Had a munchy after a long hike at gunpowder, just wanted bloomin onion. Called in for curbside carryout. Got there, sat in the car for about 10 mins, no one came out or anything. I had to go into the bar and ask about my order, finally, this young girl finally came out. The bloomin onion was fine, greasy as always. I just find it weird that, in the bag that I received, just bloomin onion, a short bread, and a scoop of butter, nothing more. No knife and folks, napkins, nothing. And the bag was massive, just seems rather lonely in that large brown paper bag. It feels like something is missing in there.... From the time we called ahead to being seated was 10 minutes. The staff was very pleasant, The server Denise was extremely pleasant, efficient and very accommodating. Food came out quickly and cooked to perfection. The manager on duty, Larry checked on our meal and needs several times ensuring all was good. Friday night dinner with my husband. Busy night. Hour wait. Wanted a steak so we hung in there. Finally got seated, waitress was nice and friendly. Promptly got our drink order and appetizer order...we ordered the bloomin onion. She brought back out drinks and bread. I ordered the 6oz filet with baked potato and a salad. My husband the porterhouse with baked potato and asparagus. Our bloomin onion came out. Ive had it many times before, it was good as I was famished but a bit extra greasy for me. My salad came out, it was delicious. Our entrees came out, my potato was yummy, filet a bit dry but ok, it did have alot of flavor that made up for the dryness. My husbands steak also dry. First off we made a reservation for a party of 11 to celebrate my daughter's / Kayla's 20 th birthday and when we arrived we were told they could not accommodate us and had to split our party into 2 separate tables on opposite sides of the restaurant. Once we were seated we were given prepackaged plastic silverware. ( I have gone to numerous Outback's in the past 20 years and never have seen anything like this) . They brought us bread which was stale . The blooming onion we ordered seemed as if it was recooked. So of course steaks were ordered and when our plates came they had no steak knives to use. I asked the waitress for steak knives and she responded we have a silverware shortage, I'll check. 15 minutes later she returned with one knife . I have never been to a restaurant where the staff had such a cavalier attitude. Because we were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday I did not wish to make a scene. Very disappointed. We always eat in the bar and apparently the bartenders had reserved 3 seats at the bar for their friends- since when is that allowed. We were able to find other seats at the bar but 2 more people asked the same and they were they told were reserved. I asked for a filet medium with garlic butter on the side. My steak was well done and tough and the sauce was not on the side. I didn't complain because it's not worth it and they didn't bother to ask since I didn't eat the steak. This place is hit or miss. Today was a miss I either order on doordash if I have a coupon or use the site. Today pasta was watery, soup looked like mop water, salad is brown and old. Shrimp in pasta was dry and pasta sauce was watery and noodles stiff... but sometimes I open my bag and everything is perfect. But what I realized today is in the evening my food is great during the day around lunch it's always messed up. Whatever people are cooking at night please get them. Ordered $60+ online and paid online. Food brought out to us and then told we owed couple dollars more for salad that couldn't be chosen online. Gave them credit card. After 5 minute delay told credit card machine was down. Waited 20 minutes with food getting cold so they can get extra couple of dollars. Everyone knows Sunday's restaurant are usually crowded!! I was prepared to have to wait to be seated, but when got inside there was no wait ! The way my stomach was growling, had no time to waste! Seated right away and my waiter came over right away with bread !!!! Like her and my stomach had a conversation ! Bread was nice and hot, the butter melted right away! To hot for juice so nice glass of water did just the trick! Refreshing with a lemon ! Appetizer time got me some wings and Caesar salad!!!! The flavor in those wings and the crispy when you bite into them!!! Man was it a party in my mouth after dipping them in that sauce!!!! Gotta love the Dine Rewards Program. Hubby and I had finally earned our first free meal so since everyone else in the house had plans last night we decided to treat ourselves to Outback. I love that they made it possible for parties of 2 (who don't have humongous appetites) to enjoy the Blooming Onion via the Onion Petals and quite frankly I think that the Petals are so much better - crisper coating and more flavorful. I ordered the special they have going on which is the Filet and Lobster Tail and I couldn't get over how large the filet actually was, at 6 oz I could barely finish it but since I have a teenager at home I knew that if I took it home for later I would never see it again so I pushed the baked potato to the side and made sure to finish every single, medium rare morsel. I am a little disappointed that apparently they have removed the option of having your lobster tail grilled from the menu but the broiled tail was tender and delicious so I guess I can get over it. I'd also love to see Outback market their Tangy Tomato Salad dressing. The salads are always fresh and as much as I love their Caesar Salads I simply cannot resist that sweet, spicy tomato dressing so the house salad it has to be. Demitrius was our server and he was very attentive and right there every time we needed something. One other suggestion, if you are going to have food runners deliver the food to the table, if they ask the customer if there is anything they need and the customer requests ketchup (like I did) or something else it would be great if they could actually ever return with it or give that message to the server. Long story short: Caesar Salad was without dressing Bread was stale Prime Rib was beyond scorched My fault for not checking everything before I left, but it was a Saturday night, so I thought all would be fresh. Sunday afternoon and we decide to hit outback for the first time in many years. Upon arrival we seen several people waiting to be seated and was offered a bar seat to skip the wait. Being hungry we happily accepted. Quickly realized something very disturbing. Only 1/3 of the restaurants tables were filled. I guess they were so understaffed that they had to shut down 2/3 of the restaurant. How pathetic... Browsing the Sticky menus, we realized how much outback has changed since our last visit. Undecided I went with some brisket meatballs and a side of mash. The kids went with the typical hamburger and chicken strips and the wife a grilled chicken and shrimp. The food took 33 minute to arrive and the proportions were small and left a lot to be desired. Everything was under seasoned and needed salt. The $15 shrimp and chicken plate was about 4 inches of chicken with a few shrimp. My brisket meatballs tasted defrosted and mass produced sponge meat. The kids meals? They were actually good. Outback is Outback, the food is exactly what you expect however Denise's service was top tier!! She could not have been more attentive, personable and kind! Once again, if you are going to Outback you should know what to expect but if you visit this particular location I can only hope you get to experience the professionalism and down right kind service of Denise, she is a gem! read more

