ordered take out tonight through uber eats and everything was perfect. a few years ago, i went to the outback in port jeff station and had to go to the hospital due to cross contamination. i have a terrible shellfish allergy. after i ordered my meal, i noticed that there was no spot to indicate that i had an allergy. i called and the boy on the phone said that he would let the kitchen know. i really appreciate that, sometimes restaurants don't take the proper precautions when dealing with allergies. my food container was labelled when it got to me. thank you outback for taking care of my order and making sure everything went smooth. :) read more

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is strictly because good service and average tasting sides. The quality of meat used here, and I assume at all Outback Steakhouse's is low and does not match it's pricing. My jaw is exhausted after having to chew whatever meat was served to me as a ribeye. Outback if you see this, please stop serving only choice cuts with no marbling and then proceed to call yourself a steakhouse. Service here is good, the meat itself is not. read more

This is always a good go to and a very good main stream steak house. You can order anything from seafood to amazing steaks. They do a very good job explaining their dishes and specifically asking how you would like it cooked. They have a great bar selection and generally always make a great drink. The only thing that I say is not great is the long wait to get a table on weekends. Otherwise, the food will never disappoint. read more

I have been to this Outback at least 30 times of the years. My review might not be that helpful as i generally only eat one thing. I have the sirloin 9 oz medium to medium rare, Backed potato with everything but cheese on it & a salad with out cheese on it. Sometimes I will get a Bloomin onion other times french onion soup. The bloonin onion is really really good it is a must have. Just thinking of it makes me want to hop in the car and go get some. The food overall is always been good, And i have never had to send a meal back because it was not cooked correctly. I love the Outback Steakhouse as the prices are reasonable and the service has always been good. Here is one quick tip that most customers do not know, and is very useful especially when it is crowded. After you check in, Hang out in the bar area, As any of the tables in there are for immediate seating only. So if a table opens up any one standing near by anyone can grab it. The service is sometimes a hair slower but i have not found that to be to often. Overall i give Outback Steakhouse 5 stars. read more

Went here for dinner tonight and was blown away by the amazing service and friendly staff. The food was great! They really did a nice job renovating the restaurant and bar looks very nice. My porterhouse steak with blue cheese crumbles was delicious!!! My son loved his burger too. The bloomin onion appetizer is always good. I have to say the manager really goes over and beyond for Veterans and that means a lot. Definitely will be back soon very pleased with my dinner and the service !!!! Thank you! read more

The food was quite good, so why only 3 stars? Lose one star for a very dark interior and also rather slow bringing out the meal. Lose two stars for insensitive/uncaring/incompetent management. We (a 70 yo old couple) were taking our 40 yo son and 24 yo nephew out for Easter dinner. They did not accept my nephew's valid Arizona license as proof of age. Because I gave him a sip (really one sip) of my beer all our alcoholic beverages were confiscated, and we were not allowed to order any more! I gave him the drink while we were waiting for them to validate his license, which we thought would be a no-brainer. We feel the response was heavy-handed. The ensuing discussion/argument ruined our Easter dinner. PS - I have been in Australia many times and this never would have happened there. read more

This Outback location is our favorite place for steak. The food is delicious and cooked to order, the atmosphere is excellent, the restaurateur is safe and clean, and the waitstaff is always spot on! We try to get Kathy as our server when we can. She epitomizes great service - professional, experienced, knowledgeable, attentive, and very personable and friendly. Accompanied another redeeming their free steak promo here and my side was alright; just make sure you don't research the 'nutrition' info before or after the 'meal'. 10.2011 update: I joined a carnivore who redeemed her coupon for a 'free steak dinner' (a 6 oz wood-grilled sirloin with one side, or $8.99 toward another item) and found the ambiance pretty stale. The carrot cake I tided myself over with was awful and overly cold (nearly frozen). The bread was mushy, at best, but the staff meant well, albeit being a bit overzealous and slightly annoying. They undercooked the accomplice's steak (quite a bit) and when it re-emerged, the friendly manager delivered it, which was a decent (albeit expected) touch. After an a "50-60" minute wait that lasted over 1.5 hours, we had the rudest waiter possible who literally hustled us by acting if the salad choices he was providing were complimentary to the meal - surprise! My Gingerbread Man Martini was lacking something! I had my first Gingerbread martini here last January 2018 ( it's seasonal ). It was great! Like having dessert before dinner. And the food is always pretty good here. But on Thursday evening, Jan 3rd, I came all the way back here just for that special seasonal Martini and it was not special! It was kind of busy for a Thursday evening so the greeter put our name on a list for about a 10 to 15 min wait. We went to the bar and I ordered my martini. I watched the young lady make it. I didn't look like she was putting the ingredients in a martini shaker. Perhaps she just poured them right into the martini glass. Then she came over and put my martini down on the bar. First thing I noticed right away, the glass rim was NOT rimmed with crushed graham crackers! ( like in the pic on their menu ). Second thing....it was NOT Cold! Big disappointment! You might be saying, so what, it's just a drink, but I love flavored martinis and the fancy presentation in the fancy glasses. It's what brought me back here. Always have given Outback a solid four for years. Now, I'll give it a three and a half. Two changes, no more New England clam chowder in the soup option and most importantly, the Rib Eye. All the steaks I've eaten at Outback were really solid except my favorite cut, the Rib Eye. To be honest its diner quality food. Really blaaahhh. Visited Outback of Holbrook on Friday night. We were warmly greeted and promptly sat. Out server came right over to greet us to make sure she introduced herself as Tianna and to let us know she'd be right over. Tianna was extremely attentive throughout the entire meal. Everything from our appetizer of cheese fries to our prime rib and Toowamba Salmon was delicious and made perfectly. The Holbrook Outback is one of the chain's stronger locations both in terms of service and food. Now i know i am reviewing a chain so my expectation are not that high going into any chain restaurant. Chain restaurants to me are just good cafeterias. If the executive chef can not put there own flare on the recipe then how good can it be. My family and i went to the outback steakhouse last thursday for a family celebration for my 14 year old son. We had a party of 9, with two babies under 1. every one of us had some sort of steak. All the steak with the exception of my mothers were good. My mother ordered the serloin medium rare but came out almost well done. My wife ask for medium rare but hers came out super rare. she did not eat the steak that night but we did take it home and fired it up for lunch the next day and it was good. They offered to make them a new one but then we would have been waiting for her after we were all done and thats never good. If you cook at a steak house make sure that you know how to cook steak. The blooming onion, the outback staple, was good like it always is. Very salty and greasy but if your into that you will like it. We ordered the loaded blooming onion as well. its advertised as" Our signature Bloomin' Onion® topped with loaded Aussie Cheese Fries. Served with our spicy signature bloom sauce and house-made ranch dressing". well its more like a blooming onion with a couple fries on the side and cheese. Don't bother. The wait staff was very good and attentive. Over all for the loud family we are with 4 kids we had a good meal and a good time. I wouldnt recoomend this if your going out on a date but i would if you are going out with the kids. read more

