I haven't had Outback Steakhouse for a few years, but I can't remember having a bad experience! When I first walked in, the hostess seemed a bit uninterested in talking to us. The manager (I believe) came around and was extremely friendly and welcoming so it was nice to have someone more concerned with our presence. We were seated right away. Our server came around quickly, and got our orders in right away! He was amazing all around. He made sure our drinks were filled and that we were satisfied with our food, even though he was very busy. We had the bloomin' onion to start which is always crispy, hot, and delicious! For the main course i ordered the sirloin with a side of coconut shrimp. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and I was really happy to see that the coconut shrimp were huge and not just full of breading! I will say, I was not a huge fan of the sauce that came with the coconut shrimp. It was very overpowering, and just not my cup of tea. The shrimp themselves were very good though! We went the night before Valentines for a nice relaxing dinner. We had a coupon for blooming onion. They're specialty. It was over cooked and super greasy on the bottom. I ordered the premium side blue cheese pecan salad. It was terrible, terrible. Wilty lettuce, terrible tart vinegret dressing, and not a speck of blue cheese, and only about 5 pecan pieces. Sent that back and replaced with steamed broccoli, which was great! Our bone-in ribeye steaks were cooked perfectly. Mine had about 20% worth of fat (way more than a little marbling). My husband's was much more meaty. Knives look dangerous, but they really barely cut the meat. We were glad to have some leftovers to take home because of the generous portions. read more

I should have complained about it when I got the steak.but I didn't complain until after I was finished with dinner.But showed all the grizzled from the steak on my plate.. Seeing as how long my table waited for our food I swear they were butchering the cow in house. There were a total of five people in my party and we waited over an hour for our main entrees to arrive. When our entrees finally arrived everyone's cut of meat were cooked to a different point despite everyone asking for medium. I got chicken tenders, so those are pretty difficult to mess up. One of my friends ribeye looked like it had been boiled. Half of it was a pink color and the other a light brown. After he sent it back the new one arrived well done (not what he asked for). The overall service from start to finish was extremely slow. The only upside was that our waiter was very friendly and warm. We have not eaten at an Outback Steakhouse since 2011. We were interested in seeing this new location. We had a terrific, as good as it gets, 5-star Sunday lunch today. I ordered one of their specials, which included 1. a choice of soup. 2. a choice of salad 3. a choice of entrees listed on this special's page 4. a choice of one side 5. a slice of cheesecake My husband ordered the Cobb salad with thousand island dressing and the addition of a grilled chicken breast. He said it was the best salad he's ever had! Seriously. The warm brown bread with butter was so good. I chose an 8oz. sirloin for my special's entree. Ordered it medium and it was perfectly medium, pink inside but no blood oozing out. Our server apologized for not checking back on us often enough but we were fine. We had everything we needed from the start of our meal. We will return. Although they don't take reservations, they do have 'call ahead and get on the waitlist'. But were told we could wait until our full party was there. There was no one in the restaurant except some people who were turning meals that they had picked up and were wrong. Got a message on my phone that our table was ready from the system they don't use. We were taken to a table that didn't have room for full sized elderly people. We took a different table. Poor service and the waitress seemed to flock all over an employee who came in to dine. We weren't given silverware until our meal arrived. The steak I ordered was tough and very hard to cut despite ordering it medium rare. There was a lot of gristle and sinew. The manager offered to cook me another steak after seeing the fat and sinew I had to cut off, but he said I chose the wrong type of streak. Maybe their knives are dull but you shouldn't need a chainsaw to cut a ribeye cooked medium rare. Also my baked potato was cold. Watching a video about dry age burgers think the "Next" video popped up and boom steak taste test is how I ended up coming to Outback as they were the winners Placed looked clean and fresh and the updated design was a nice touch. Driving pass i can tell it's been updated. Menu was easy to go through and had a nice variation style of steaks that look to compliment a varsity of styles and taste bugs. Seasoned with our special blend of herbs and spices then seared" -- Cause I didn't write this review the day I had the steak, not going to be as detail to say why I didn't care for it. In the end I'll say I thought it was different. Clearly cut from the fatter portion which might explain why