Get there early! We'll worth the spot we chose for breakfast, early morning with the locals, food hot, delicious and plenty of it!

Food was okay but service was 10/10! The cinnamon roll was too sweet (too much frosting) but I appreciated the warmth of the bun itself. Got the two eggs and bacon, bacon was super crispy (smidge too salty) and eggs were fine. Potatoes were amazing, soft, crispy, delicious. The biscuit was good, really solid.

Veggie omelette and biscuits and gravy. Super fast service, counter order style. Super friendly and they know all the tide pool spots!

Good fast service with a smile. Pretty big menu and large portion sizes. Counter style ordering, small but quaint and clean.

Omg this place is a GEM!!! Rachel and Terese are the epitome of welcoming and hospitality! Our place is a cute charming local place with amazing food! Mom and I each had one of their crab specials - Benedict and omelette! Let me tell you, they were LOADED and totally worth the price! Do yourself a favor and stop here for breakfast! Oh also, if you don't get the cinnamon bun, you're missing out, it was the best I've ever had!

Best place in town for Breakfast!!! You can't skip this one! LOVE the staff Just make sure you bring some time and patience if you eat in, or just stop by and order for take out!

Wow! This place is very good for breakfast and lunch. While we were visiting Ocean Shores (3 times last summer) we came here three times which 2 days in a row. It is a small restaurant but the food is very delicious. Staff is very friendly and besides it is always full when we come, the service is pretty fast. I also love the fact that we order and pay ridge away before we have our food and they give us a cup to self service the coffee. I totally love love love it. Instead keeping asking for more sofre I just got there and grab my own and there is a few different choices of cream (vanilla coffee cream). Another time we came here was for lunch. We both got hamburgers. It was good but I really don't like when they use frozen parties. I just don't think it has a very good taste. I recommend this place and will be going back again when we go visit Ocean Shores.

At Bennett's they have both cod and halibut. Unfortunately for me they only batter their cod and if you want halibut you have to have panko crumbed. The person behind the counter where you order said they prep ahead and they couldn't put the batter on halibut. I also just wanted water as that's my favorite beverage. She told me I couldn't have a regular glass of water with ice. I had to buy it in a bottle with their name printed on the label. It felt like a way to wring yet more money out of their customers. I much prefer generosity to stinginess. It just put me off from the beginning. The cod was fine. But unlike most restaurants when you get fish & chips, there was no coleslaw. All that was on my plate was part of a limp lettuce leaf for a poor excuse of a garnish. We had 2 veggie wraps and a fish sandwich in our party as well. Everybody liked their food well enough. My daughter really liked her fish sandwich. I eat out a lot and Bennett's cutting corners and lack of generosity is unlike the vast majority of restaurants I've been to. I have no desire to return. My mother-in-law lives in Ocean Shores and had suggested the Thai place. Guess we'll go there next time.

A much needed ocean therapy was calling my name and I drove west. Ended up in Ocean Shores. I left my town due to how crazy busy it would be with parades and a carnival, not knowing what's in store here. A pleasant surprise to see the streets lined with families. Anyway, got to shop, enjoy the festivities, and more importantly spend time walking the beach. Gorgeous day! Which led me to try something new and ended up here at the Garage. The atmosphere here was electric with Mariners on a screen over the bar and the FIFA World Cup games on the other screen. Love the open patio area, where a cooling breeze can be felt all throughout the Garage. They were a bit busy, so it took a minute to greet me, but at least I was able to find a table. I ended up ordering their Fish & Chips, and a cup of their chowda! DAMN!!! That's a mighty fine cup of chowda! And the baked buttered crips was spot on. Never had it that way (just the usual soft sourdough or oyster crackers) but them sliced crisps were perfect and I'm going to have to try serving it that way at home. I started out with the Hot Honey Old Fashioned, and surprisingly, there was some heat. Thoroughly enjoyed it! The Fish & Chips were breaded a bit differently. Reminds me of the cornmeal you'd find in the south with fried catfish and what not. The cod was flaky and perfect. It came with three pieces and it was just right. The fries complimented it well. The tarter was legit. Not the standard white sauce, but seemed to have a hint of dill in it. All in all, a great experience for my first time. The staff was busy, but they ensured I was tended to. As always, enjoy and Happy Ocean Therapy!!

The food quality has improved a great deal since I was last here a few years ago. I ordered the seafood fettuccine, cheese curds and Brussels sprouts. The serving sizes of the pasta and sprouts was for 2 people. I inhaled the pasta dish, so incredibly tasty. The seafood was fresh, and there was just one small hard bit of clam shell but that happens when serving them on the shell. Jumbo shrimp wasn't expected and seemed to have been swimming that morning. Tasty salmon. Divine sauce, which I don't think I've ever thought of an Alfredo before. Quality cheese. The sprouts were roasted/blackened, and tasted great. A bit of fried onions, I think, sprinkled on top that I just ate around (just not for me). Cheese curds were still hot and fresh with marinara and a BBQ sauce I added. Leftovers fed me lunch the next day. It was one of those meals where I was ful but wanted to keep eating, it was so delicious.

The service seemed friendly overall, but there were moments that said otherwise. When a glass of water was spilled right in front of the server, she didn't offer any extra napkins or help clean the table. My pasta was worse than Domino's. I didn't even take it to go -- it was completely bland, and the shrimp were tough. My aunt ordered fish with vegetables, and the carrots were clearly burnt. At first, I thought maybe it was some kind of preparation style I didn't understand, but no -- they were simply burnt. Honestly, it's especially disappointing because I had recommended this place to my friends before. I live a few hours away and came here partly for good food, but even being very hungry after the long wait didn't make the meal any better. The oysters were also flavorless. On top of that, I didn't feel well after dinner and had stomach pain. I can't say for sure it was caused by the food, but it definitely added to the negative experience.

Run if you don't have extra thick skin to tolerate a blantly unfriendly racist cook. I live and work in Ocean Shores. I make an effort to support locals when the season's visitors are at an all-time low. This year has been cooler than usual. The tourists aren't coming in hoards yet. My husband and I stopped to support the business. We were friendly and spoke with other people waiting. The cashier girl must have gone to take a break. The cook never greeted us. There was only one customer in the store. We came in and waited patiently for 10 minutes for someone to take our order. We put in our order with the cook. He used the greasy gloves to run the register and touch cash. This wasn't acceptable to me. However, I don't work in sanitation or food service, so maybe that's OK to do between touching food? He glared at us and really just didn't want to be there. We felt the silent hate emanating from his words. Luckily, 6 new clients appeared. The cashier girl returned and took their orders. While 8 people are waiting inside the little takeout store.. the cook turned towards me while I was misconversation with another local and asked what I wanted on the brat. I asked him what options were available. He just glared at me with extreme impatience. This made everyone in the store, and I just paused in shock. The cashier girl just looked helpless. Since the cook never answered, I said my husband ordered the brat and would eat anything because we are fat. He just stomped back to his station without a word. This was witnessed by locals and visitors alike. We will never support a business who hates Asians and Native Americans. This is not a common experience in Ocean Shores. The locals are usually very kind and reasonable. I hope that the owner is aware of the cooks behavior and helps him have better customer relations. This is not acceptable.
