Honestly I was really surprised, didn't have high hopes from this chain and this was my first time. We were 5 people (3 adults 2 teenagers), we were driving back from KSC and there was quite a lot of traffic so we decided to stop for dinner to let traffic drop a little. Their burger was really good and even our usually pescatarian decided to enjoy a rack of ribs that were really good. We have some picky eaters in our group but everyone found something to eat. The place was pretty busy so it took some time to get our food but that was fine. All in all including tip, $120. Really not too bad considering prices in restaurants. He was on top of everything attentive, friendly just on point. He made sure our meals were correct and just an overall wonderful server. I don't know him personally, so this is not a bias review, but it's an update because previous visits were not,so great, but this server made it so, he definitely needs to be recognized! The restaurant is located in the shopping center such as Ross, Footwear, Bath and Body Works, Marshall's and many more stores When we got there it was a couple of parties and it was very crowded. We didn't wait too long to be seated. Now they were about to sit us right in the middle of both parties and we decided to move to another area so we had to wait again. We started off with the warm bread and butter before ordering our appetizers. Now I do like that our waiter informed us that it is a little behind with the preparation of the food. I really appreciated him. Now we started off with the potato soup for myself and everyone else ordered salads and of course they brought out another warm bread and butter. Our waiter kept checking on us even though they had such big parties he was helping out with. So we finally decided on our choices and I got the rack of ribs, fully loaded potatoes, my daughter ordered the Coconut Shrimp, broccoli and fully loaded potatoes as well. My son chose the chicken strips and fries. Our oldest son chose the steak and chicken plate, broccoli and fully loaded potatoes. I'm a firm person when it comes to my steaks and if you get it right on the first try he's a true Chef and we didn't have any complaints about none of the food. Service was good. Nothing outstanding. We ordered our steaks to be medium rare but we got medium. We both got a tough cut of meat. It was hard to chew through. Tried cutting it into the smallest pieces but ended up leaving less than half of it. My potato was on the dry side. I've ordered their sweet potato in the best and it was the best sweet potato but not on this visit. The salad was delicious. The cookie skillet was also good. The cookie is thick and the edges are crispy. The steak was the disappointing tho which was what we were really looking forward to. Maybe it's bc we went for lunch around 4 instead of dinner. Idk. We visited this Outback on a Thursday evening, and the restaurant was not busy. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Several employees and waitresses were standing together in a group talking near our table, but no one acknowledged us or offered any service. We waited about 10-15 minutes, and not a single employee came to greet us, offer drinks, or let us know someone would be with us shortly. After waiting with no service at all, we decided to leave. It was frustrating to see staff chatting while customers were being ignored. I hope management addresses this issue so future guests have a better experience. read more

Me and my wife came in and sat at the bar we had a sever with a beard sorry I don't have the bill number it was around 8:00 pm on 11/9/2025 yesterday. We both tea and I had a bone in Ribeye with rice and mash potatoes my wife had the chimichurri filets. Both came out cold the bone in Ribeye was so tough from being cold I could barely cut it without shaking the table and her filet was dryed out this is our second time and last time visiting this location in Kissimmee it has missed the mark twice now. I'll be honest at this point I was a refund after a large cheese cake being added to the Bill that we never asked for or received. Went on a Wednesday evening and it was a great experience. Restaurant was not too busy. We decided to sit at the bar as it was quick. Our bartenders were excellent, constantly checking on us and making sure we were good. The bloomin' fried shrimp is one of our favorite appetizers, always a must! We stopped in for Father's Day...I was in the mood for steak and we had a good experience. We did call ahead seating so we only waited about 5 minutes for a table. It seemed like they were doing a good job of managing their dining room with the amount of staff they had. I appreciate that approach. Server was good. Order was taken promptly and comfortably. Salads and bread came out and then the wait began. It was funny when we walked in I was holding the door for some older guests leaving and one lady mumbled "think again, service is slow, food took a long time...it may not be worth it" We just smiled and chalked it up to an older person didn't enjoy their experience. BUT then we waited and waited for our food. At one point our server came by and said there were 4 more groups in front of our order. We were all shocked because we had already been waiting for a while. But it was Father's Day and we didn't have an agenda and so we just enjoyed having the family around the table talking and connecting, so the wait wasn't a complete deal breaker. BUT the food finally came to the table. There were 6 in our group and everyone enjoyed their meals. Usually we have someone who was disappointed or had to send something back or something but everyone was happy. I got their sirloin with the lobster mac-n-cheese and it was really good. My steak was a little more done than I preferred, asked for medium and it was probably medium-well. My sweet potato could have used more time in the oven but it was totally edible. So, all in all, we had a good experience. Outback is kind of our "go-to" place when we want steak and this experience was such that we will come back again in the future I am sure. read more