the cut was thinner to me(fat burns off leaving a smaller portion of steak than I was expecting) You'll be full for sure but i was expecting to be taking a portion home. If you ain't first, you're last - Longhorn is my favorite Chain but I we all have preference. This was my first time here! The host took us to our table that was dirty on the table and seat. Not a good first impression. Secondly we were seated at another table then a waiter comes with seemingly not a good day for him and brings waters in a not friendly manner. This entire experience here was not what I expected. Gerry & I were celebrating our 48th Wedding Anniversary & decided to go to this Outback location. I will tell you this was the best service we have had in long time! Top of the line food too. The place became busy with a large group & another waiter took our table & he was so sweet & even gave us a huge cookie to go for free because of our Anniversary. Also a large diet coke for me to go for my free refill. He was very nice & we really enjoyed that the restaurant was very spacious as well. Most of the time the tables etc. are very close. We had room to relax without being so close to other customers. A very pleasant experience! We did order the filet & Lobster tail with mashed potatoes & rice. Delicious! Stopped for a late dinner and we got seated quick since it wasn't busy. Our server was very sloppy and slow and he called my son a he she which was very unprofessional and super messed up. My son has a mullet so I guess this guy has never seen one. My son got really upset and I was outraged totally uncalled for and no manger to switch my server or to talk to. We got our food which I had sirloin 8oz steak with bbq chicken wings and the wings are not that great. The bbq sauce is way to sweet and then they pour a sauce on top and it has a bad flavor. The sirloin was good but I find it funny it the same size as the kids menu steak. I don't get the boneless ribeye at Outback no more because all it is a prime rib cooked longer which is nasty. The worst service. First the person working the door, looked right at me and ignored me. Then she through the menus on the table and started too walk away. I asked can we have a table with chairs because it very obvious that my mom had trouble walking much less sliding into a booth. That restaurant was a mess, no one was clearing tables. No one waited on us for several minute. We saw the waiter4 time our drink oder , our dinner order, when we were done with our food he asked how (it was a little late at that point) we were doing,then he brought the check. My wife and I were here today for the soup and salad lunch special... The food was good but soups were cold and the service was so slow and inept it was comical. 15 minutes for a cup of coffee then 10 minutes for cream and sugar and another 5 minutes for a spoon to stir it. I am not exaggerating you would think they could have brought all that at same time within 5 minutes after ordering it considering the place was nearly empty at 3 in the afternoon. Nothing like a Bloomin' Onion to get your weekend started! We arrived around 5:45pm on a Saturday night and it was packed! Outback has a waitlist feature whereby you can add yourself to the waitlist ahead of time. You should add yourself to the waitlist and we were sure glad that we did! When we arrived, we were told to wait another 15 minutes even though the waitlist estimated our seating time to be 5:45. No big deal. The hostess did a great job passing out menus and some light appetizers to tie us over and get us ready to order once we got our table. Upon being seated, we were promptly greeted by our server who was awesome -- cheery and to the point. We tried the Parmesan Herb Chicken and the Ribeye as entrees. Both were great. The Mule Down Under was delicious -- fresh and crisp delightful beverage. If you're looking for some solid Outback fare, this place will satisfy you. One tip for the restaurant: you need more people clearing tables, so you can turn them around faster. read more

I remember maybe 15-20 years ago, when I thought Outback was good eatin'. While they do have some good items, I do not recommend their burgers. This new facility is very modernized, and doesn't even look like the old Outback Steakhouses you're used to, but it's still cozy. It has very high ceilings and quite large. Our waiter was sort of odd. A super fast-talker, but very friendly. Our food was hit or miss. As my husband and I have noticed with most chain restaurants these days. Obviously the onion petals were delicious as always. Instead of a huge bloomin' onion, you get a plate of petals - it's less food and cheaper - which is exactly what we wanted. My blackberry martini was good - but really just tasted like juice. But for $5, what do you expect? The burger... I ordered what I think was called the grass-fed burger, or something of that nature. I ordered it medium, and it was very pink inside. I didn't care to tell the waiter - I just kept my mouth shut. It was a very thin patty (just a notch thicker than McD's...), no juiciness, and bland. Worst burger I've had in a while. So, unfortunately, just