinning area but I usually call and do take out. Absolutely terrible customer experience. If I could give no stars I would. I was basically scammed through their POS system they use through Google. Because I have a busy schedule I had ordered at 9 in the morning to be picked up at 11:30 through the online system. To my suprise when I came in the store to pick up, they had no idea about my order. Apparently they had changed their online POS system at 11 that morning and I had made the order at 9 so my order and money just basically got lost. They basically made me feel like it was my fault for ordering through online with them and that the POS system I ordered through was a different business that would have to refund me. They asked for some information for my order. Asked me to pay an additional 17.17 for the 2 bubble teas and told me I should have my money through the other business within a week, well it has now been a month and I am SOL. Unbelievable... I've tried liking this place. This is the last time though. I put my to-go order in with the lady owner, sat down and waited for my food and noticed 3 people that ordered after me had gotten their food. The menu has continued to evolve over time - love the Beef Chow Mein. They continue to produce consistently good food at a great price. If you are hungry, and like teriyaki, then you'll love this place. They opened a sushi bar next store - can't wait for it to show-up in Yelp so I can review it. Always check the specials board in the front of the restaurant as they often have very intriguing combinations. Depending on the day you might see grilled shrimp with almond chicken and fried rice or maybe even tempura veggies with teriyaki beef.
