A Classic Turned Sour! Where do I start: Blooming Onion - This is where Old Grease and Left Over burnt Fries Meets a freshly battered Onion. The 9hour soaked French Fries gave this blooming onion that extra special crunch. Filthy mug for Hot Tea Filthy water glass Filthy silverware from previous customers that were re-wrapped in a fresh napkins - mmm, yummy! Wilted and slimy lettuce for dinner salad for a great start to a meal. Tuff steak that even Dollar Tree can be proud of or is it the other way around. I will let you be the judge. That is of course a if you're willing to take the risk. There are way too many options within a stones throw away. You're better suited going to Longhorns or Chilis for a better meal and service. No care or concerns just a "I will have a conversation with everyone!" After speaking to management. It was apparent from the beginning that the bubbly show was just that - a show. I tried having quick conversation to give compliments about how we were greeted by the hostess who sat us but learned very quickly that I was to zip up because I was going to be ignored. I dunno. You be the judge but "At Your Own Risk!" Much better alternatives are Chilis and Longhorn in Cape. If you're looking for a most positive dining experience go to Ariana's. read more

Really terrible cut of meat. My husband ordered chicken & ribs which were ok but my Rockhampton ribeye was nothing but grizzle. I had to spit out every single bite. My husband and I both ordered broccoli as one of our sides and baked potato. We both said they wanted it cooked well done not crunchy at all definitely not all Dante. Well, it was not only really crunchy but they didn't even bother to cut off the brown ends from the broccoli obviously sitting for a while. Basically you can see I only ate half my steak and you can see what I had to spit out. Could meet the broccoli because it was hardly cooked and I do not like it at all like that. The only good part of my meal was the baked potato. Also, I wanted the prime rib which is the only thing I ever order at outback and I don't know if it's just the one here in Cape Coral or if they've changed their policy but they only have that on weekends now. Won't be going back. 10 January 2026 Lunch with a friend at the Outback. My friend wanted to enjoy a belated birthday lunch at the Outback. Obviously his strategy was the Steak and Lobster. I mean why not , I'm paying for it. I ordered soup and salad with the salad being brought to the table first. The salad was good , best lettuce I've ever had , snort snort. After the salad our waitress, the lovely Kate , brought my soup. The soup was a little salty but very good. My friend was a little grumpy after finishing his meal stating that the steak wasn't too tender and the lobster was , meh ... But my friend is a whiner , so I pay him no mind. Well , there was no room for dessert , at least for me. But wait , the birthday boy wanted dessert. So he ordered the chocolate cake with a candle on top + birthday vanilla ice cream on top The Outback is a nice chain restaurant and filled with booths and tables for it's customers. It looks nice inside. But our waitress Kate went out of her way to be very pleasant and polite. She deserves an extra tip. Whoever's in the kitchen at the Outback Steakhouse in Cape Coral (off Pine Island) is absolutely killing it! The main reason I come here -- dine in or takeout -- is for their Kookaburra Wings. They're always cooked to perfection, super flavorful, and pair perfectly with that creamy, chunky blue cheese (which I lowkey have an obsession with, lol). I don't have any photos because we dug right in, but the dish that really blew me away was the Toowoomba Salmon. The flavor and creaminess were mind-blowing -- I might be exaggerating... or maybe I was just really hungry, lol -- either way, it was so good! For sides, I had the green beans and steakhouse mac & cheese, and let me tell you, that mac & cheese was just as rich and flavorful as the rest of the meal. The cook definitely did their big one with that! Whoever's back there needs a raise because everything was on point. Outback Steak House Cape Corral 5-23-25 Stopped by on a Friday afternoon. We got a booth right away. This place was neat and clean. Our waitress was on the ball with our drinks and our food orders. I got the bone in Rib Eye, Mashed Potatoes and Salad. My wife got the Surf and Turf with Filet Mignon, Lobster Tail, Baked Potato and Salad. She also ordered an Outback Drink Wallaby-Darned which consisted of Peach Schnapps, Vodka, Champagne, and Fuzzy Navel. She loves that drink, and it was served perfect. They brough us some bread out first and it was good, but Texas Roadhouse bread is better. Our Salads came out next and was very good as was the dressing we got with them. I always like my Salad served on a cold plate and this was just that. Our Steaks came out shortly after we were done with our Salads. Both our Steaks looked amazing. Mine had some Garlic Butter on top of it. My Steak was done perfect and very tender. The Garlic Butter kicked it up a notch. My wife's Filet was done just like she wanted and very tender. Her Lobster Tail was cooked perfect. The Baked and Mashed Potatoes were