Worst experience. The food was disgusting. The steak was super dry and burnt as well as the asparagus. The food tasted like if it was cooked on a dirty burnt used up pan. The pasta was super disgusting and had no flavor at all. My kids didn't even it because of how awful it tasted. The food is expensive and not worth it at all especially with their small portions of servings. We also waited a long time just to get our food. This was my first time coming here and I will never come again! So disappointing! read more

Came to eat here after seeing Texas Roadhouse had an hour and a half wait. There wasn't a line here at all, and we were excited to eat a nice steak meal. Our server was hospitable and kind. We ordered a bloomin onion and shared a ribeye steak sided with a loaded potato and a house salad. Bloomin onion was generous and well fried, but we definitely got sick of it after 4 bites (too salty/oily). Some parts of our steak were nice to eat but some were also very chewy. Our house salad seemed basic and even worse, there was a huuge bug and my boyfriend almost ate it. Our server wasn't around for us to complain to, so we told someone else and it took about 20 minutes before a manager came to talk to us. They did offer us 30% off our meal, but I think our whole experience was a let down, just didn't feel very satisfied and warm about the things served to us. It's a steakhouse. So if you order a medium steak it should at least be pink. Couldn't even cut it with a knife. Ordered blue cheese for my BLUE CHEESE salad and got some vinaigrette??? Gave the steak to my dogs. It took them like a full minute to chew it. So if you want a medium steak, order a rare one. Trust me. And the baked potato soup and is just liquid. We went to the Outback last night for dinner. We both ordered 12 once Prime Rid. We ate in the bar seated in a booth. Three hours later I had terrible cramps and diarrhea. Very unpleasant. Lasted all night. It was the blue cheese dressing or possibly the way to soft butter in a small metal container. My wife did not have any of those two things. I call them today at noon and reported it. They offered no apology and seemed not concerned at all. They said ok thanks for calling. REALLY. We have some friends that also got sick there. I went here last night for dinner with my girlfriend and received sub par service and food. We come here probably once a month and usually sit by the bar area and have always gotten great service. The servers over there are always so nice and attentive and the food is always so good even when it's packed. That's why we come so often. We sat near the kitchen this time and had Kevin as our server. He seemed annoyed with us the entire time. Mind you, we went for early dinner and there really weren't very many people there but we felt he was rushing us. He'd be talking to us but looking at other tables and overall not being mindful. My girlfriend felt uncomfortable with him being our server. We ordered a Bloomin' Onion and we don't know how you guys cut them but it was near impossible to pluck the pieces out we had to literally get a knife and cut through all of it. Most of it was under fried batter. We've never had this problem before. Out of everything we ordered, the o my things we liked were the bread and the broccoli. Everything else was either really dry chicken or bland. We'll come here again but if seated in Kevin's section we will ask for another server or to be moved. I can tell you as a long time patron of outback it used to be really good, the food now is absolutely reprehensible the quantity the quality is right in the toilet and that's where it should be thrown. I paid $20 for a chicken Cobb salad tonight which if I went to trader Joe's I could spend 599 and get a better one never never again. You used to be our go to place for my family. Absolutely the worse service I have ever had in a restaurant. I had to ask for water refills and the waiter never cleared our table. We ordered dessert and had to ask him to clear our plates, so that we could have our dessert plate in front of us. And even at that he left half the dishes on the table. This review is from a Saturday night around 5:45PM. I'm back and forth on whether I should do 2 or 3 stars: Seating- there were several empty areas of the restaurant, but we were seated right by the loud kitchen and under an AC vent. I spent the entire night shivering and anxious because people were walking back and forth. Service- the waitress who took our order was very sweet, but when we asked for an additional bread loaf, someone dressed like a manager came out with it on a knife and dropped it on our table without anything. Food- I got the Yelp offer for a free Bloomin Onion, because I've been craving them for weeks! It was falling apart, overseasoned, and didn't come with enough dipping sauce to drown the overpowering