Oh Outback, how I love thee. This chain restaurant provides meals that have that quality taste to them, as if your mom just cooked them at home. DECOR: Wood tables and chairs, dim lighting. Casual feel to the place. FOOD: Ugh their food is so good. Especially compared to an Applebees type chain restaurant. Definitely a step up. Food is much better quality than your average chain. They bring out a little loaf of some sort of dark brown bread and butter before you order, and that bread is very tasty! I always order the coconut shrimp appetizer (you get like 8 giant shrimps!) and the cheese fries are pretty good too (comes with a spicy ranch dip). My go to entree is usually the wood-fire grilled pork chop. Comes with mashed potatoes and green beans (but their broccoli is so good, I ask for those instead of green beans). Caesar salad there is a tasty little treat, I suggest getting a side one of those with your meal. Burgers here are pretty decent too, nice flavor and good quality meat. SERVICE: Usually average/friendly service. Can get packed on a weekend evening so make sure you prepare for that. read more

So, we went here for dinner the other night because we had a gift card. We usually don't do chain restaurants anymore we have been so disappointed in the food and service. However, we had the opposite experience at this location. Service - A+ Our server's name was Matt T. (At least that is what was on our receipt). He was outstanding!! Our drinks were refilled before we could even ask and before we even knew they were empty. Our plates were cleared efficiently and most of all he was friendly and fun! With service like that - he should be a manager of the servers. ;) Great job! Food - B The bread is always delicious at Outback and the salads were great. I had the tangy tomato dressing, which is sweet and spicy. My fiancee had the wedge salad with a blue cheese dressing that was great. We ordered the chicken quesadilla appetizer (small order - which was more than enough). The quesadilla was a little greasy to be honest, but was ok. We both ordered Victoria Filet - mine medium rare and his medium well. This is my biggest complaint when coming to the outback - the steaks are not always cooked perfectly. But then again, it's a $20 filet from the outback ... how picky can you get? Mine was VERY rare ... mostly red with little pink. The flavor was excellent, however. Dale's filet didn't even look like a filet - it looked like a thin skirt steak because it was so well done. I thought they may have butterflied it because it was so thin, however, they did not. I told him he should ask about it because it didn't look like a filet and it was so well done. He said it tasted good and he likes well done anyway. Our baked potatoes were delicious and my side of coconut shrimp is always a favorite of mine. ;) We skipped dessert. Atmosphere - A This is a much more modern Outback than any I have been in before. The booths were large and comfy. The waiting area had some nice lemon water for us and a comfy booth to sit on. So to start off my review, I want to first elaborate and explain that I did not dine in, I ordered take out. Something so simple. We tried to place an order through their website, and it said "45 Minute wait" ok. So we called to confirm because for a wednesday night that's pretty outrageous. We were told that they don't want their in house guests to get food before us, or vice versa, so the orders are all placed in the order they're received. Meaning - I had to wait for someone sitting inside nice and warm to get their food before I can grab mine to go. Ok, still trying to be positive... an hour later we get our food and bring it home. I had the prime rib sandwich, the steak on it was literally all fat, I think that there was one onion; the garlic mash was absolutely disgusting and dry and the free bread which I guess I shouldn't complain about because it was free, was ice cold and soggy. I'm no food critic by any means, but this was pretty gross food. I'll never go back. PS the parking is ridiculous, why I have to park in front of CVS and have to walk all the way to outback is crazy for a restaurant, on a wednesday night no less. read more