fine. All our food was hot and plenty of it. When we were done there was no room for dessert. The Bonita one is the best but i moved out here for family, This location has its good days and its bad. If ordering delivery, you have to watch your door like a hawk. They never knock and your food just sits out there forever. Tracking for it sucks. Items not cooked right and ice cold. However dine in and it is great. Hot food, correct temps on steak, nothing burt or under cooked. Dine in is the best option and the staff is extremely nice although some could smile a little more. We have been going to this Outback for years and our last visit was not good we sat at the bar and the bartender didn't like clearing plates my steak was so tough I couldn't even cut it. The bartender never got back to us to ask how our meals were and it took a while to get our check. When I said something about the steak she called the manager over and she acted like she could care less. She did offer to make me another steak but by then we were cashed out and ready to leave. Though I normally love visiting Outback. My latest experience was sub par. I like my steak Medium Rare, and though temp, color and juiciness was on par. It did lack seasoning and the fat cap wasn't seared, thus chewy and inedible :( A very simple technique for cooking a good steak and it seems that the cooks aren't trained properly or they lack the knowledge. As busy as our waitress was our order was brought out in good time. This was the first time we didn't order steak . We're boycotting meat due to the crazy prices. It's good but really it might not be so good for you anyway. Please don't hold that against me. That's just my opinion and I will eat it again..... just not at Outback. Always enjoy a steak from Outback. Today I had the 6oz Filet with the Aussie Twisted Ribs. Delicious! Really enjoyed both the steak and the ribs. My wife had the Pork Medallions with Pineapple. She really liked them. I wanted to order the "small" Bloomin Onion (Bloomin Petals) but they discontinued them. The waitress said they lowered the price of the onion. There was a point where I would have given this restaurant five stars but recently they have been on the decline. I usually pick up curbside food, but I go inside from time to time (the inside of the restaurant is nice). The last few times I picked up the curbside pick up I was either missing food or the food was not up to par. Yesterday I ordered a meal for my wife and I and her filet mignon had fat all throughout it. My Caesar salad was missing yet the croutons and the Caesar sauce were inside. I tried calling, but I was left on hold for about 25 minutes. I tried calling later on in the day and nobody bothers picking up the phone. Another thing that I noticed was that when I originally started picking up my food, I would pay 20% in tips, but then I started to think for what (nobody was serving me my food or bringing me drinks) so I paid them the typical 10% tip and that's when I started to notice these issues. It seems as though the employees are punishing me for not giving them 20% tip for walking outside of the restaurant and handing me a bag. read more

Where do I start? I brought a party of ten for a birthday for my grandfather turning 80! Outback is his favorite restaurant ever since they opened. The hostess was so helpful and the waitress knew the menu so well! I feel like restaurants are lacking lately with wait staff really knowing their menus and what the food really looks like. We ordered the Outback special and Brisbane shrimp and the Queensland chicken, and the Botany Bay fish f the day was amazing! My husband's steak was a chuck of grizzle that was terribly presented, like they had slid it off the grill across the plate with a trail of grease. His potato was hardly even warm. My steak was overcooked, the baked sweet potato was mush, WAY overcooked and puny...about the size of two golf balls. Our friend's prime? He poured L&P over it to create some kind of flavor he said. Standard outta the bag 'mixed vegetables' for a side. No taste. Staff? meh. Not at all excited to be at work. No we did not contact management...as I looked around other tables were grumbling and pointing out various errors so it's obvious this is business as usual for them. We also do not send food back (I've worked in kitchens, I know what happens back there) Last time we ate in an Outback was 1990....and we don't plan on ever returning. My significant other and I went today to celebrate my birthday. We moved here from Vermont. I had only been to Outback there one time. Well, all I can say about this Outback, is this is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Eli, our waiter went above and beyond any server has ever gone. I turned 80 today and all I can say is: he is the best. After awhile all the waitstaff came over to the table to sing the nicest song to me. As far as the meal was, it tops all the restaurants we have been to, and there have been quite alot. This will be our go to place with friends and family. What a disappointment. Ordered a hot prime rib sandwich and got a couple pieces of something brown that was totally dried out. The baked potatoe was the best thing on the plate.
