This place is pretty amazing. You wait in line to order and they give you a table number. You sit down and they'll bring your food out when it's ready. Your drinks are self serve. We ordered the petite breakfast sandwhich with sausage, petite breakfast pancake, a side of 2 eggs, and the breakfast burrito. As a home baker who takes pride in their biscuits--the biscuit that come with the breakfast sandwhich is great, and the sausage is really delicious. The pancakes are generously portioned and quite delicious. The breakfast burrito was definitely the highlight though--it wasn't just some scrambled eggs wrapped in a tortilla--it was dense and well balanced with its ingredients--and they grilled the tortilla. Ordered 2 omelette's for breakfast, after tax and tip $39. One was the meat omelette which had next to no meat in it. The other was the Egg's Benedict Omelette which again had next to no ham in it. The potatoes were fair at best with less than a cup of them provided. The biscuit taste like it had been sitting for 2 hours under a heat lamp. I counted 8 employees, 5 of which stood around and did literally nothing while I was there. The person that took my order seemed annoyed like I was imposing. I asked for my receipt which seemed to send them over the edge. We have been there in the past and enjoyed it. Friendly service with good food. A bit pricey for self-service, but overall would go back. I enjoyed the cinnamon French toast (tasted like 2 cinnamon roles) and my friend enjoyed the corned beef hash. The hash meal was very filling and the coffee was decent. read more

We've eaten here in the past and have enjoyed it but apparently since Covid they changed things up and we won't be coming back. Food was average, but the experience is terrible. After you order at the counter everything is self service. Want coffee? Go get it yourself. Water? Get it yourself. Salt and pepper? Get a bunch of little paper envelopes yourself. And they crowded the tables in so it's crowded and noisy. Really felt I got no value for the money spent. And they had the nerve to ask for a tip when you pay! I guess there is a potato shortage in WA. The basic breakfast for 14.00 was just that, basic. Nothing special and the amount of home fries was dismal and very small. Wish I had taken a pic. 2 pc of ok bacon and a biscuit that was sopped with butter, 2 eggs were cooked as I wanted. People seem to like the place, its cozy and the people are nice. Need to get the cook a bigger spoon for the potato servings though. read more

On this typical rainy February, we stopped into Our Place because it had what we believed we were in the mood for, late breakfast. I got the Eggs and Sausage gravy, my wife got the spinach omelette, and my sister got the eggs Benedict. The food came crazy fast, and was honestly above expectations! My sisters hollandaise was perfectly tangy in her words, and my wife bragged right off the bat that she would return. I found the sausage really tasty, my wife's favorite with her omelette was the flavor of the Spinach and cheese together. We decided to stop here due to the great reviews we had seen. It's a quaint, eclectic place with great homestyle food. The location is small with decent parking. There are not many tables so you'll want to get there early during peak times/seasons. When we arrived we got a warm greeting and were taken to a table immediately. After looking over the menu, we went to the counter to place our order. The person taking the order was fast and friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions. I ordered the biscuits and gravy... it was very good! I really liked the gravy but the biscuit was the superstar. It was light and fluffy with a great taste. The sausage patty and the links were both quite good. The country potatoes were under seasoned and a bit disappointing. Their orange juice and hot chocolate were both fair, but nothing remarkable. Overall: good food, large portions, reasonable prices. I may go back but for me it wouldn't be worth waiting in line if it was crowded. read more

McDonald's card reader was down, and they lost our business. With no other fast food option in Ocean Shores, I turned to Yelp to feed my starving (and irritable, including me) family. This place was open, looked like it had decent food, wasn't too expensive, and was still serving breakfast at noon (which just sounded good to all of us). We were greeted by super friendly folks, and were sat down quickly. I liked the "look over the menu, and then come to the counter to order" process. Overall our food was very good, had big portions, and was quite filling. We will go back there. I wish we can award half stars, because I would give this place four and a half, not four. A few critiques for folks thinking about eating here: there is a "greasy spoon" vibe to the place. The tables were wobbly, the plasticware cups, the decent (but not amazing) coffee that has been in a carafe for maybe a couple hours. My potato's were almost on the edge of being too greasy. That kind of stuff. My wife had one of the skillets, and she really liked it, but it also was on the edge of being too greasy. For me, I notice it, but mostly don't care. I point it out, because some folks REALLY care. ‍ My 7 year olds "small pancake combo" had an epic sized pancake, and eggs and meat. It was awesome. My 13 year old had a waffle combo, and enjoyed it. Came on a Sunday morning. It was busy. We were seated and given menus. Once you know what you want, you go up to the register, order and then you get your table number. Then you grab silverware, beverages and napkins. A bit unorthodox but I liked it. The staff were super friendly. You could tell they enjoy their work and take pride in the food they make. All three of our meals were good. Not abundant portions, but good food so thats what mattered to us. Wait style is a little different - they get you a table, then you order at the counter, get a number and they bring it out to you. Well, this is a first. My good review was negated by a bad review replaced by a good review. Apparently my previous feelings about lack of table service were overruled by my immediate hunger and lack of other readily available breakfast options, oh and my wife, she overruled me, too. There is a LOT to love at this place and the crowd during the pandemic was HUGE. They are observing MOST Covid protocols but it is still a bit tight since this has always been small. If you're concerned about the bug, you might want to order to go. Great house made biscuits and cinnamon rolls. Prices are reasonable and service is spot on. The super tall kid with glasses who was seating and running food (and pretty much everything else in the dining room) was amazing. I heard him handle an unhappy customer with grace & style making sure he did *everything* possible to satisfy the customer including remaking their food AND issuing a refund. AMAZING! Great little diner with quick, friendly service, amazing food, and very generous portions. The biscuits and gravy were divine!

