Outback has always been one of my favorite go-to places, but my last three experiences have made me feel otherwise. Today, I walked in and there was no host present because she was busy bussing tables. I understand being short-staffed since I once worked at Outback, but I'm just sharing my experience. The waiter was very nice, sweet, and pleasant, so the bad food wasn't her fault. so that's the only reason I'm giving it a 2 star otherwise it would most likely be one or zero for the most part. I was not impressed with the pasta, and I'm a pasta lover. It tasted like sugar and was not good at all. It only had 4 scallops, and 4 shrimp in it, which was kind of weird. The Boomerang Rita with four different margaritas, which usually comes out looking really cute as shown on the website, was a disappointment. I sent it back because it lacked any garnishes or salt on the rim, and the limes were very old and dehydrated. When they brought it back, it still wasn't right. The drinks were okay at best, but the last one tasted like a handful of salt ,there was no effort whatsoever. I probably won't be back for a while because I'm very disappointed--three strikes for me. My mom had a three-course menu, and it was pretty bad. Her baked potato was cold, her burger wasn't well done, and it was cold as well. The only thing she enjoyed was her Caesar salad. Soon as we came in we were greeted by Juan who was also our waiter, his customer service was excellent. I ordered a filet mignon with a side of sweet potato and a fully loaded baked potato made to perfection. The meat had such an excellent taste. Also ordered a virgin pina colada. Attempted to dine in this location on Monday night with my 3 year old... upon entry I was greeted by the hostess who said "how many".. what a nice greeting..... taken to a booth where I sat over 10 minutes before being acknowledged. After 5 minutes I asked the hostess if anyone was going to take care of us she said yes... 5 minutes later I finally see someone go to another table and then disappear again without saying anything to me..5 minutes later the same person (Yaya) comes finally to the table. I immediately order my son's food with my drink... his tenders and fries come out and as you can see in the photo... yes they tasted as bad as they look. Hard as a rock, dry, but according to Yaya they were fresh out the grease... my son loves tenders and fries....he didn't want these. I I order my appetizer wings...tried to order a salmon dish but they were out of broccoli.... I decided I would be fin with the wings...20 minutes later... those never came out, neither did our sever. In the photo the 2 people sitting down are a host and her work boyfriend, they were so entertained with their phones and each other my poor experience right behind them went unnoticed. I love the Alice Springs Chicken and like to see that the menu keeps on expanding very so often. This location tends to be very dirty at times with lots of trash all over. My husband and a few of his military friends (plus myself) came in for the Veterans Day special, and sadly, there was nothing "special" about it. Our server only came once to take our order, never checked back, and most of us never got our waters. The soups came out barely warm, and no one ever asked how things were. It wasn't even busy... We went around 11:30 several employees were standing around chatting instead of helping. As a server myself, I understand how hectic things can get, but good teamwork and hospitality make all the difference. On top of that, I still paid a little over $50 for my own meal and two cocktails, and honestly, it felt like a complete joke and a waste of money. If a restaurant is going to offer a special for veterans, it should truly feel like one. A tip for the servers: On holidays or special occasions, guests are usually more generous especially when they receive great service. The restaurant is not clean, should have been my first clue. The waitress was nice but not very attentive. The bread was cold. The bloomin onion was good. My mom's steak was very bland and her baked potato not cooked properly. My Queensland chicken and shrimp had a good flavor and the meal was hot. My concern is the chicken looked a little pink, so I was afraid to eat it. We recently had Outback Steakhouse in Maryland a couple of weeks ago and the food was delicious. It would be nice for a steakhouse to cook your steak how you wanted it, but this method works too. Other places would cook it too much as if it always comes out medium well to well done. Steak: very juicy, had flavor, and was big (32 oz)! I loved it to the point steak sauce was not necessary. I did not have high expectations for this kind of steak house, but this satisfied me to the full extent! Side Salad: very small complaint, my salad had too much dressing. I still ate it because it was still good for me Service: I wish I had gotten her name, but she was super sweet! She always kept us updated with our food when it took long and she made sure we were okay with our drinks and anything in general. Do not recommend. My wife and I went for dinner but did not eat. There was a lot of free parking but when we went inside we stood there without any staff acknowledging our presence. At least 3 staffers saw us and just went about their business. The restaurant was maybe 30% occupied so it wasn't due to overwhelming work. Customer service was good, we received our food in a timely manner. I was shocked by the current prices of steaks on the menu. Most of the prices here are way higher than if I went home and just made a steak myself and the quality would be better anyways. The ribeye was 32$. I ordered the ribeye, I ordered it rare, it came out close enough to rare. But it was poorly trimmed if even trimmed at all, the steak had plenty of tendons and a large amount of fat that I needed to remove myself. I paid extra for the garlic butter and I had to use a different plate and scrape it off the steak due to it being such a strong flavor and super salty. The sides I got were a loaded baked potato and Cesar salad. the salad was fine, it tasted a little tart which made me concerned, but it was fine. The baked potato was small and not impressive, loaded would be a stretch in my opinion. Hardly any of the toppings were used. The restaurant itself was really empty and quiet, but it was also a Tuesday so that makes sense, but it also made me think that people are not willing to spend so much for such basic foods. read more

The outer appearance was like all outback's and was a well kept exterior. They greeted us at the door and seated us immediately. I am trying to eat clean so I opted out of a steak this visit. I ended up ordering the grilled chicken with broccoli and a Caesar salad (not pictured, I was hungry) lol but the chicken was tender and very well seasoned. The broccoli was on point as always! It seems that the quality of the steak changed starting about two years ago. I spend over $20 and I am only able to chew half of the steak. The rest is tough and full of gristle. Some of the staff only cared to play and gossip about the patrons. Even witness a waitress drop an entire order of food with broken plates and glass. The skillet and steak was cold I've never seen a "hot skillet" be cold to the touch. Taste and temp of the steak wasn't a fresh off the grill steak. The Queensland chicken& shrimp pasta was nothing to ever order. The chicken was so basic and lack flavor. About 2-2.5: The hubs and I came to Outback for an early dinner, as I had received a gift card a few years back. The menu is pretty extensive, offering daily specials, starters, steaks, other non-steak entrees, various sides, and desserts. We started off with a Bloomin' Onion, a hand-carved onion that is deep-fried until golden brown, and served with a spicy signature bloom sauce. This was a little overly fried, as it was super well-done (even for my liking), and heavier on the batter. Also, it didn't seem as if the excess oil was shaken off, as it came in a puddle of oil T___T The spicy signature bloom sauce is heavily horseradish-based and super salty, which seems to make up for the onion being not seasoned. For our entrees, I had the Victoria's Filet Mignon, while the hubs had the Bone-In Natural Cut Ribeye, both of us opting for the Baked Potato and the House Salad. My filet was just 'okay,' as while it was soft, it wasn't juicy and not flavorful. The Ribeye was slightly better, and even though it came out a perfect medium, there didn't seem to have enough marbling to give it more juiciness and flavor. The baked potatoes came out piping hot, and the House Salad was fresh, but might need a request for additional dressing. Our server, Christian B., was super friendly, attentive, and gave us some of his personal favorites and recommendations. He checked up on us throughout the evening and made sure that everything was good. The restaurant itself packed to the max, and even with it being super busy and lots of tables to juggle, Christian did a great job in making sure each party was attended to!