seasoning. It was also extremely greasy and made my husband sick after. By the time we got our main entree (a regular burger and a Bloomin Burger), we were full from the appetizers. (It took a very long time to get our food). I ordered a side of Mac N Cheese that I really don't recommend. It tastes like they mixed Italian dressing in with it, but the waitress claimed it's from the various cheeses used. It tasted like bland pasta with a cheesy italian dressing mix thrown on top. When I expressed my concern the waitress shrugged it off and didn't offer anything to make up for me spending $5 on something that awful. Bill- We paid about $50 for 2 sodas, 2 burgers, a Mac n Cheese I couldn't stomach more than a taste of, and a free Bloomin Onion. I wanted to give praise to this location of Outback Steakhouse and its excellent management (Derrick Klepper, Managing Partner). Due to no fault of the restaurant, a mix up had occurred with an order, but Derrick was quick to made it right. My parents ended up coming in a short time after the mix up, and loved the excellent service and thoroughly enjoyed a delicious dinner. May family arrived at the restaurant at 14:35. We were seated at Table 33/Party 5. Our waitress came and took our drink orders and appetizer orders. Another family came and sat at the booth behind our booth and another family came the other booth with u shape table/seating. It is very interesting that both parties who were seated at the other booths were white/caucasian. My family consisted of Black, Filipino and Hispanic. We were never given the complimentary bread until I saw the other booths were given to them. I had to ask the waitress, can we get bread? She commented that it was still in the oven and she get it when it was ready. But, how did the other booths who were white got theirs before us.We sat down 15-20 minutes before they other white people were even seated. I over heard our waitress complaining to another waitress that 3 bar tenders called out sick. If our waitress had to cover our table and the bar, maybe another waitress should have served us instead of her. After we placed our orders, we waited another 35-45 minutes for our food. Again, the white family behind us got their food on a timely basis. They were finished before US and we were still waiting on our food. I am from the Bay Area and this was my birthday weekend to spend with my sisters, nephew and his girlfriend. I am the one who suggested to eat at your restaurant and that was the worst decision. We should have eaten at Boiling Crab but instead I picked your establishment. After we were almost finished with our food, we were practically full from the onion ring blossom and the bread I asked and the salad by the time our food came. The bill was brought to us without the proper booklet that bill normally comes in. I realized we did not get a copy of my bill and the host who I asked for a copy said, the bill should have been in the booklet and my copy would of been there. I told the host, that we never had the booklet. She only gave me 1 copy. We asked to speak to the manager. The manager named " John" came to ask what was the problem? We discussed the issues we experienced and he was laughing. My sister told him, we are going to report you restaurant to corporate. He begged my sister not to report his restaurant for the bad service we received and he was laughing. The manager said he will talk to her. I know nothing be done. He could of offered to comp our food. He asked my sister, did we already pay and she said yes. I walked out. There was not purpose to talk to that manager. Our concerns are not a joke. We did NOT NOT Find anything funny. I WILL NEVER EAT AT ANOTHER OUTBACK again. I will make sure that this restaurant will be noted on YELP. I haven't been to an Outback in years..probably about 10 years. I really wanted a steak and I didn't want to drive far or downtown. This place was busy. I didn't mind the 30 minute wait because I found a seat at the bar. I didn't like the overall bar service. 1. It took awhile for acknowledgement 2. Happy hour ended but the men beside me were still given happy hour promotion 3. My peach bellini was more fruit juice than alcohol- it resembled a breakfast fruit smoothie. It was good but little to no alcohol. 