My server was very good polite and I appreciated her. However, I did get a cheesecake to go and it would've been nice to get utensils with it so I didn't have to eat it with my fingers at the hotel. I haven't been to Outback in years, but decided to come on NYE since it's closeby. It wasn't busy at all and I was promptly seated with fresh bread. The waitress was very kind and attentive, starting with drinks before moving on to apps and entrees. I started with the rum punch which was delicious! Skipped the apps and went straight for a filet with a side salad and mac n cheese. I ordered the filet medium rare and it was very tender and cooked to order. The house salad was a good basic salad with a mustard vinaigrette that I enjoyed. I also liked the Mac n cheese but it tasted like they added a little bit of taco seasoning, unique and subtle but not my favorite. Finally, I finished off with a slice of the chocolate tower cake which was great. However, it is fudgy and thick in case you're looking for a light fluffy cake. read more

How disappointing to go to the staple Outback for prime rib on a Friday night at 6pm only to find they are out. Out of the 10 of us in our party, 4 of us would have liked to order this entree. So, 40 percent of us were already unhappy at the outset of our family meal. After speaking with a member of management, the excuse they gave us was they were much busier because the beaches location closed. This location should figure out how to better order from their distributor before it loses more customers. Many of us pivoted and ordered alice springs chicken, which was outstanding. It doesn't satisfy the way the prime rib would have though. The staff was kind and adequate although it did take an extremely long time to get our meal. I am sorry to say we will be looking for a new neighborhood steak place and other steak lovers should too. read more

I ordered a wedge salad as my main dish and was very unhappy that both salads were packed between the hot meals into one bag. To spend this much money for warm salads is incredibly disappointing. Update** We tried again, went out with our visiting son- 3 of us, not a very busy night and the kitchen is SO SLOW. Our server checked on us often- even to run by and promise our food was almost up. But by that point it was beyond recovering. I ordered a second drink and refused to touch it till my food arrived. My son held off on finishing his beer for the same reason. It took almost and hour from ordering to get our food. That's simply too long. I had it originally at 4 stars- but it's just not the case. 3 stars and that was because their servers are busting their butts. We took dad out for dinner after helping him at the house and this used to be one of the places he would come with mom. Dad was craving a steak- this was a no brainer. Our server kept the bread coming as the kitchen seemed a little slow. I loved my berry martini and the guys got the seasonal cinnamon-pecan smoked old fashioned. John enjoyed his drink and got to finish dads, apparently a little too smokey for him. Steak, shrimp and grilled chicken filled the table and we all enjoyed our individual meals. When I got to the resturant the take out attendant and the resturant manager went out of there way to make sure the order was correct . This was just a small order for my mother in a nursing home but they treated me so well. My mother lived her onion soup and cheesecake. I have to start by saying I don't like chain restaurants but my hubby has this belief that he can occasionally visit the Outback and have the great steaks he remembers from years ago. We have now visited this spot several times after moving down to this area and it just isn't great. The service took so long that we were getting ready to leave as we had been there at least 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Crystal came out as we were getting up and apologized that they were short staffed. She was nothing but nice and quick to take our drink order. One of our sons joined us. We started with cheese fries and blooming onion. They were as expected for this restaurant. My son had the filet with a potato and salad and thought it was decent. My hubby was disappointed that the New York strip choice is now with a bone only and he hates bone in steaks. He said it was rubbery and not cooked properly. I had a side salad and a baked potato. The salad was good but the potato was undercooked. We had several adult cocktails but from start to finish an hour and a half for the meal in a mostly empty restaurant. I do want to give Crystal kudos as she was nice and accommodating. It's a typical chain and you get what you get there. Much better locally owned restaurants in the area to visit. read more

They have a limited time offer for snow crab legs and they were so good!!! It came with two giant clusters, butter, lemons, and two sides plus bread. I got a loaded baked potato and Mac n cheese. I have gravitated to Outback for steak since college. I chose to order online and pick up at the closest location to my house. I placed my order and was given a time frame for pick-up. Upon arrival I looked for the special parking spaces marked "Curbside Take-Away." A cheerful employee came up to my car window within five minutes. She brought my check and took my payment and was back with my food within another five minutes. I was pleased with the take out experience! I wasn't all the way thrilled with my salad as there was a ton of hard white chunky lettuce that I do not like. I did really like the salad dressing however. I ate about half of the salad and then moved on to the main course, lobster tail, a 9 ounce center cut sirloin and a loaded (butter, sour cream and chives) baked potato. The lobster tail came with melted butter for dipping and I enjoyed it! The lobster was the first thing to disappear from my plate. The steak was cooked nicely and was tender and juicy. The baked potato was also good. They let me cut it open so it was nice and hot. I will be back in a few months when I get a craving for another steak! read more