Excellent breakfast food. This is a popular spot. Expect a decent wait on holidays and weekends. That being said, the food really is exceptional! We split 2 meals, the Greek Scramble and the Eggs Benedict (get this one a biscuit instead of the English muffin it comes with). The scramble was delicious. Came here on Friday with my kiddos... we were camping and needed a nice warm breakfast. Hahaha once I figured out the ordering system(walk in, Place order, then sit down)... it ended up being a great breakfast. My kids tried to eat the huge stack of pancakes. Came at about 8:45 on a Sunday morning. There was already a bit of a wait, and we ended up waiting 20-30mins. A few tables outside opened up but the hosts didn't immediately seat people. A couple behind us went up to the waitress and asked to sit at one of the tables and she allowed it. We did the same and were able to sit down. The tables outside were nicely spaced out and we felt comfortable with COVID and everything. You order/pay inside. We got a veggie omelet, and waffle combo with sausage, over hard eggs, and a side of their potatoes and a biscuit. The food tasted good and felt worth the money. The biscuits were fresh and buttery, definitely 10/10. The food also came out pretty quick. I would definitely return! read more

This is a tough one. The food was good. Scramble and biscuits were great. Ordered pancake combo to go, drove home to find no syrup or butter. Was extremely disappointed to see the restaurant completely packed. Not following state covid orders whatsoever. I have deep empathy for restaurants who are struggling- but to see zero respect for the pandemic and 100% capacity vs the required 25% was extremely disappointing. Won't be back. read more

We were greeted right away by the hostess and she was so nice. She asked if we had been here before and we said no. She explained how to order and where the coffee and condiments were. I had to get up 5 times to get satisfied on coffee. 3. Due to the self service process traffic with staff and customers walking around while you're trying to eat. It's distracting and loud. Never eat the fish and chips. 3 small overpriced flavorless rock hard fish sticks. The fries were a step away from inedible. Extremely overcooked with a weird chemical taste. I took 1 bite of the ranch sauce and nearly spit it out. The tarter sauce was practically rancid. The server walked by explaining how wonderful the fish and chips smelled, I told her it smelled horrible and tasted weird. She was offended but did ask if I wanted anything else. The person I was eating with thinks Our Place is the best restaurant in the universe so I would have paid a price if I had if I had sent it back. Food was good but is small seating area, so during Covid wait was very long. They were also short staffed apparently that day. I chose to sit outside to decrease the wait and not be so confined with others People were waiting in door way for tables so there was no social distancing. Also you get your own coffee and utensils, etc so precautions were not possible. Also had community condiments , Tabasco, etc instead of Indic servings so everyone was touching the same bottles. I also didn't notice any good cleaning of table outside. Good place but I think they are too small and not enough staff to practice safety appropriately during covid. This is definitely "our place" for breakfast. This little breakfast place is appropriately named. They have huge portions and the meal is always hot. They serve it right away and we have never asked for it to be reheated. Efficiently ran by a small crew, we now know the routine of getting the menu, finding a table and then going up to the counter to order our meals. All the members of the crew are friendly and always around to see what we need. The menu is typical comfort food but has just the right amount of variety to please the pallet. I like it that the cook will each meal as it is being ordered so that he's always right on top of it when each meal is served. Along with the popularity of the place, they sometimes run out of places to sit and you'd have to wait for a place. But we've have always gone early enough so that we don't have to wait in line. read more

Great food, amazing service and friendly staff! It's small so definitely get there before the breakfast rush but the wait is worth it.