as is the case for TGIFriday's, Olive Garden and Chili's, we will probably be marking Outback off of our list for good. I normally abhor food snobs (even though I feel like I am one sometimes!), but I can't justify spending any money there after having eaten really good burgers elsewhere. I was on a date and they told us we would have to wait on our serving of bread which we never received at all which was a major disappointment. We were celebrating my father's b-day today, and he was excited to order a whole slab of ribs from Outback (b-day boy gets to choose the food!). We went the pick-up route and ordered online. Tried using Firefox, but got to the final step and clicked "Place Order" and it would not go through. Tried twice with no luck. Used Chrome and it worked fine. Keep that in mind. We ordered a good amount of food, and it was mostly pretty tasty. However, and this is the main reason for my 1-star rating, when we got the food back to our house we realized they neglected to include one of our mac-and-cheese sides. Total bummer. We paid for it, and I just wanted what I paid for. I called the restaurant and told the person who answered what happened. I was just assuming they would offer to send one out to us asap (which would have been the right thing to do). They took my name, said they would have to get a manager, and put me on hold. I held, and held, and held. I finally gave up as I was seeing the rest of my family begin to eat. Total fail! It should not be that hard to get an order correct, but when mistakes happen, and I understand that they do, it should not be as difficult as it was to reach a positive resolution. They messed up, and then were not able to get to a manager to make it right. It's a shame, since we literally live 5 minutes down the street. Overall result: 1 star. Can't abide paying for something that I then do not receive. Just leaves me feeling taken advantage of...and a wee bit screwed. read more

We have been to this restaurant many times. And it's always been OK but yesterday it was horrible. The waitress was busy but pleasant and did her job. The food started out OK with the onion and the bread and butter. When they brought us two salads that we asked for the red wine vinegar oil dressing separate, they brought us actual Red Wine or Red Wine that you cook with. It had zero vinegar in it. My daughter didn't know and she put it all over her salad and said this taste horrible. I tasted it in the little cup it was served in and I swear it was actual red wine. Then they brought our steaks. Ordered two $31 fillets. I ordered rare and she ordered medium rare. They both came out the rarest meat I've ever seen. The one side of the steak had very little brown on it like it was hardly was on the grill at all. Both filets were totally raw with a little brown on the outside. And Not edible, and the cut of meat was not good either. The waitress agreed that the fumes off the red wine vinegar smelled like alcohol, The manager came over and said they had new grills, which is no excuse. He took the onion off of our bill. But I probably won't be going back there anytime soon because it cost me $72 for two steaks we could not eat one salad that got ruined and red wine to pour over our salads. It was a horrible experience and the manager didn't seem to care. Cost me over $85 to have a horrible lunch that we couldn't eat. Don't spend your money there. read more

Steak dinner with baked potato and seasonal vegetables all came in same container, so zucchini created a puddle for steak and potatoes to sit in. Zucchini tasted like electrical-- microwaved??? Good food but our server was absolutely terrible. We went 15 min with grease on our hands. Asked for silverware twice and he said they were rolling some. Less than a minute later we watch him give the table across from us silverware and not us. We ended up getting up and finding some. Couldn't get refills even when asking, etc. It was all brutal.. We spent a lot and wanted to enjoy our meal but it was rather frustrating than anything. These are just a couple examples of many. So I've actually been at this location before and usually have a good experience. Well, today was NOT it. After being seated by the hostess, it took 10 min before our server acknowledge us. I couldn't even tell you what his name was. Had to ask for water to start off and that took time. When we ordered drinks, that took another 10 minutes only to be told that they didn't have certain drinks we ordered. Honestly, I was irritated that I forgot what drink it was. Our waiter check on us once throughout dinner and was more attentive towards the end and when he presented us the bill. We had to flag other staff for as simple as napkins and condiments. For our food orders, steak & lobster was good, bloomin' chicken was good but not enough sauce (so make sure u request more for it), and the chicken & shrimp pasta was ok (the white sauce was watery instead of it being thicker). I understand it was Father's Day and busy but it doesn't justify bad service. I observed our waiter/server attend to other tables with bigger parties and totally different energy.