While Outback chain restaurants typically don't wow me, I do think their prices are great for a good steak craving fix. Their food is not mediocre; it's very consistent and their menu offers more than just steaks. Outback offers other enticing entrees such as seafood and pasta for those who aren't big on steaks (such as myself). Today, I had a migraine and my brain must've needed a reset button because I was craving steak. For starters I ordered a Bloomin' Onion. I'm always seduced by Outback's infamous Bloomin' Onion commercials so I couldn't resist. I ordered a 6 oz steak and coconut shrimp with 2 sides mac&cheese as well as fries for my 2 yr old and I to share. My 11 year old ordered a kid's meal: chicken tenders and fries. Meal was great, service was even better. Our server was Michael and he took great care of us! Migraine days are never good so I was really grateful for his attentiveness and ability to anticipate our needs! We got our food right away and everything we asked for. This is a good sized location and is very nice and clean. Staff is friendly. I like Outback and while it's not a fancy establishment boasting the best steaks, I'm giving 4 stars because 3 stars is just an insult to the individuals who made my day just a little bit better with good food and great service. read more

Blue cheese Chopped salads had one small peice of blue cheese on one salad and 3 small pieces in the other. And we paid more for that Called and spoke to Kaitlyn the manager and was basically told that's what you get for those salads and if I wanted the asparagus separate I should have ordered it that way, which is interesting because I did order as an extra ‍ and there was nothing she could do because I ordered they Uber eats and next tine I should order directly with them. Not sure why this place has such terrible reviews. I'd say we come here about once a month and the staff is always very attentive and friendly, and the food delish. The manager almost always comes to make sure you're enjoying your meal. I did have undercooked chicken one night but they quickly replaced it and took that portion off the bill. I have had multiple bad experiences at this outback location. The only reason I go back is because family members request that. The service is very forgetful. During this visit our server forgot to bring us our drinks, forgot to bring half the sides for the table when she delivered the food, and the cook made the wrong order for food. The manager confirmed the server put the correct order on the ticket. After all that the manager tried to smooth things over with 40 dollars in gift cards. We went here for my brothers graduation a little while ago. Though, we made reservations a few days before, it still took some time for us to get seated as we know how graduation dinner goes. Our server was great. (Unfortunately, I forgot her name). But she was very tentative to refills, asking us if we needed things. It felt like whenever we needed something she was there. As for appetizers (not pictured), you had to get bloomin' onions! As per usual, it was bomb dot com. The wife had steak. She enjoyed it. She said it was perfectly cooked, tender, and obviously edible (we've had some bad luck at some steakhouses). I opted for the Philly cheesesteak. It was my first time trying so I was a bit hesitant. BUT it was actually great! The bun was really soft and chewy. The steak was tender and has good seasoning (tasted like a salt/pepper/garlic combo seasoning) but it wasn't super seasoned and it was bland meat that one might get at other restaurants. Walked in the place on a Saturday greeted. No wait during peak hours on a Saturday was a bit different and were seatedimmediately. Waitress instantly got our drink / app order. After that it went all downhill. Waitress came back and asked for our order in what I would refer to as a very aggressive manner. The place was not busy at all. Ordered 2 apps before this and then smaller meals due to the amount of apps for my wife and I as we were out for date night with the kids and were being social. I don't care at all about wait time and I'm pretty understanding. Ordered water to drink because I drank the night before. From the time I was brought the original water with bread I was never able to get it refilled. We had to stop one of the , what I would refer to as food runners and request they bring us another water , which they did eventually. My glass was empty on the edge of the table and they brought our food and still ignored the empty glass. Waitress never checked on us and when my food came out I was brought the wrong food.after eating two appetizers with no drink I was over it and sent the food back that was wrong and requested they not worry about bringing the correct food out. The waitress finally came by and I requested the check , because at this point I was not interested I. Letting anyone ruin the experience even more with a dessert order , and she brought it immediately. I checked the check and the food we never received was in the check and the waitress didn't even have any idea about the issues we had with the wrong food being brought out . which was off putting and she would have if the runner would have told her , or she had came to check on how our food was. But she did not. And the place wasn't busy at all. She didn't enquire as to the situation , not offer an apology and just said " ok " and took it off and moved on. Which was even more off putting. I paid the bill and even tipped the full amount you should on the bill , only due to the premise that maybe it will makes someone's night as I'm sure they split tips with food runners and I don't fault them but I however do fault the waitress for the terrible service. This was a terrible waste of a kid free date night and we will not be going back. I did not enquire for the manager because if they staff didn't care to communicate I would assume the manager would be the same way. and I have no problem paying a bill , let alone a premium for premium service. Such a disappointment. I should have known why there was no wait walking into this place during peak hours on a Saturday and now I know. Go somewhere else and have a better experience for less money. At 5:10, a server came out and got the name of the car beside and asked my name, again. At 5:30, as she delivered 3 different orders, that just pulled up, I asked he to check on mine. She came back out and advised that it was being cooked but the soup I ordered was unavailable.
