In times like this, they need more restaurants doing with this restaurant is doing and that is order at the counter serve your own coffee, and then bring the food out to you. It's getting so frustrating to go to a restaurant that is short staffed. No staff dining rooms closed. This is definitely the way of the future since nobody wants to work low level jobs. We got there. Waited 10 minutes outside. They have serve your own coffee or tea while you're waiting. We ordered at the front desk. Got our food within about 10 minutes. Everything was hot fresh tasted great. Will definitely be back since they're about the only restaurant that still open in this town. read more

We sat outside because the inside was packed. I had brought a book to read because being a weekend I figured service would be slow. Not so! My order was out so fast and the food was delicious. And the gal out front ( I think her name may have been Rae?) was AMAZING! This woman deserves a raise! What a ray of sunshine! She even asked if my pup would like some bacon when she saw her snub her nose at a piece of potato. It made me happy just to listen to her greet the customers and tell them goodbye when they left. The place doesn't look like much, but the line to get in this place on a cold December morning, lets you know something special is going on. The staff were warm and welcoming. Walked in put our order in at the cashier and prepaid. The server just brings napkins, silverware, and then the food. There is an area to get your own coffee, creamers, sugar, and ice water. Also all condiments, jam and butter are here too. We liked this! Never ran out of coffee. Our food was incredible. Had the chicken fried steak and the southern scramble. We each had a biscuit too and they were so good and flaky. Nice and light. The eggs on my scramble were so fluffy, like a cloud. This cute little shop is VERY busy for breakfast. We checked out around 11:00 AM from our hotel and this was right across the street. We were able to get a table within 30 minutes and the hostesses were very kind. You take all your orders to the front and pay there - the only problem I really saw was that there was no social distancing at all, and it was really hard to get to the self-serve drinks since the lines usually covered that section. Fantastic breakfast spot! Tiny dining room but they're very efficient. They even let us sit in our car while we waited. My classic eggs benedict was delicious. The cinnamon rolls are made fresh on the spot. Don't miss out! My kids devoured their pancakes and waffles. The sausage links were legit too! The only bummer was the corned beef hash. November 2024: This is a local eatery that focuses on comfort food. We had breakfast here- pancakes, eggs, bacon, biscuit, potatoes, coffee, etc. The biscuits are excellent! They are fluffy, light, and fresh. The biscuits and cinnamon rolls are from scratch. The service style is friendly, casual, and you order at the counter. A server brings the food out. There is a drinks area where you fill your own drinks and refills. One thing I think would boost the food quality of this eatery is if they did away with the packaged smuckers jams and spreads and syrup and offered something homemade. Just a thought. read more

This place was packed but I love how they hand you the menu as soon as you walk up. Go order at the register inside and have a seat. The kitchen is out in the open which is cool. We are vegetarian and it's always a challenge to find vegetarian options but not only did they have vegetarian omelets, they were the best omelets I've had in years! Their biscuits are hot, fresh and flaky with plenty of options for spreads. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. We were headed out of town and decided to grab some breakfast and randomly decided to stop in at "Our Place." I read reviews everywhere we go before going to get some food ideas and to get some ideas of what others think of wherever we are going, I quickly got on Yelp and noticed right away their reviews were excellent, along with their Facebook reviews. They had excellent reviews all around. You typically always see some negative reviews here and there but that wasn't the case here so we decided we were going to for sure have some breakfast and I'm glad we did. We walked in and the waitress was super friendly, gave us all the details we needed. We looked over their menu which is a good size menu with lots of super good options and decided on the half order of biscuits and gravy along with the corn beef hash with diced hash browns, two eggs, and toast. We ordered their homemade cinnamon rolls (made daily!) to go. It was all great. My Husband said the corn beef hash was absolutely amazing. It's for sure a top spot to go for breakfast! They have self serve coffee, lemon water, and other options too. It's a little diner type feel, super cute on there, and really clean. They were cleaning tables really quickly, making sure things stayed clean and made sure everyone was taken care of. We will be back for sure! read more

I was hoping this would be what the other reviews mentioned but it fell very short. First I need to mention it is self serve coffee and drinks and you order your food at the front (very crowded) and then they bring the food to you. My eggs benedict was ok, nothing special and the home fries that came with it were definitely not fresh. They seemed to have been cooked well done and then sat around till it ended up on my plate. Came in for breakfast 7-8-24 after driving from Forks Washington. You order at the counter and get your own drinks and condiments. Ordered food and it came out in 5 minutes hot and fresh. Kids had the chicken strips and fries which they loved. I had chicken fried steak (huge!) and it was great. Wife hade omelet and pancakes. Not a big place, but we didn't have to wait. Service is self service for beverages and you order at the counter but there is plenty of cheerful staff to help if you need it. If you are affected by draft don't sit near the door but as busy as they are you might not have a choice. But well worth having breakfast here. read more

This restaurant is slightly pricey, but compared to other restaurants in the area. The food is far superior to most as far as flavor goes! The service here is very good, and very friendly!