Wow! Outback has really gone down hill, we use to love coming here. The sirloin steak was tasteless and stringy, I didn't know steaks could be stringy, it shredded when I tried to cut it. The wedge salad was half the size it use to be and the Pina Colada was in a juice glass, less than a cup. Add to that the higher prices and this was our last trip to Outback. Our family purchased take out after looking at the menu on line and ordered three diners. The meals were to include vegetables which were not given to us. The bread was stale and the bacon on the salmon was not cooked. Plus they only gave you one strip of uncooked bacon on top of the salmon which was a joke. I love getting the no rules pasta with shrimp and adding cherry tomatoes & mushrooms. The staff and cooks are always very accommodating and even seem to enjoy it from the plating presentation I get. It's outback and you can expect an outback visit. Solid menu with some great options. I like meat and particularly the filet mignon. Always cooked to perfection and the sides are always the freshest. My only gripe is when I order curbside-- seems like it always takes longer than it should. This has been the worst time since I've been coming here. 1st i called for a resevation and the girl that took my reservation was very rude. I told her i had four adults and wanted a large booth. We get there and they say 15-20 minutes well 45 minutes later we were still waiting so we asked why we weren't called yet and they were no one called you? Um no bitch ! So we got seated and ordered our drinks well she only brought out my drink and not my husband's we only got one set of utensils. We ordered a bloomin onion it was brought out cold. And then there were people that were seated after us getting there food before us. Totally ridiculous the whole entire experience. I will never go to that location ever again. First off I like Outback in general. But there are some interesting things about this one that I've noticed over the years perhaps due to meat eater culture (MAYBE!): Quite a few "incidents" have occurred. For instance, an angry wigger one time yelling at bar staff for forcing him to come back into the bar area to settle up. His claim was that he simply went out to smoke and had more then enough money to pay for the meal, over-emphasizing too that he was a BMW owner and kept pointing to it out on the parking lot saying "its mine and totally paid off!...how dare you think I was going to stiff you guys!". (insert roll eyes emoticon here folks). Another classic incident was even some further years back where this big thug ape guy threatened to beat up a guy who allegedly said something mean to his kids out in the parking lot. It caused quite a scene and the cops had to come. I dunno if this is typical for Outbacks in generals or the combination of meat enhancing testosterone levels plus bar and alcohol = brawl for all or even the area (which I've been around nearly my whole life and haven't witnessed as much nonsense in any other establishment...well except DeSantis and their fowl mouth old foggie arm fat drunk scene ;)) but its certainly a repeatable pattern here at this particular Outback. Regardless of the type of clientele that a type of restaurant attracts and the various culture they may be from, this Outback can actually be rather inconsistent. Ordering a usually delicious porterhouse can be a roll of the dice here depending on who's back in the kitchen. Sometimes it comes out awesome, that is consistently flavored and cooked so its balanced with just the right amount of pink, other times it can be undercooked and too pink and rubbery plus not as tasty. Or even overcooked. Sometimes, when I'd order a caesar salad, the dressing would not have the pepper mixed in with it already or missing something. I was also served a half rotted sweet potato recently. Waiters here can sometimes be a little strange, kinda like the type of person who may or may not keep human heads in the fridge. Again, don't know if all this is typical of Outbacks in general since this is the only one I've gone to consistently but its sure has me wondering and there's just always been a lot of strangeness at this Outback or things that are just off for some reason. Amazingly enough, I still eat here and so do many others which shows even a slightly off kilter Outback can still reel 'em in consistently. Seriously, if you ever wanted to own and run a franchise, I'd go with an Outback...rarely do they close and it goes to show the power meat has in culture considering that an odd Outback can thrive basically. read more

Good service speedy and food is always hot and prepared correctly. Great option instead of fast food I recommend the short rib nachos I always go for the blooming onion but I tried them and fell in love. If you like your meat well done stick with the Victoria's fillet cut so it will stay moist and tender. Best time to go is 5-530 in busy nights to avoid waiting to long. read more

Service and food was absolutely terrible! Once we were seated (which didn't take long, hostess was very nice) it took a decent amount of time to be acknowledged. Our server, jasmine, came over to get our drink order. Again, we wait a long time for fountain drinks. As do many others, we ordered a blooming onion and it took 36 minutes to come out after being ordered. As we continue to wait and wait, jasmine not once asked if I would like another sangria (someone was not worried about their sales or ppa). Once it had been 50 minutes for our sandwiches, I asked to speak to a manager. Meagan came over moments later, apologized, and offered to pay for our meal. I have a 10 month old, at this point he was fed up, bored and ready to go. I asked her to just have it put to go. When we got home, the blooming burger had no blooming sauce or onion on it, and was burnt when I asked for it to be cooked to medium. the crispy chicken sandwich had maybe a squirt or buffalo sauce. My family has visited outback many times and each time has been awesome. During our most recent visit we ordered the Aussie Sampler which was a good mix of some of their best appetizers. Our steaks came out exactly how we ordered them which is a a breath of fresh air since other restaurants cant seem to get it right.
