I don't get to go often, but I can't really complain about the times I've been. The service has been great every time thus far. The food has also been made fresh each time. We used to have one in Glasgow, but it was absolutely horrible, plus the employees were downright mean. But this one has been a great location. I wish we had one in Glasgow. The best part of going on road trips is looking for Long John Silver's or Captain D's! Always fried unhealthy goodness haha We forgot the cheese curds this time though. The best part are the little fried crispy crunchies in the box and the green beans are my fav Fish, shrimp and Chicken platters are our go to's. I hope Long John's always sticks around read more

I had the 2-piece fish with 6 grilled shrimp meal - 2 hush puppies, coleslaw, and waffle fries. The cod fillets were hot and crispy. The grilled shrimp were okay, but too salty. The hush puppies had no flavor so I didn't eat them after my first bite. The coleslaw was fresh and cold and as good as I've had! The waffle fries were not hot, and not crispy. Overall, I'd get the fish and coleslaw side but skip the rest. read more

Well do I got a story for you. This is for the A&W part not the Long John Silvers but I couldn't find that. So my grandson wanted a root beer and I wanted some as well, so we got the gallon root beer instead of individual ones. Well let me tell you that was my first mistake. It costs me $10 for one singular gallon of root beer. Oh and did I forget to mention that this gallon of root beer is IN A BAG. A bag of root beer. Back in my day they gave us gallon jugs like milk comes in. We received a literal bag that reminds me of the bags grapes come in from the grocery store. Also it was NOT homemade. I watched this lady put it in the bag straight from the drink machine that you get a Coke from at any other fast food restaurant. Watching this poor girl make this was actually hard to watch. She started by putting the bag just under the fountain and it made a huge mess, so she decided to get a cup and fill the cup to fill the bag which created the biggest mess possible. And when the lady handed me the bag of root beer it was dripping all over the place and made a huge mess in my car all the way home. And what makes all of it worse, the root beer was flat by the time I got home. So I will NOT be taking my grandson or myself back to this horrible place, and I do NOT recommend. read more

I drove 2 hours to come here... we don't have them anymore near Nashville so the only way I can get LJS is to come here. People are really missing out on good fish. I got tired of seeing all the LJS close around me. I asked whyyyyy?? Messy. Workers seemed miserable and grouchy. Didn't look very clean. The food was meh. The milkshake was good tho.

Ordered a chocolate shake in a frosted mug and the lady went over and asked if they could do that and she said "you're just gonna have to make it in plastic cup and then put it in a mug" she then told another worker that "the lady ordered it like that and that's how she is gonna have to get it" and we was standing right there in front of her being very rude a disrespectful. The vibe in her is nice but this employee wasn't very kind to her customers. read more

We stopped at Long John Silver's for lunch after visiting Mammoth Caves National Park. The fried Alaskan cod with fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies was decent. Food was served up fresh and hot. Haven't had it in a while so while we were in town we tried it! I wanted the $6.00 shrimp basket but of course they didn't have it so we ended up with 3 pieces of fish for $9.00! What a rip off and it was so small I could not believe it! Won't be back here! read more

Well, first review for a reason. Not sure if this place is new but it sure tasted like they have never been opened. Worst LJ experience. It was closed inside due to all the COVID shutdowns... but that didn't seem to help. Food tasted funny, had a weird flavor in most of it. I couldn't eat any of the onion rings or seafood. We couldn't figure out what the funky flavor was but it wasn't good. My family and I had a long day of hiking and really didn't feel like going back to complain so we settled in with eating snacks for the night. Super thumbs down. read more
