What a cute little place. Food was absolutely amazing! So fresh and serving sizes that had me full & with leftovers!!!! My first time in Bellingham and it did not disappoint. I really wish I would have ordered the Hash Brown sandwich but I really enjoyed my "James Dean" chicken breast sandwich Service was fantastic! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They have a collection of random salt & pepper shakers (my favorite was the shark with the leg in its mouth). Wish I would've taken more pics. Had a great breakfast with family and friends.

INCREDIBLE. We've been here before, in fact bought some of their mugs for at home. Last night we decided to get up early and go for a drive in the Mustang-- the drive from Edmonds is a little over an hour. I would say the food is worth the drive, but who doesn't enjoy a nice Saturday morning drive on the freeway? In any case, we both ordered the chicken and waffles, one with country gravy and one with butter and syrup. AMAZING. The waffles literally had little crunchy pieces of sugar in them--so good. The ambiance screams retro 50's diner, the staff is super friendly and we'll be back again another day!

Typical whatcom county breakfast location very cute. The food is good. The prices are fair. It's worth giving a shot if you are in the area.

It's a divey place that is pretty small, but it's fun and a classic location in Bellingham. They have a mimosa flight which I recommend, but I can save you the trouble and just recommend you order the blueberry lemonade one. I went for breakfast and it was pretty dead, but at 1130 the place exploded with people, so if you want an early meal, get there at open. I'm a sucker for Chicken & Waffles and there are very few places in town that do them, so I was pretty happy that they were still on the menu. My friend got a breakfast with eggs, chicken, hash, gravy, and a biscuit, and the name escapes me, but it's not for the small stomached or faint of heart. Okay, not the BEST brunch I've ever had, but definitely solid. Service was friendly and somewhat attentive - it's hit or miss with promptness in this town - but we weren't in a huge rush so it wasn't terrible and we had time to joke around. I wouldn't go if I had places to be, but for a moderately leisurely time with delicious drinks and solid food, Horseshoe cafe is a Bellingham institution that should be on everyone's bucket list.

Fantastic! We were in the mood for fish and chips somewhere around Bellingham and this place popped up on Yelp. We drove up The Guide about 4 miles north of where Walmart is and sailed right past it at first - I don't think there's a road sign you can see from the highway. Got turned around and found it just set back from the road by a parking lot. The decor is fun! Lots of typical diner style fixtures are inside. Diner-correct tables and chairs and counter stools complete the look. Claire, our server did a great job serving us. She was friendly and attentive and everything waitstaff should be in an idealic diner. Our fish and chips were really good: crisp crinkle style chips and really tasty fish hit the spot. Generous portions, so we brought some chips home with us because we wanted to save room to try some pie. Good call. The rhubarb pie was wonderful with very nice crust and a custardy, partly sweet, partly tart filling as it should be. "Our Diner" could indeed become our diner and we'll be back to try other menu items on our next visit. We feel we discovered a treasure today. Just be aware, this wonderful little joint is only open for breakfast through lunch and closes at 2pm every day.

Our Diner is a hidden gem. It is located off Meridian near used cars lots and gas stations, but is so worth stopping for. The diner is 50s theme and does a great job giving that 50s vibe through decor and music. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. And the food is served is plentiful delicious portions. Overall I'd say Our Diner is a fun dining experience.

Wonderful food and drinks. I started with oyster shooters (Willapa Bay) along with a Lion's Tail cocktail. Sierra said the bourbon and lime complement each other. I wouldn't have thought so and thought it a bit of an odd choice. But she was right and I was wrong: it was fabulous. One of the most delicious drinks I've ever had, for my tastes. She gave me several recommendations for dinner. I picked the Jalapeño Chicken. It was luscious and flavorful, but the best part of it was my choice of Balsamic Brussels sprouts as my side--oh my! These were so delicious I ordered two more batches to have at home. Lovely espresso martini to end it all.

We were seated promptly by a friendly hostess at a table in DT Fairhaven, and our server was the bartender. After being seated, we waited a long time without anyone taking our order. We eventually asked if we had a server and were told it was him, with no apology or explanation. We ordered drinks and food, but after more than 40 minutes, we noticed two tables seated after us had already been served, finished eating, and were leaving. At that point, we asked for the check and said we would not be staying. About 15 minutes later, the server returned with our food instead of the check. We declined the meal and sent it back. He then asked if we wanted it boxed to go, which we also declined. His reaction suggested frustration rather than understanding. We never got to try the food, so we can't comment on it. The service, however, was well below expectations given the restaurant's reputation. This was lunch on July 15, 2026. We may try The Black Cat again in the future, hoping this was just an off day.

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a young boy, attending special family dinners or just going to get pizza after soccer practice. Now well into adulthood I still find myself coming here with my wife for an excellent dining experience, any time or day of the week. This week we decided to go in for brunch, and I couldn't think of a better place to spend a dreary Washington morning. When you walk into this cozy little restaurant the smells of fresh breads and fried potatoes invite you into an elevated breakfast experience. Our hostess sat us down at a table almost immediately with the same friendly smile and welcoming attitude that I have come to expect from the staff at the fork. After sitting down and sipping of fresh squeezed orange juice we ordered two of our favorite breakfast plates. Chicken Fried Steak, and Corned Beef Hash. The Corned Beef Hash consisted two poached eggs sitting on a heaping pile of shredded corned beef that was both crispy and tender. Typically this dish is served with peppers and onions, but on this trip my wife opted out and the chef was happy to oblige our request. I can say from prior experiences that the peppers and onions are a fantastic addition to this mix. I went with the Chicken fried steak. A classic breakfast that requires a large appetite to face on your own! The cube steak was breaded and fried with the traditional seasonings, then covered in a house made gravy that was so rich and flavorful I couldn't put my fork down. I ordered mine with over medium eggs that were cooked perfectly, something that other kitchens can rarely get right. If you are a fan of Chicken Fried Steak then you must try this one! Both of our plates came with a large portion of golden brown home fries, and a fluffy biscuit served with honey butter and a peach preserve. Our server was extremely nice and very attentive. Although the restaurant was fairly busy she made sure our every need was taken care of :) I once again left the fork feeling full, and extremely satisfied. If the doors to this amazing restaurant are open, I will definitely be coming back again and again.

After the first bite, there was a puddle of blood on her plate. She did not eat the hamburger and when the server picked it up and saw the food on the plate, she didn't even make a comment.