4. I think presentation should matter. Whatever field you work in you should look presentable and the bartender was not put together. I don't expect suits but clothes that fit and show professional appearance is a minimum standard. All other servers and the hosts were appropriately representing a professionally run restaurant. My table was the right size for two people. The bread is phenomenal! We ordered no problem and food showed up fairly quickly. I asked for medium steak and received medium well. However as I got to the last few bites of my 6oz steak it was more red, bleeding, and cold. I didn't finish because i found it strange that in the time it took to get to the last few bites it wouldn't have continued cooking. The brussel sprouts could be cooked longer but they had a pretty good sauce. The potato should have butter on it before adding the additional toppings or it'd be dry. I enjoyed it with butter added. They accepted the yelp bloomin onion deal. It was my first time trying it out and was very good. Great dish to share with the table. By far the worst dining experience of my life. I literally had to figure out my yelp password just to leave a review of any kind for the first time In years. PLEASE do not eat here, it will ruin your night. At first they did not have any tequila of any kind, so we were given vodka shots instead (celebratory shot for birthday), which can easily be overlooked if it weren't for the very next thing, which was the blooming onion that came out overcooked with the after taste and consistency of burnt bacon, the tips were black and tasted like char, I asked the manager as he was explaining the tequila shortage, and he replied that some people prefer it burnt and actually ask to cook it that way. Next was the entrees, I ordered a prime rib MEDIUM RARE; and it came out well done. It had literally 0% red or pink. Looked and felt like a basic house cooked pork chop. I finally complained bc steak isn't something I can eat well done, and the server apologized and ordered me another one. The second one came out medium rare; and the manager served it to me without any conversation of any kind. At this point I started to feel like we were being treated as complainers for not liking our overcooked app and steak. At the end of the meal; the server told us to pay at the kiosk monitor at the table and explained that we were not charged for the blooming onion or prime rib, the tab was quite high for that explanation but a receipt was not printed, the machine made noise but must have been out of paper...after about a 10 minute wait we finally flagged down the server and she was able to print us out a receipt, sure enough nothing was taken off the bill, in fact I was actually charged for 2x lobster tails bc the replacement plate they ordered me had the lobster tail as well (they took the other one before I touched it). After another 10-15 minute wait; we were able to flag down the server again, and she said she would get the manager, and after about 5 minutes, a different man with an apron came out, looked like a cook, maybe kitchen manager, he didnt make eye contact - only looked at the bill the entire time and said "looks like we definitely owe you $9.99 for that extra lobster tail, but the check is already closed so here is a $20 gift card". He seemed nervous like he was thrown out to talk to us, since the other manager was probably too incompetent to know what to do either.... The gift card is completely useless bc I will definitely never be going back to a joke of a chain restaurant that can call themselves a steakhouse and charge the prices that they do. I expect that kind of service at a Denny's at 2am, which is why their meals are $9.99. The server seemed overwhelmed, and the manager didn't apologize once and had absolutely 0 customer service skills. I don't need to get my behind kissed, but a simple apology or any time of empathy for having to deal with problem after problem would have been nice rather than the bland attitude we received by him. I get it; covid, they may have just opened up tonight....I can overlook mistakes and overcooked food, but not the customer service, that manager needs training and a better attitude, if he doesn't like his job, then there's a graveyard Denny's position that he would fit perfectly in at. After reading all of the mixed reviews I was prepared for the worst, but the last two times I came in for dinner Blake was our server & a nice lady I can't complain. Our service was on point even though it was a busy night. Our drinks were refilled & Blake checked back on us. My steak & lobster were cooked just right both visits. The sides were tasty as well. I miss the carrots, but it's nice to have a variety of sides. I have to say in the past we had issues with management, but they have been very kind when they have stopped by our table. The customer service was terrible! Very long wait times and I was transferred too many times back to the same recording to choose option 3 to speak with staff. I was afraid to hang up and start over but I finally did and when I called back they answered right away and I let them know that I was on hold for longer than 15 minutes! I had forgotten to choose how I wanted my steak cooked which I wanted rare. I'm sure by the time I relayed that to anyone my meal was already cooked and packed because it was def not rare- it was medium for sure and not juicy at all, although it was still tender.