On Sunday July 14th, I got a call from a woman named Felicia (I believe that's her name) about my previous review. She apologized for our experience. She asked for our address to send us paper vouchers to go back and try again. We accepted. We went in today, July 18th, around 1 pm excited. When being seated, we were offered a high chair for our daughter. The service by our server was amazing! She gets 5 stars. I explained our last experience and let her know about our paper vouchers. We saw her let the manager, Jeff, know we were there. Everyone was kind and respectful. However our food is why this is a one star review. Our last experience we got a hair in our food and then were given the same food once it was removed. This time we ordered the wings and after eating a few, looked down and saw a hair fried into the breading of one of the wings. At this point my appetite was done. When telling the server, they made us a fresh batch. Jeff came over to apologize and say he had "no idea how that happened", which honestly is not what I wanted to hear at this point. After explaining that we got the paper vouchers due to the same situation last time, I knew right then we were never coming back to this location. when I asked if Adam was there, the person whose name was on these vouchers as the manager, I was told he was on vacation. Which is what I was told the last time I went in and had a hair in my food. Once our fresh batch of wings came out, our entrées did as well. So we had no time to eat our wings before our entrees arrived. My steak came out covered in water from the vegetables so it was a watery mess. I took a few bites of my steak and there was almost no seasoning on it and it was bitter. If you've worked in the industry before you know when a steak is bitter, it's most likely spoiled. We asked for to go boxes and boxed up my husbands leftovers because his bloomin' chicken sandwich and steakhouse Mac and cheese were actually pretty good. When getting the bill I noticed that we still had to pay for the wings. I understand they made us a new batch, however given the situation you would think those would be comped. But this also did not come to a surprise to me because our item with a hair in it last time was not comped off the last bill either. While I was getting the bill sorted out, my husband went to change our daughter in the men's room. Here is a photo of where the changing table is. It is right across from the urinal so once it's opened, you basically have to touch backs with the person peeing right behind you. I highly recommend they move this changing table to a more appropriate spot. I wish I could've say our experience was better, however I cannot. We still have a $20 voucher left that we will not be using. I cannot believe this happened twice and am very disappointed. My final review on this place is a 1 star unless you enjoy hair in your food. read more

Outback used to be my absolute favorite restaurant. I would request to have my birthday dinner here every year. That was until they decided to buy cheap quality ingredients. First of all - BRING BACK THE CREAMY ONION SOUP!!! it was replaced by the potato soup (ew). If you order a chicken dish, the chicken is chewy and doesn't take like real chicken (gross). I always knew the one item they couldn't screw up was a salad. But man I was so wrong on this last visit. I got old lettuce that was brown- it also was packaged on top of my hot food which therefore made The lettuce warm =gross. I decided to try something different -their fettuccine special with lobster and shrimp. This was also horrible- only tasted like cream . I have always been a lifetime supporter of Outback, but that has since changed. Outback has lost my business. Stop cutting corners to save on pricing. Outback used to be the best. Wtf happened ?! A wonderful restaurant near the Kissimmee area This Australian-themed restaurant chain that started in Tampa in March 1988 has grown to have over 1000 locations in 23 locations. I have been to many of their locations and it is often a comfort food for me. This particular location is on the north side of US-192 to the east of the turnpike entrance. It is in a stand-alone building with plenty of parking. There is a seating area for waiting both inside and outside the restaurant. As with all their other locations, you check in at the hostess station and are escorted to your table. The restaurant is a mix of tables booths and bar seating. The waiter came over quickly and took our drink and food order. We were given their signature bread and butter on a board. Their menu has a great deal of variety in appetizers, meals, and drinks. Their version of the loaded fries and bloomin' onion are both excellent. For this particular visit, I ordered the Steakhouse salad which is my favorite for this chain. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The prices were reasonable, the dining area was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. I was a Cook for 25+ years. I've seen a lot of terrible food that tried to go out of the kitchen. Never in my days would I think I would ever order a medium steak and get this handed to me. My waiter did not bring me this food. It was expo! Now those of you who work in restaurants know what expo is. Expo dropped it off and said enjoy. I pushed the plate away from me and waited until my waiter got to me and asked him if I could get a medium steak. He proceeded to take the steak off of the plate and leave the potatoes and broccoli on the plate. (I literally hate when they do that). After about 10 minutes of waiting I asked him to heat up my potatoes and my broccoli. About 45 seconds later a lady comes out, dressed in maybe like a blazer and some pants and says "hi sweetie, here is your medium steak". I asked her if she saw the other steak and she said no and asked me if I wanted to cut the steak to see if it was indeed medium. I told her that I could look at it and tell that it was medium . Outback steakhouse better get their shit together because this right here is not good business practice. Will I go back to them, no! I am calling the corporate office in the morning, no I don't want a gift certificate or a free meal, I want you to get your kitchen staff together because they are going to make you all lose a lot of business. You have indeed lost business with me. I tried to keep my anger below five but we are somewhere around 20 right now. And my older age I am beginning to gives less and less of a rats ass what I say!!! Togo order experience: I had placed a to go order and parked early so I could wait until the food was ready. Amanda the Togo server came and asked what the name on the order was and let me know they didn't have an order under my name and asked if it was in the correct location. I let out a big sigh and realized I put in the order under the wrong outback lol. She was kind and asked if I wanted to place the order with her so she can expedite the order instead of me having to drive all the way to the Kissimmee location and I said yes please. She was so kind and patient!!! The food came out quick, she was poised and handled my situation with grace and a calm demeanor. I ordered a full rack with green beans and a sweet potato and the food was bomb. The ribs weren't fatty, everything was hot & delicious! 10/10 service and food. I haven't gone to this Outback in a while but was in the area with my husband and decided to stop by. We were greeted nicely by the host but decided to sit at the bar. When we approached the bar there was a woman manager standing at the bar and didn't greet us. A couple minutes later our server greeted us and got us our drinks and order quickly. I didn't get his name but he had great customer service unlike the manager. As we were leaving, the manager walked right passed us again, not saying a word. I think the staff of friendly but the management needs to be more attentive because some of us are managers as well and we have to set expectations. read more

I would understand if the restaurant was busy, but it was half empty. The manager blamed corporate of not letting enough kitchen staff. So the manager picked up my check.
